Forced to flee her home, Alice sets off to find her only relative – her uncle – someone she has never met. We had found a similar game first before finding this one, but found it very frustrating because you had to wait a certain amount of time to have enough energy to be able to do any of the tasks. In our frustration, we searched for games that were similar to it and someone mentioned these games and they are amazing. They are exactly what we were looking for.

We found you through the Lost Lands series first. We recently finished the last one (10) and was so sad! Like one feels when finishing a beloved book but we discovered the Darkness and Flame series and am playing the 1st, so have more to look forward to Please, Please keep making this style. The scenes are an art form, and the collections add another whole level of fun. The puzzles are not so difficult to be frustrating. Overall, playing your games is one of the things we look forward to whenever we find a little time for ourselves. Thank you.
We really enjoy this style. Its not a wash, rinse, repeat type of game. It has an interesting fantasy storyline. The really great thing we like is the game actually has an end. It can always be replayed, has bonus games and some fun extras. In our opinion this style of game is good for exercising the brain with problem solving skills. Looking forward to the next game.

This was the very first Five BN game we played. As such, it holds a very special place for us. It opened wonderful worlds in all their games. Each one is a different experience with excellent puzzles, interesting graphics and short clips to help tell stories. The only downside is we finish their new game and impatiently wait for a new game to be released. So, we replay one of the many earlier games. Basically, we need to find tools, parts, etc., to open a new puzzle to move the game forward. The stories are engaging. We love these games and am so grateful to everyone who works on making them. Thank you.

Not sure how happened across this but Im so glad we did. Fantastic game, and best of all, its free to play! We found most of the puzzles challenging without being so frustrating that we had to put our phone down, lol. If we could give it 10 stars we would! :).

We really like this game this is our second time playing it.
Really fun game. Put together well. Hints arent necessary if you look hard enough. A good memory of each area helps, but you get 5 hints to start and can buy more if you want(again, not necessary to spend money, which makes this game even better). We definitely recommend playing it.

These guys never fail to impress! So many games of this genre and each one just magical! Such amazing stories! Always free to play, unless you want some extra help, and just the right amount of challenge! We will stick with you guys for the long haul! We have played HOGs, off and on, for many years now. Usually stopping because no new titles were out there or the ones that were, were too juvenile or just not interesting. Recently we came across Five BN games and decided to give them a try. We started with Lost Lands and completed that series. Next we played through New York Mysteries and now we are playing Darkness and Flames. We will say that Five BN games are the most intriguing, most interesting and most attention holding games ever. They are artistic, creative and have great story lines. We are 71 yo and play your games every day because they are challenging and make us think and remember the story line. Also we love the music and ambient audio and often pause in a world just to listen because it sounds so nice. It would be great if you produced a Five BN Sound Track. We hope you all hurry and produce more titles as we will soon have played through all the existing titles. Great work Five BN and thank you for your talents. Now, back to our game.
We listen to a lot of books on tape and by a lot we mean three or four a week. When Im playing games, we must be able to turn off the sounds within the game so it allows our book to play while Im playing the game. Some games are good at this not this one. Sometimes thats normal you just have to go in Turn off the sounds in options which we tried and closed it reopened it.
We have played everything available. When will new ones come out? We enjoy what is there but its hard to stay engaged when you played everything already.
We really love the game but we hate having to go forward for items to finish a level. We like the feeling of completing a level before moving on instead of knowing there are things left undone. Makes us get fed up and stop playing. Soon we will stop altogether.
Love the artwork, love the background music, love the storyline (what little Ive seen of it so far, anyway), love the quality control (lack of bugs), love the special puzzles, and Ive loved this sort of puzzle game for decades. The ONLY reason we didnt rate it five stars is the solution being so dependent on click all over the screen at random until you hit something thats active and now go back to where you already finished and click all over the place again. [Update: reduced rating to one star after giving up and looking online for a walkthrough. You have GOT to be KIDDING us. We couldnt even complete half the story while reading the bloody walkthrough! Without it basically telling us everything to do, we never would have got past the uncles house, and even with it youre stuck with an impossible puzzle in the underwater machine. What good is all that great artwork, great music, and great storyline if its essentially IMPOSSIBLE to ever see it without cheating? Sorry, but this is just too hard and too frustrating for someone whose IQ is only 160.].
On top of this game being enthralling, the developer has provided interesting games and challenges. We really appreciate the lengthy playing time and well developed story line. Love it.

We think we have found and played all your games. The stories are interesting; the graphics are wonderful; the animation is interesting pulling the story together; and best of all are the puzzles. The puzzles range from easy to challenging. When we find a clue but cannot pick it up, later we cannot remember which of the 15 or so sites we should go. We use the option to watch an ad to tell us where to go. That is very helpful when we get lost. We cannot wait for your next addition! Darkness and Flame was the first game we played. It has been awhile. The puzzles are still fun.
After completing all 8 Lost Lands we were afraid Id not find another game like it. We downloaded the NY Mysteries and Darkness and flames. Theyre both exactly what we were hoping for. Best bedtime relaxation ever.

We love adventure games. These games are always fun and good way to waste time. You dont need an internet connection so thats a bonus. You also dont have to spend money which is an even bigger bonus. We have played all these guys games so far and have never been disappointed. Also the graphics are great and the storyline is good. We hope they release more.

Went through all 8 Lost Lands, 2 Legendary Tales, & 3 of The Legacy series. This one has the best story & voice overs out of all of them. Great attention to detail with this game. Loving it.
We absolutely love these types of games.. After playing lost lands by the same company we were needing more and came across this game. Super fun and challenging with awesome scenery and detail.

Ive been playing the D&F series for hours every day ever since we found it. Its a really exceptional amount of free content with 0 unsolicited ads, which is a huge plus for us. The story isnt great and neither is the voice acting, but thats not really important for this kind of game. The environments are interesting and varied, theres also bonus levels that elaborate on the main story when you finish. The only critiques we have are that sometimes the objects you need to find, are blended to well into the environment and can make it challenging to tell whats background and whats part of the game. Additionally, the puzzles do get repetitive if you play multiple installments. Not all of the puzzle solutions seem entirely logical, but play enough, and you start to understand the games logic. This is the only free to download app Ive played in years that has zero unwanted ads. You have the option to earn a free Kent coin by watching an ad, but its optional, and not obnoxious, and the ads are only for other games made by the same developer, several of which we intend to try.

We played all of the Darkness and Flame episodes and also all of Lost Lands. These are by far the best strategy/hidden object games Ive played! The graphics are phenomenal, story line interesting and its just difficult enough but not so much that you get discouraged. The fact that when you click on something and it gives you information about that area to help figure out what to do is great. We have played a lot of these type of games and none of them compare to these. Please make more episodes soon.

Our husband and we follow this developer and love their apps. We play side by side on our IPads. It keeps us connected playing games, especially after thirty years of marriage. Gives us something to do as we get older and we talk all the time. Thank you developers, keep up the great work. They also do series that connect for a good story line.
Lots of interesting puzzles, and just the right amount of hints. Not too difficult; not too easy. Also, if more hints are desired and one does not have enough coins to purchase them, there is the OPTIONS to watch ads instead of being forced to watch ads or spend money. Its a win/win for both the player, the game company, and the advertiser. Great solution to an otherwise undesirable situation.
We LOVE this game! It really challenges your problem solving skills and memory! We play another game like this and you have to have energy to play the game. You either wait hours for it to refill or pay for it. This game lets you keep playing no energy needed! We really appreciate that.
