We beg of you please add a version with no timer and please make the power ups more generous. Those few seconds are not enough. Come on now. Please move the play on button. Pressing it by accident is p!ssing us off! Wasting 900 coins on a few seconds is so annoying. Also make the play on seconds longer got less coins please. Some of the levels are almost impossible to do in the small amount of time. And again, 900 coins for 20 seconds of time is insane. Should not be more than 50 coins for 30 seconds.
What is the level at which you can no longer win without buying stuff? We hit it at Level 184. Fun until then.
We never leave reviews but we have to get this out. We love the game but we HATE the mother gecko feature, we know its a challenging puzzle but theyre so long and its all angled awkwardly. Genuinely hate that feature of the game.
When Im on level 23 we cant get the green gecko out. We dont know but its hard for us to get the green one out. And its making it hard for us.
Please make an option where we can play without the time limit. Also, please make it so that we dont accidentally use 900 coins when the level ends What good are the geckos with the scissors If they dont cut the ropes til the level is already mostly completed? 900 coins for 20 seconds is a lot. It should be no more than 50 coins for that little bit of time. We should be able to choose which geckos get cut short. It chose the easiest one.
This game has quickly moved from super fun and passable to nearly constant frustration. Levels that are shown as well normal levels are super difficult and the super hard levels take days. The levels with bombs are annoying and take forever and multiple sessions of using up all our levels. Its not fun anymore.
This game became our absolute favorite. Unfortunately, once we got to high enough levels, it very obviously became pay to win. The levels simply arent given enough time for the complicated puzzles. It makes the game incredibly frustrating and we simply dont want to spend anymore money playing it. We dont mind the occasionally payment to help support the game makers, but this is just excessive and so Ill be stopping this game.
At somepoint the time is so little that it is impossible to finish without either using support or making zero mistakes. Except when there is a lot of them the game can end up moving the wrong gecko in a weird position. It feels the timer is less intentional so you can buy coins.
The game is good and levels are still interesting at 550, but the time limit is what makes the game unenjoyable, the levels are already hard to solve and the time limit makes the game not fun. As well as an extra 20 seconds costs 900 coins while you get 40 for completion doesnt feel worth it.
Once you pass level 45, you cant progress without making in app purchases.
We like the game and would give it 5 stars, but if youre not paying close enough attention to the clock and time runs out it is extremely easy to hit the More Time button wasting 900 coins. So we give it because feels intentional. Most games have a confirm notice, but this game doesnt. Ive accidentally hit the button at least 10 times and its truly infuriating.
Our kids loves this so much that they are all ready in level 100.
Adorable. The little guys have very smooth and intuitive movement, its easy to control them where we want them, so good job coding! We have a criticism about the color of the holes not clearly matching the color of each gecko. We dont know why some homes have stripes when none of the geckos do. Id suggest adding a layer of patterns to more easily differentiate similar colors, this would also help appeal to slightly colorblind people. The levels get VERY challenging very quickly. Needs the option to toggle on or off the timed mode. All games are timed by default, and we need relaxing games while wrack our brains trying to figure out the puzzle. We aint the brightest lightbulb in the shed apparently, but the premise of the game is still adorable and interesting and we would like to play, too! But alas, not smart enough to progress past a certain point. Ads are unobtrusive, we appreciate that.
So annoyed! This game has been only giving 1 min to complete levels no matter if its easy or super hard. Im on level 1060 and for some reason timing for the levels have completely changed and it makes it impossible to beat unless you use coins for extra time.

We really like this game but we cannot get past level 110. We looked up a cheat sheet online because it got pretty frustrating and everyone elses level 110 looks COMPLETELY different from ours, making us believe its insolvable. This is very frustrating.
We love this game! That said we wish there were a couple of different options: 1. Casual Mode – no timer or much longer timers 2. A way to go back to already played levels – now that Im past level 700, we would love to replay those and try to beat our own times.
We love this game but some of the levels are near impossible. Its fun to figure them out but we would LOVE a pay option to have a version with no timer. We think many would be willing to pay for no timer.
We have just had to erase our previous review because the contact us form is ridiculous: app store URL? Game engine? Come on. At least we were able to give more stars for this review. The issue now is that when we have extra coins we can never keep them because when time runs out and our finger is swiping the screen the game plays those coins for us. This needs changed. You need to add another step (are you sure?) or move the option button to a part of the screen where gameplay doesnt occur. It is very frustrating to lose those coins when you already know the current game is a lost cause.
Okay, so this game is great really except for one huge caveat: they dont give you enough time. You have to use coins in one form or another to get through most of the rounds, at least the harder ones, and LOTS of them, so you end up needing to spend money if you want to keep playing.. We think thats lousy. Uninstalling.
Actually really fun but we cant ethically support an app that uses AI instead of paying artist.
We really liked this game until we realized there are levels that are impossible to defeat without using power ups. Deleted it and moving on.
Good game for sure. Some levels seem designed to use up coins and bonus tools or force you to try over and over memorizing the pattern to get fast enough to complete them. Not too often though. Im at level 200 and havent hit a paywall difficulty and we often have a free unlimited lives option available. Overall, while not perfect, its a fun game. Recommend.
The only option we have is to wait for more lives or purchase more coins. If you cant buy them with the coins like it says you have an option to buy more coins. If ur doesnt work the start with why would we buy more????? Love the game but Im deleting it.

