This is a great formula guys. Your tower defense clash royale game is good, just a bit repetitive.. This one never gets old. Would be great if could play online against other squads.
This is the first review Ive written and Im only writing it because this game is really really well made and game play is so fun. We were surprised this game was so good and fun. We thought it would be too easy or the mechanics would be too simple, but it has just enough depth and complexity for a seasoned gamer without making it too complicated for casual gaming. 5 Stars.
We absolutely love this game! The gameplay, the story, the music, and the animation are fantastic! Being able to actually play as a dark knight, an arcane wizard, a sasquatch, and others, alongside being able to play as the heroes from earlier Kingdom Rush games is BRILLIANT! The game is so amazing! The only flaws it has are that the game is so short to play with only four adventures (not including the tutorial), and that this game is an Apple Arcade exclusive for mobile players! The game is really fun and we wish we could play it without having to pay for Apple Arcade. This is one of your best games Ironhide, thank you for making this.

We have always liked strategy games and this is the best mix of strategy and luck. We wish there was more. An update to this game would be great. We feel like once we really understood how to play it got to easy. Dont get us wrong it is still very challenging at times but we wish instead of just normal and casual it needs a harder mode.
Been playing this game everyday for a while. The gameplay is easy to learn and its very fun. We love the arena mode but we've basically mastered the steps for every map. There is so much potential if they added new maps, bigger game modes, etc. Please come back devs! :(((((((.
This game is so good this is literally the best turned based game. Wish they added more content but it is still so good.
Just started playing since a long time and its a very good game. An example is that the art style and animation is very crisp and vibrant. The gameplay is also similar to a 1 player dungeon s and dragons game. Overall fun game.

Im a long-time fan of the Kingdom Rush Series. Ive been playing for years, and they are our favorites. We were really disappointed with Iron Marines; while this may seem like it is a movement in that same direction, given that it is turn-based and such, we think its a perfect balance between the two. Not many bugs, perfect for mobile, not pay-to-win like Alliance, great map, enemies, and not too difficult. Interesting, great lore, and overall 10/10.
This game might be best thing ironhide has ever put out.
We LOVE this game but we wish there was more types of knights than just Sir Gerald and Knight, and we wish in Krumthaks Dominion the knights that you saved in one of the fights that would join your party.
Possibly this studio's best. Would LOVE a long RPG from them. Would pay.

At first, we thought, RPG game: boring! And then we tried it. WOW we love it its so fun and so polished.
Took us sometime to get to know the system of the game as well as the character abilities. Once we did, we really enjoyed it. Can we get more content please.
We dont have any hesitation recommending this one – This is about as good as a turn-based RPG gets, especially on a small platform. The storytelling aspects are simple but entertaining, theres excellent art (this companys hallmark is beautifully drawn comic-book-style cut scenes, which are thankfully skippable when you just want to play), the battles are challenging, and learning which characters work well together is an enjoyable process of discovery. There are also too many well-thought-through side aspects to talk about in detail, but things like the dice-rolling mechanism (get one star and you win; all xs and you lose) is brilliant, and the inclusion of some hidden-objects challenges really add nice depth. And theres an arena-mode that lets you fight a battle without any overhead when you just want some mindless play time. If you like turn-based RPGs, Id bet youll love this one.
Im enjoying the game, even though its pretty hard for us even on casual. Id love a x2 option for the battles, because watching the orcs fight and go through each motion takes FOREVER. Just a suggestion.
Tough troll breaker charged straight through his bosses life crystal to attack our guy, broke the crystal which killed his boss. Then had a heart attack from him dying and died.
Its our favorite game they have developed. Only complaint is that there is no veteran/hard level.

We love this wonderful game , just reporting a bug tho. Sometimes it freezes up after a Barbarian animation, we think mainly when he zooms straight ahead, stunning enemies. Thank you for this great game.

This is a great game and very replayable, although we do want more. We hope it catches on and gets more popular so they can put more resources into it. Great game.
Great game but the fonts for Chinese Simplified seem too small compared with other languages in manu and story display. Consider fix this if possible.
Im having a lot of fun with this so far. Visually fun, good storyline, simple to play. It would be great to see some options for customizing characters added.
Whether turn-based or real time, strategy games are our wheelhouse, both in enjoyment and skill. From Civilization to StarCraft II (master league), we love a good strategy challenge and this game fits perfectly. Learning the minutia of the mechanics and mechanics tactics makes the difference between victory and defeat. Its tough. Its fun. On normal difficulty (the highest difficulty) we beat the first 2 adventures without dying. But the third one took us 5 tries to dial it in and complete it. Looking forward to diving into the next one. Highly recommend the game.
Please update or create a new game marine + junkyard type this was awsome but the maps are just too easy.

This game was so amazing we have enjoyed it for so long ever since it game out it has so much replayability and we continually find ourselves randomly starting a game and playing all the way through. We love the different characters and the challenge of managing your team as you go to the boss and we love the way a turn based game has so much thought to it and strategy and we never expected to enjoy it because normally we hate turn base strategy but THIS GAME HITS DIFFERENT.
One moment youll be choosing between your tank options consisting of the simple knight, the powerful yet vulnerable dark knight, or the offense oriented barbarian. Another moment youll be executing a strategy that you discovered yourself. Another moment youre rolling dice for skill checks (dungeons and dragons style). And yet youll be exited to do the same campaign again with its various battles and events with a different team of characters. This game never gets old, easy 5/5.
We see a in a lot of the reviews complaining about the difficulty of the game. The game is challenging but thats how games are, we completed all of the levels within 2 tries each.
Kingdom Rush is awesome and this new gameplay style is very fun. Its also incredibly challenging and rewarding. If you are wondering if its worth getting Apple Arcade just to play it, we recommend doing it or using a free trial.

Very challenging, but lots of characters makes it very replayable Unfortunately it only has 4 maps, and while each play is different, they end up being repetitive. If you are a fan of the previous Kingdom Rush games, you will see all sorts of familiar faces.
We love this game, the combat it good, the characters are all fun and have different abilities and mechanics. The boss fights are fun too, they are unique and difficult (except for Krumthak, that fight is easy) and we enjoyed them all. A lot of the fun is just making wacky parties and unlocking all of the achievements. The game is only missing 5 or six more campaigns but once you finish the game you can just test your skills in the arena. Overall, this is one of our favorite games and it is the first game we get on when we are bored. Hence the 5 stars.
A fun Apple Arcade game to play very challenging great way to past the time.
Game is amazing just needs more heroes, even without a whole quest line to introduce them. We could do arena battles forever and never get bored if there were more team combinations.

We love this game and we play it almost every day! Ive noticed in the last week or so that it is freezing up and we have to force quit. This has happened about 5 times – and it is really weird because it rarely happened until recently. We are wondering if its to do with the latest iOS update. Thank you so much for this wonderful game (and all your wonderful games).

Awesome game, only a couple complaints is that its not bigger. As well as theres no hardcore mode for those of us who like a bigger challenge. Add more worlds please.
This game is a little like chess. Its not about rushing headlong in. Its about proper positioning and understanding the strengths and weaknesses of each character. The more you play the more layers are uncovered. We only wish there would be more content created.
It's difficult if you start the game in normal mode because you're expected to understand the synergy between heroes to counter every enemies in this game. You have to pick your path and enemy to avoid versus magic users who can dish through your Dark Knight armors in two hits. However, once you pass the learning phase and unlock more skills for basic units, you can experiment with team comps to blast through every play with a different experience. Easilt spend 20 hours or more if you wish to max all the units levels.
