Honestly we thought this was going to be another copy paste td game, but we tried it and it was better than a lot of the mainstream ones like bloons.
This is the best tower defense game ever made and here's why: … We don't really wanna write a long review but the point is the gameplay is great the game is very long and fun and offers plenty of entertainment and good graphics are detail a lot of creative levels with many strategies now all that's missing is KR origins if that comes out on Apple Arcade we will actually quit our life and live inside our phone for the rest. If your worried it's just another boring tower defense game your right it's just another boring tower defense game but addicting and challenge only 0.01 percent capable of getting all achievements.
Im hooked. Wish the interface was a bit less clunky (menus get in the way and selection is hard especially in a pinch) but we still love it.
Developers/creators did a fantastic job. Not much of a mobile game player, but that has changed. Enough for us to actually see the company that made the game and what other offerings they have. Thanks.
One of the best strategy games Ive seen in a while. It is difficult and makes you think about tower placements at every level. We do suggest changing the troop tower and every tower for that matter. The troops are too weak until later in the game its self and absolutely are too weak in late game. We use them to stop the progression of the enemy so our strong hitting towers can do something. The problem is we have to put 3 or 4 of the troop towers and one or two hard hitting towers (usually archers, for the speed), and that was the majority of the game. We think there should be an option to have weak troops on every tower and on the regular troop towers have the option to have more troops and maybe tweak the damage because of how many troops there will be.
Been looking for a TD game other than Bloons. This definitely scratches the itch.

Downloaded this game while looking for strategy games and it is 100% our number one option. Really great game with no adds and amazing graphics. Funny animations, and 100% kid friendly.

Im not a huge fan of most big name strategy games, but this one really grabbed our interest and we were happy with it the whole way thru. Not sure if its only true of the Apple Arcade editions but we really enjoyed the economics of XP and things (there are no in game purchases plus the rates you accumulate coins and hero XP are so perfectly tuned. It really made the whole thing enjoyable when we would feel like we were about to be shaken down by some sketch-o app devs making us pay to play to get passed some ridiculously difficult level and find that wasnt the case here, we just needed to try a few alternative strats and, while it might be challenging, wasnt going to be stuck for weeks with constant reminders that we can just pay up and skip over this one. No, this game is awesome we think the devs have a great sense of humor too with the wooly mammoth that takes a dump when you click him. Hah.
This is the best tower defense game we have played and its completely free! Its too bad there arent many levels to it or we would have kept playing it.

Feels like the original just hope the difficulty doesnt go crazy like the previous arcade + versions of KR have been prone to do well see.
The game is well made but some levels are really hard that make you spend your gems we spent 250 gems and still didnt make it Ive played the level like 10 times. But in all its a good game.
Tower defenses are usually boring after a while. Additive. No ads version.
A tough tower defense game is hard to come by at times, but this game delivers a great experience. There was only one frustrating hiccup throughout the games campaign. (tip upgrade rain of fire to deal with the mummy summoners).

The game is awesome, but when you reach the last two levels, the game can get overwhelming and annoying, because you are rushing at exponential speeds. We rather have 20 challenging levels throughout, then the last two where you are overrun and easily overwhelmed. They can get overwhelming. Lots of strategies, surprises, lots of quick thinking. The key is to upgrade your buildings as quickly and as efficiently as possible in order to win.
The game definitely is one of the best tds games but after level 5 the game starts getting impossible. This game has good potential though if the pacing wasnt off.
We have six children and enjoyed playing this game initially. However, the deeper we got into the game, the darker it became. Women getting sacrificed into a pit of lava? Check. Necromancers and black magic and spells? Check. Enemies that reanimate and poisonous fumes? Check. We love a good real time strategy game and tower defense, but we would recommend not exposing kids to this, unless we want them to turn out like well, normal. We fully believe that dark magic, witches, necromancers etc exist which we suppose is why this game really hit home. Dark like reading the news. We hope the developer comes out with a family friendly version with the same engine. Not recommended for families of the Light of Jesus. Otherwise.. Well.. Garbage in garbage out. Sorry to say.
This was fun to play until you reach the boards with the baby spiders. And its not just a couple, it literally feels like HUNDREDS the way they start speeding down the trail.
Level 6 is WAY too hard we have tried 100 times to difficult to complete. But otherwise the game works great.
We play arcade games to relax and mess around. If a game requires us to go read forums to figure out how to win, then its not a relaxing game. Im playing on Casual difficulty and its still too difficult for us to want to learn. Casual difficulty should mean Im not good at strategy games and just want to just have fun.
The dude destroyers all of our towers before we can do any damage, we cant get enough gold to repair and we just die over and over against him. We loved the game until the point where it became unbeatable, where all we could do is fail.
This game just isnt for us hero keeps dying.
There nothing different from the original except you level up to gain heroes. Cmon.
Its not appropriate to name a bomb for a game Fat Boy as it is a mix of Fat Man and Little Boy, nuclear bombs which caused significant destruction of Japan. It seems par for the course judging by other reviews pointing out yellow skin, slant eyes with buck teeth.
Ridiculously unbalanced to the point of being unplayable.

Frontiers is really a great game! Its a tower defense game that includes combat and speed! Raise money by defeating enemies and using the money to your edvantage! We are in fourth grade! Well, enjoy frontiers.
The KingdomRush series was one of the first tower defense games Ive played and one of our favorites. It was awesome to play this + version because the last time we played KingdomRush Frontiers was on flash and on this version theres even things that they didnt include on flash. Plus it still provides a good challenge.

Its very fun to play. But Its hard.
This is a game with complex and active gameplay with a wide variety of gimmicks and enemies to make every level fresh. It has difficult decision making and can be played at all skill levels. The plus version does not add much but it does give all heroes for free. We consider this the best in the series despite the originals amazingness mostly due to rising tide having some of the best levels of all time. 5 stars! Hopefully the fifth one will be as good as this.
The difficulty spike encourages you to play at lower difficulties to get more stars for passive upgrades. Some heroes are massively imbalanced.
This is essentially the same version that you would find on Steam without any of the in app purchases. Its a welcome addition to Apple arcade as is a classic now for tower defense.If theres any new content for the + version, Im not seeing it. Id of liked to see a few more levels or variations of levels (different restricted towers modes) but cant complain as the game is still one of our favorite mobile games. The syncing works well between the Mac version and the iOS version,Although on occasion we found we had to reassign points to heroes. As a recommendation its best to play the later levels on casual until you collect enough stars to upgrade all your towers and some of the heros, then come back and play the game on normal. All in all, not much new to see but a blast to revisit.
