This game is so good, we dont even play anymore and we came back when we remembered we forgot to write a review. Hands down, we’ve definitely put more hours into this phone game than any other one ever. Our only thing is we almost finished the game(i think?, im sure its been updated 100 times since we’ve played though), then our phone broke and we’ve never been able to get back into our character. After all those hours that really left a sour taste in our mouth and we dont see myself ever starting from the beginning again.

Great game love the style should try to do a StarCraft style for this game.

Got a year and a half of gameplay out of a $10 investment. Huge stonks.

This is, by far, the best mobile game we’ve ever dumped this many hours into. So much to do despite the "idle" label. Devs and community are great. Top notch stuff. Number go up. Seratonin go up. What else is there to say?

Thank you for continuing to add more content to this game. This is a great game with no ads after purchase. Been playing for almost a year and a half consistently and still have not finished all the content. For the price of the game, you cant beat it.

Game is awesome its like osrs but idle, it just needs some type of socialization to it like friends list, leaderboards, clans so you can compare to other players or like a boss mode or raid that takes multiple players to beat.

Theres so much to do, so many skills to train, and so many monsters to kill. An incredibly solid idle game!

If you love RuneScape then this game is for you, its so in depth with everything and the best part is it ISNT PAY TO WIN. The full game is 100% worth the $10 and the expansion is 1000% worth the $5. The devs definitely deserve a firm handshake for making this game. 5\5 stars for us.

Like RuneScape, but as an idle game. Superb job lads.

This game is the perfect matchup of OSRS and a great idle game.

It has everything, so much QoL content for idle gamers with busy lives. We just started and feel like making a second character for a speed run is still an option. With future updates in the pipeline this is a must try, if you ask us. Based off of RuneScape with a mild learning curve, this will have your attention we promise.

We played as a kid and loved OSRS for years but we dont have time anymore. This gives us some nostalgia and avoids the feeling of xp waste while Im at work.

Like most have said in some way, it checks all the boxes for an in-depth 3D rpg, condensed into a 2D app with minimalists in mind. Only thing Id think of adding is a Perma-death Adventure Mode that starts you with nothing with the same or tweaked settings the developer chooses from Adventure Mode. This would give more weight to your decisions and would make the game last a bit longer for those of use who want a bit with our progression and experience. And could you add an option to flip the menus from right to left? Its easily played with one hand, but not when the menus are only on the right. Great work, and and easy sell for an enjoyable game.

People who don’t have time to grind but can appreciate numbers going up and progress being made will love this game. It isn’t mindless, every skill is unique and contributes to other skills due to skills needing each other. Township is an awesome feature that grows around your skills. Must try, strongly recommend buying the expansions.

Just in general its a great game. In the idle genre it stands head and shoulders above the vast majority of idle games with one or two exceptions. The devs deserve the highest praise for the exceptional game that theyve created. We are especially glad that they have allowed for continued progress across PC and mobile. We are at about 75% completion at the time of writing and we will without a doubt purchase the expansion with hopes of many more to come. Congratulations devs on your great game. P.S. Thanks for not gathering unnecessary data from users.

We love this game and bought the expansion, but tonight it wont let us log into the cloud. It also now claims we dont have an account. Yikes! Please get this fixed pronto! That is the only reason we have a negative review, in the hopes someone will help!**Fixed! Love This Game.

Fire making exp bonus are bugged and do not work.

We like the concept, loved RS growing up, it obviously takes up too much time though. So this was a nice idea. We even paid for the throne of herald expansion. However a bug just caused us to delete it, too often we came back from being idle to find our guy did absolutely nothing. Felt like it defeated the purpose of the game.

And here comes the but. The one thing stopping us from giving it 5 stars is the fact we lose progress. What we mean by this is that we were training our defence in combat. We left the game running in the back ground all day while at work. We accidentally closed it at the end of work and even though the game says we’ve been doing combat since 7 hours ago, when we reopen the game, we made zero progress and lost 7 hours worth of combat training. Not a big deal since we can just go back to training again and go to bed but still, a major flaw. Other than that its a good idle game.

Specifically the bug where you load into a character and cant do anything unless you close the app for 10 seconds and reopen it so you can click ok on your welcome back message. So very annoying and Im considering stopping playing altogether specifically because of this bug. Im tired of closing the app and reopening every single time we switch characters.

We played the steam version on release for a long time, following updates by the original indie dev. According to iOS its now published by jagex.

Cool idea for a game (albeit stolen from RS, so the idea isnt even the devs). Would be more approachable if they hired someone to do some UI/UX. Very unintuitive layout in-game, makes for a bad experience as a new player Also equip food??? Am we using shrimp as a weapon?

The interface is shockingly bad. Im not sure how they got it so wrong. So many things seem backwards. We feel as though any amount of player testing would have illuminated the shortcomings.

