We absolutely LOVE this game! It is perfect to pass time yet challenging. We are currently on level 1,533 and after playing for so long we have a few comments. We wish there were different events that took place to shake things up a little bit. Seasonal events or something. To add on to this, the same daily events you do have are practically impossible to achieve because you cant beat levels consecutively due to difficulty so they are a bit pointless and underwhelming. We also wish everything wasnt so expensive. Many levels you cant beat unless you purchase items (which we understand) but a lower cost would be great considering you only get 5 lives and it takes 30 minutes to recoup 1 life at a time. It drags things out unnecessarily. 900 coins to refill lives? Its a bit steep. Overall we love the game just wish there were a few changes is all. Thanks.
Starting the game we had no ads at all and thought the pop up to get rid of them was weird then we hit some threshold and BAM an ad every level. The ads are longer than it takes to play the level. Totally not the diversion we are looking for. But we hit a level that was impossible, not hard, literally impossible. We had to destroy a certain number of crates by matching next to them. The problem was we had to destroy more crates than there were crates. We contacted support and the next morning we passed the level with ease though it would have been nice to get a thanks. shrug but thats why we gave 3 stars instead of 2. Thanks guys (and gals).
We like the game. Its just the right amount frustrating but this new update changed the layout and overall look and its gross.
Love the game but really dislike the new graphics.. Ive been playing for a long time and there have been a few graphic changes but this last is really geared towards kids.. If you want to do that do a kids version and but it back to the last graphics please.
Why in the world did you guys change the way you give awards for beating levels?? Passing 4 levels on a single attempt was hard enough but now its 10? The new look of the game is also not great, it looks like an 8 bit side scroller game. No longer a fan.
We love this game, Im on level 1570. We would give 5 stars but we have some complaints 1. The bonuses are disproportionately expensive. Winning a level awards 40 coins but boosters cost 300+ coins. Youd have to win 8 games to afford a single booster 2. The Jelly Carnival boosters get in the way. You should be able to choose where theyre placed. Ive lost several rounds because the boosters spawned in an undesirable place 3. Since level 1300 the game has been glitchy. The game hasnt been giving us our 40 coins after winning a level. Sometimes the missing coins will appear after winning coins from the daily spin or win streak, but not always. Also, some of the levels are beginning to repeat. Which wouldnt be so annoying if the levels didnt repeat so soon.
Havent played it long enough to give a rating of five stars. Still figuring out possible plays that yield results to reach goal.
We quit this game because when it shows you a new tool or feature, it forces you to play it even when we know we do not need it! Don't force people to use a tool they do not need.

The game is fun for a bit but if you have any type of colorblindness youre gonna have a very tough/impossible time completing levels after level 15 or so because they keep adding additional colored blocks and theyre way too similar for someone who is colorblind.
This game is fun to play. Challenging but not ridiculously difficult. The drawback unfortunately is that it tries tricking you into purchases by overlapping and popping up the purchase prompts where gameplay prompts are located. Really sinister. Thank goodness for the double click confirmation feature on iPhone. Easily would give it 4 or 5 stars otherwise.
This is a fun original new game. We love it. Its challenging. Try it.
To start, we REALLY love this game. The one mobile game ad thats actually delivered :) its so fun and delightful, with a nice puzzle element. Also, re: the levels being beatable, we have been able to play up to a much higher level (284) without a single power up! Sometimes it takes many tries due to luck of getting the right jellies. But certainly beatable. THAT BEING SAID, Id love if this game had some kind of unlimited mode, where you could keep dropping jellies to clear the board and would lose if the board filled up. Maybe with more colors or challenging blocks appearing if you need to make it harder. Id actually be addicted to this app if that was available. The jelly drop with popping lots of them is just so satisfying, and every time we win a level we wish we had a chance to try and clear the rest of the board. We think ad free is too expensive so we didnt buy it, but Im no expert on if its a fair price. We do really like this game so we may eventually cave :-).
Fun game for about a day, until the ads started, and we had to sit through an ad after every level of game play. No thanks, thats an immediate app deletion for us. Please make a version of this game that we can buy for a couple of bucks up front. The incessant ads absolutely ruin the experience.
If only we could play more than 5 times each 30 minutes.
We really enjoy the game and its really fun to play when we have nothing else to do. But we do think that there should be a mode where you can just keep on playing till you reach the top. Again, amazing game and we hope you take our advice into consideration.
The core game/levels dont use internet but you need an internet connection in order to open the app. We downloaded this so we could pass time on a flight and realize do couldnt even open it once we got off the ground. Ive also found that you cant play levels again once youve beaten them. You can ONLY play the level youre currently on and theres no way to go back and replay any levels you might have enjoyed. Pay2win isnt 100% needed but dang is it close.
We really like the game, but we dont really like the level system because it just feels like Im restarting each round (we know there are actually different requirements in each). You guys should look into making an infinity tab that the player can go to to just keep placing blocks then if they fill the area they lose.
Great concept for the game but considering winning a round is largely dependent on the blocks being dropped, its not uncommon to use up the five lives and then youre waiting another 20-30 minutes for a life. Your skill plays no part in what blocks are dropped and it takes so long for a life to regenerate. If youre ok playing 5-10 minutes and then waiting a couple hours to play, this is your game. If not, find another game and dont download this one.
Had a choice of watching videos for 3 moves, or buying 5 moves. Once we used the buy 5 moves, the watch video for 3 moves disappeared! Buying 5 moves cost 900 coins, so you could only afford to buy moves 1 time! Very crappy Drop Jelly.
The only free to play that rewards you for winning levels by making ads shorter. Want to get a block buster or a hint, watch the whole ad. Win a level and no ads. Im getting to where this is the only game source worth the time.
We love any game that is something a little different and doesnt force us to watch ads. At level 40 and have never been given a forced ad. Plenty of free power ups. Good game.
Fun Game, but theres no logic to winning because the Jellys are always random.
You can tell really want you to pay for powering up. We have played a lot but it becomes frustrating when there is no way to win these levels.
We were impressed at first, but then once we hit level ten, they started showing an ad after Every. Single. Level. Its ridiculous. Especially as quick as the levels are. We really enjoy the gameplay, but the frequency of the ads is way too much.
After the 10th level. Every level you beat has an ad after it. Games also very easy with little to no challenge.
Was a good game. But after every level an ad pops up and if you want them removed its $7.99. Thats ridiculous. Hopefully they fix the ad situation and then we may reconsider downloading again but for the time being its being deleted.
Love this game!!! Its so addicting and an amazing Challenge. Just when you think a level is Unbeatable, hang in there, we promise youll get thru it. Got to 1000, and so happy this game goes past that as most dont. We think since reaching level 1000, we should get some kind of Treasure Chest. And now Im at level 1025. Love this game.
You shouldnt ask for a review when people are at level 4. Havent experienced enough of the game to give an honest opinion.
We like the concept and its like a fun brain game, but we just hate how we have to do the levels. We wang to be able to play it nonstop without having to restart. We feel like that would be very very fun.
We agree with the other players that we have been stuck on level 345 for the past couple of days and it is not challenging anymore. There is no assistance or explanation on using extra power ups or whatever theyre called. We really enjoyed this game up until this level and Im going to delete this game because its not as fun it is too hard.
The makers of this app just want you to spend money on upgrades. Like all money hungry greedy app developers this game is set up to get you hooked on the play mechanics. Its a fun game until you reach level 30. Then it starts. You can beat the level if you play it multiple times. At which point you are out of turns and have to wait. Or you can buy upgrades that help you win. This uses coins in game. Thousands of coins. You earn a few as you play. But not enough. Real money must be spent if you dont want to play the same level over and over again until you either get lucky or get enough coins. We deleted it. This is not gaming.
We don't mind watching ads. But after level 10 tapping Continue runs an ad but without a reward. Forced ad after every level. No. We wouldn't mind paying to turn the ads off but if this is the devs' approach – no. Uninstalled.
Great game, but it seems like some levels are too hard and need a boost to be completed. Im on level 640 and it seems impossible with not enough coins and no boosts.
Ive been playing this game so much when Im bored and its really good at curing our boredom. Im on lvl 307 rn so yeah Ive been at it for a while. Our only complaint is that theres a lot of luck involved and sometimes the game just wont give you the right blocks for you to win so thats what we mean about luck. But other than that (and the creepy new app icon) its a really fun game.