This game is pretty fun, but we want a zen mode option without a timer. We cant always move so fast, and sometimes our touchscreen lags and we just get frustrated and give up.
We truly believe we are the #1 gecko out fan. We love this game. We play it constantly. Im on level 1,508 and still actively going every day. Sometimes at night, we close our eyes and play gecko out in our head to relax. Im addicted. Im obsessed. If gecko out has a million fans, we are one of them. If gecko out has a hundred fans, we are one of them. If gecko out has ten fans, we are one of them. If gecko out only has one fan, that one fan is us. If gecko out has no fans, that means we are no longer living on this earth. If the world is against gecko out, we are against the world.
You made the very hard levels a little too hard.
The game mechanics are fun, but the time limits on the levels becoming pretty restrictive in later levels. It takes away from the enjoyment of the game when youre rushing to play perfectly instead of just solving the puzzle.
Warning: this game is addictive. But unfortunately the developers have done the same thing that they did in Twisted Tangle. They place the play on button (thus costing you 900 coins) directly over the playing board. As soon as the timer goes out, you will, time and again, accidentally hit the button and cost yourself valuable coins. Remember, theyre trying to get you to spend actual money on this game, so in some cases a person may feel compelled to spend it in order to continue playing. It is so frustrating that we have quit playing the game for weeks at a time. But its also addictive, so we keep coming back. If the developers would SIMPLY MOVE THE BUTTON, this would stop. Otherwise, this is a nearly perfect game.
Fun, until you get to the point that beating levels without spending money becomes impossible. No option to start over from the beginning, either. Absolute gotcha game.
This game is fun, but it gets to the point where it is almost too hard and does not allow you to move forward unless you start to buy stuff and pay money to just play then it gets ridiculous. If we want to pay, we will buy something on our own we dont want to be forced to do it. It doesnt give you a daily reward so that you can make your way through the game. And it registers as a casual game, but its anything but casual.
We appreciate that it is easy to move the geckos and the frame rate is fast so the game draws you in and is really fun.
We were almost done then our tablet died and we were eliminated because we couldnt play, please fix this, maybe start the challenge over so we dont lose progress.
We started playing this game because the ad seemed really cute. However, all of the games are timed. And it is a ridiculously short period of time. You very quickly get to a point where it is impossible to win levels unless you use boosters. And of course, you have to pay for the boosters.
This game is great. Its cute, the graphics are solid, it doesnt crash, and it is well balanced between difficulty and rewards. There are ads but they are just annoying enough to tolerate, but theres also an option to go ad free if you have a lower tolerance. We acknowledge that there are a bunch of similar games out there – but we really like this one the best.
Im almost to level 800 and Im still enjoying the game. We like getting bonus coins for beating the champ time. We usually have to play a level about 6 times to beat the level. Now that the levels are harder we cant win the island challenge anymore. We also like beating other players past a few levels in a row to win some coins. Can we get a refund on our lost coins when we accidentally spend them on extra time? We were saving up to buy more time freezes.
Enjoy playing for a while until it gets insanely difficult. We do not like timed games. Early on you have plenty of time. Later, not so much. Plus some levels seem to require a power to solve. So it gets 5 stars for how original and enjoyable it is. Just quit while you are ahead.
Even when we click the option after every level to get a smaller amount of coins instead of watching a video, Im forced to watch a video. So essentially Im watching it but not getting any coins. This is after each level. Please reduce the amount of adds.
Theres only an option to compete within a timeframe. We just want to solve the puzzle on our own time. We really like this game but Im deleting because of this.

Actually, ditto to the reviewer who accidentally hits the button to spend !900! Coons for 20 seconds of gameplay!!! Super frustrating! Save save save oops! We were grabbing that gecko and the timer ran out so instead we wasted our coins on a nano second of time needed and when we could have bought 3 5-second boosters for the same price its kinda crazily frustrating. We have to remind ourselves its just a game and we should not throw our phone across the room . Everything else has an are-you-sure option, why not that.
We love this game but no options to watch an ad to continue after time expires. We wish it could provide more time on harder levels, or maybe not have use 900 coins to continue. 25 or 50 would be nice. We cannot afford to keep purchasing extended tries.
We got threw the this is how everything works levels 1-10ish and now the app wont open. Could be fun if you can get into it. Not worth trying to fix it ourselves.
We love the game but we dont like how the levels are timed bc theres some levels that dont give you enough time and we hate the ones with the bombs bc sometimes the seconds on the bomb timer does not give you enough time to get to the matching color in time before it explodes.
Repost! We kept the game out of curiosity. Im at level 305 and Im getting very frustrated with the timer and the puzzles. U need to keep adding coins to bet simple levels. We are afraid to update.
His game is a lot of fun and we have found ourselves addicted and even put money towards it. However, you get so little for what you put into it. Its very pricey to buy the extra coin.
We used a few help items to get through the level but a gecko needed to get to a hole above where it is however the gecko could only move left to right.
Its fun in the beginning but then they put in so many obstacles its impossible to beat them and its hard to get any power ups free the game is a complete money grab theres no option to get ANYTHING free other than lives when you runnout.
Game has ridiculous low timers that force you to use coins to get extra seconds, have to remove ads and spend real money realistically to beat some levels even though technically every level can be beaten without, as long as your brain is an AI. Updates lower timers and debuff power-ups, we know this for a fact because ive watched some tutorials where clocks have 1:25 seconds but we get 1:00. Play Slime hole out which is the same exact thing but you can choose to watch an ad to ad 30 seconds instead of paying money for every little thing. So angry at ourselves for the obscene amount of money we let this game take us for. It was perfectly developed if making money was the only goal. Just addicting enough to want to play but way too hard to have a chance and most of the levels especially higher up. Also they add season passes that expire before you can get to the final reward unless you turn this game into your life.. Disappointed such a fun concept just completely ruined by greed.. Could have easily made money without the dirty tricks.