We got into Melvore Idle way back around when it was first released. It was rough around the edges, but you could easily see the potential, and we were happy to be a part of its early development. We stopped playing for a while because life happens, but we looked forward to having the time to get back into it some day. Fast forward to today when we reinstalled it to see the progress, and imagine our horror when we saw that around half of the previously-free content was now locked behind a paywall. A huge amount of content is now no longer available unless you spend moneyand thats not even considering the cost of the DLC. Im not opposed to creators funding their livelihood through premium content, but when you take away the content that you once offered for free, you lose all of our support. We will happily watch ads and purchase new content packs to support developers, but we will never support the removal of basic features for the sake of pushing players to spend.

Its hard to justify an AFK game if you cant AFK consistently. Its frustrating to set up what you want your character to do only to check 45 minutes later to discover the app crashed as soon as you closed it. We dont want to play an idle game that requires us to keep it open to actually progress.

Its Just a demo and they dont state that until you make an account. Not paying money for an idler.

App restarts every 3-10 minutes. Apparently its too difficult to fix for IOS, so we just have to live with it.

Definite bug once we updated. Fix this. We cant save!

This is a demo version. Automatic 1 star for not disclosing.

Its just grind bars the game with 0 progression and no carryover between skills.

Doesnt tell you anywhere that this is only a demo, which is very limited, and you have to purchase the full game to enjoy the entire experience.

It was honestly an extremely fun game to pass time and do things in however the dev team has ceased to update or even work on the game it seems. 8 months and nothing added or anything. A true shame.

We never reach the actual game. We just get stuck on a Validating Purchases screen that never ends.

We’ve played this game on pc before and had no issues, though when we try to play on mobile, the screen gets stuck on Validating Purchases with the line circling the logo.

Melvor is undoubtedly the best idle game on the market. While based on RuneScape there are comprehensive guides for nearly any activity online easily accessible and there is never a moment wasted (unless you run out of resources for certain skills but that just requires attentiveness which creates an additional layer of game design) Overall the complexity of the game mixed with the numbers go up mentality our generation of gamers have, we truly believe Melvor Idle is one of the best games of its kind.

Amazing game, especially if you are a fan of RuneScape or idle games. There is a lot of depth and the devs are constantly updating it and have added lots of content in the time we have been playing. Ill be continuing to play this game for the foreseeable future!

Insta bought the game and expansion. Having a great time.

We love this game! Finally bought it plus the expansion which is amazing as it adds so much more content we didnt even know we wanted. One thing Id like to suggest though is to update the quick equip menu to include superior skillcapes. Ideally, if you have a superior skillcape, it should only show the superior version and not the 99 version. This would help so much instead of always having to switch back to our bank for it plus we dont like seeing the old skillcape that we sold still in the quick equip menu.

We literally play this version only we left RS3 for this game. We want to see a GE marketplace in game but the game is still newerish as of writing but honestly this is hands diwn the best version of runescape. Im a very loyal day one premium player. Theres so much to do and so much to progress but so fun, addicting and worth it. Graphics are simple but very smooth and gameplay and functions are always operational and up to date. Thx devs. Im a long term player and highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great simple mobile full on idle mmorpg game. Player base has been growing alot too so we cant wait for competitive pvp and GE to come out. What an incredible game. Ty so much for this. Been waiting years for a idle and mobile RS version.

Game works wonderfully and has very balanced mechanics overall. Very much worth every penny for the paid version.

We absolutely love this game!! Just right now since the 3.0.2 update our save will not load at all even if we wait 20 minutes. It just shows its loading.

We wish there was an update to s play or trade with other players.

The new expansion just dropped today and honestly for the time we’ve put in, with only a little bit of money, its the best bang of the buck we’ve ever purchased! We couldnt be happier supporting this team and all the hard work they put into this. Great game and great content for those of use who used to play RuneScape back in the day. The team constantly does updates based on feedback and with the new expansion its as if its a brand new game again. We know Ill be playing for a long time into the future. With a busy life this is the perfect pick it up in the morning and check it before going to bed type of idle! Thanks again for the fun!

We have played many idle games before. None have been able to surpass the variety of content that this game offers. Though it does come with a price for the full release, it is well worth the $10 for the base game. We’ve yet to reach the expansion content, but from what we’ve seen from goblin raid and the new town keeping skill, Im sure it wont disappoint. They also have mod support directly with a mod manager directly in the UI. And to top off they provide regular content and bug fixes through updates; all without a single micro transaction.

For the people that have played since the alpha versions 0.1-0.9 etc will we get the dlc for free? We have been playing since the beginning and it would be only fair we get the dlc free. If we have to pay, you may loose a lot of potential and current players. If we do get the dlc we(I)appreciate it. Hope to have access to it all. Also checked and our account is premium so can we assume our account would get the dlc? An answer would be appreciated as other alpha/premium account players may like to see the answer as well.