This Game is a Joke with Fun BUT we LOVE IT we DONT understand why but hey its entertaining us so who cares.
This game is great and interesting and really fun to play, but Ive thrown everything we have at level 45 and still cant beat it, not because its difficult but because theres simply not enough jellys in the level to pass even when we use power ups.
We decided to try Drop Jelly as we really enjoy playing puzzle type games. The game itself is colorful and we had no technical problems while playing the game. We gave it three stars for the smooth play and the interesting gameplay. Unfortunately we will be deleting the game as having to watch an ad between every level seems excessive. We get the ads allow you to play for free but honestly we think having to watch an ad between every game is not worth it.
Just started with this game we like it, but wouldnt pay $7.99 for itthat is way too much. If you charged $1.99 possibly $2.99, people wouldd be more likely to pay. #greedy.
We really enjoy this game. Its straightforward, drop at your own pace, and has a good flow throughout the levels of difficult to easier to difficult again. Other reviews mention impossible levels, and while we agree there are some very tricky ones, we can confirm we havent paid a penny and have still gotten to Level 400 for free, which is great. We also appreciate that the ad option for additional hearts never seems to run out of ads like Ive seen in other games. All that being said..Im getting bored. Over the course of the last 400 levels Ive only seen the purple blocks on two levels (once in the 100s and once in the 300s). Based on the edit profile page, we know theres 12 colors total, so where the heck are they?? We understand spacing out the addition of new colors because it prevents it from getting too difficult and keeps people invested, but this is a bit excessive. Theres only so many levels we can play with the same 4 colors and the same repeating configurations before we get bored of the whole gameand we think Ive hit our limit at level 400.
SIGH. We have to protest this game now. What a bummer. Can anyone have an honest business.
Play a new game. Its fun for a while, until the levels are deliberately set up to be impossible to clear without spending actual money on power ups. They are, of course, already making money on ads, but no, theyre determined to soak you any way they can. Empty your pockets, or you dont clear the level. Theyll make sure of that. And no, you cant go back and play previous levels so you can still enjoy it. Once a game becomes more frustrating than fun for us, we delete it. Games are supposed to be fun.

Fun game. But there is no way to earn coins or the tools for help. So no matter what you would need to spend money. Ill see how it goes but right now Im disappointed as it is fun. **update Now you can earn daily coins plus watch videos. But the videos never change from earning 50 coins even though it has higher levels. No way to open those.
The ad for this game said that this game has no ads. However, once you download it, it tries to force you to pay $7.99 for the ad free version of the game. So the ad for this game lied about having no in-app ads.
We enjoy the game, but the Daily Rewards no longer works correctly. It only lets us play the first video that rewards you 50 coins. We cant collect any other rewards! And like others have said, its hard to collect and power ups. This is really annoying because no other game we play makes it that hard. We hope these issues are fixed soon! If theyre fixed, we will up our rating.
We understand that games do need some ads to be profitable. This game however has ads after every single level once you pass like level 7 or something. Devs caring more about money than people actually enjoying their game.
