We gave this program a "4" and here is why… Pro: This word-card brain puzzle is very challenging. Con: The dictionary does not bring up the definition of the word questioned, the box remains blank.
We like this game, and we have learned some new words. We like the dictionary feature so we can find the meaning of words we are not familiar with but lately the dictionary is no longer working. What has happened.
Why did we delete it? Its a good game that makes you think but the constantly moving ads at the bottom of the screen are so distracting snd annoying they took all the fun away.
It stopped working again! The game wont open. Im on level 3453 and we wont start over! The last time this happened it fixed itself after a few months. We hope it fixes itself sooner this time. Ive been playing this game since 2022. Dont give up if it wont open and just gives a blank screen. This happened to us for a few months, it corrected itself. Dont give up because it is easy. The first several hundred levels are easy but the game gradually gets more difficult and challenging. There are 15,000 levels! Directions are minimal, leaving things for you to figure out yourself by poking around or observation. This makes the game more fun. This game is very satisfying and we recommend it, regardless of its imperfections, many already stated in other reviews. There are thousands of words the game doesnt recognize. But the worst thing about this game is the stupid extra words. These words dont count towards filling up the card and there are thousands of them, and you can use them only once to earn a coin! This means you will be using the same common words words over and over and over again. This also means skill doesnt matter much since the designers artificially have made it difficult to fill up cards. This gets worse the higher you go. This is very frustrating, especially when youve entered three or four good words but the game refuses them all! The designers did this on purpose, hoping youll get tired of looking for words and use your hints up, thus trying to force you to PAY for coins instead of earning them to buy hints. Offering the purchases is ok, but to try to force it the way they do is just plain greed.

Ive played this game for years. It is our favorite game. A week ago, it no longer opens. The icon opens to a white screen with the game logo and thats it. Whats going on.
Ive played this game for over a year, now there are blank screens, we reloaded the game and lost all our points, we have to start over.

We love this game but the ads are entirely too long. Anyone with half a brain knows within 15 seconds whether they are interested in the ad or not !!! First they start at 15 or 25 seconds and then you think the ad is over and up pops another 5 seconds and then sometimes another 5 seconds pops up. Its ridiculous.
Ive been playing this game on and off for several years. Recently Ive been playing every day. Yesterday the game stopped opening. We did the update and now the game wont open at all Guess we have to find another word game to play. Ive tried to open it at least 15 times since yesterday.

Enjoyed this until now. Finish a game and ad starts. Runs 5 seconds and X appears in upper right. Used to be you click on X and it would go to screen of sponsor. Click Done and youre back in game. Now you click X and goes to screen of sponsor and then Done but goes back to another 5 second ad. Sometimes 3 times. Was good to play but not now. Probably delete it if this doesnt change.

This game is rigged. It is extremely selective of which words are accepted for each round. As you try to figure out the last words, the game has some word that wouldnt even be admissible in a spelling bee. They want you to buy and spend their way. No thanks!! Also, your rewards are very chintzy- one has to watch 5 long ads to get 50 coins. We will go back to playing something thats challenging and fair to its users.
In the commercial there was a women with a baby who got pushed off of a bridge. So when downloading we were expecting to help her like in the ad. BUT to our surprise there was no woman. IT LIED TO METhis is very upsetting considering we wanted to help the woman and we were expecting fun decorating. Im very angry now.
When and if it works!! Used to play it multiple times per day; had accumulated around 7,500 score. In the middle of a contest when it stopped working. Only getting a white screen with Word Puzzles Logo. PLEASE FIX THIS.

Ive been playing this game for a long time. When we open Word Card it just shows word card in the middle of the screen and doesnt open. We really miss playing Word Card. We are playing on an IPad 9th generation, Version 16.3.1. Is there anything you can do to fix this problem.
This game is super easy, takes you to a place of relaxation.
We have written the developers several times because we can no longer collect butterflies yet we can purchase the bonus by giving up 10,000 pts every week. There are a lot of ad interruptions, too. We enjoy the weekend tournaments but we like playing for butterflies until last 3 mos. We also agree with others that some of the most common words are not useable & made up ones are. We do hope the developers care what the players are reporting is most frustrating about game so they can continue to have long term players.
It should have bigger word boards.
