Such a relief to have a good game that doesnt bombard you with ads.
Really fun its a make you think also we like saying the game name it a deep voice like FORTRESS OF GEARS.
Theres really no reason for a game like this to have two songs that hit so hard but it does. The game mechanics are interesting for tower defense game and it doesnt overly bash you with ads like a lot of other games do. There are of course ads, but not as many as Ive seen and you get to choose if you want to watch more ads for small benefits. Its a fun game and we found ourselves playing it a lot lately.
Love this game! Only thing we dont like is when you go to check out something from an add you are watching and you go back to the game it starts the level over! Several times we are on 11 out of 12 or the final level usually the 12th and we have to start over again! If this could be fixed we would have no problems with it.
So fun and the best game because its hard.
Doesnt immediately shove ads down our throat, its also amusing to play.
The games great, but it desperately needs balance changes. The enemys big troops do splash damage, when your teams big troops dont. This makes it incredibly hard to beat them.
The game seems fun. Im only a little bit into it. There doesnt seem to be any documentation, pop-ups, or much of any training mode. Its sort of hard to figure out what the different gears do.
If you are going to have ad rewards, please make sure the ads work. Im willing to pour ourselves into a phone game and click ads all over the place. These haven't worked a single time we've tried. We like the game a lot other than that.
We get its a time waster but to beat the levels you have to watch a million ads, either you play the same level 20 times to level up or you watch an ad to even have a chance.
Game is fun, but heavily reliant on ads to win. We dont mind ads, but holy moly 1 min + and extra 15 seconds for 1 ad? Seems a bit much. Game would be a lot more fun and have more play value if ads were kept to a 30 second TOTAL or give the option to buy out the ads feature. Let us know when this changes and we might pick up the game again.
This is a solid enough game. Its core is good and the mechanics are somewhat unique, even if what they actually do isnt that impressive. Im deleting it because if we leave the game for a few seconds to message someone, for instance, when we come back Im no longer in the level and we have to restart entirely. Im not into that.
Ah yes, 1-4. Should be peaceful, should be nice for a first world. NOPE, BIG ARCHER WITH 150 hp who snipes anyone and align with this has insane knock back. Yeah, seems cool for someone who has archer and soilder.
While the game is very fun to play and its soo nice that the ads are at your discretion for help mostly. The thing that kills this game is sometimes switching without closing out to another app can reset the game and completely reset the progress of the level. If there wasnt that issue this game absolutely would be a 10/10 for us. But the progress killer cause Id leave to respond to a text or something kills the enjoyment immensely.
Its a good game and we really like it but sometimes it crashes and gets rid of the upgrades you just bought in the game. It refunds you your gems and coins but takes away the upgrades.
This game would be great if it didnt freeze. Its aggravating and it kills our battery. Fix it and Ill keep playing. And it will get a higher rating. Too bad we can show pictures on here, the way the king can move across the middle of the board and not take damage is really disappointing.
The game is great and thought out well but the only complaint we have is the enemies. The enemies get in range to attack quicker than we do so with a big enemy or the boss, it becomes basically impossible to do any good damage. Id like this game more if the enemies were just a bit slower so that the infantry can get at least one hit in before they die.
The game is really fun, a good time killer, but as you progress there are way way way too many ad unlocks. We understand that youve got to pay your people, but putting frozen gears on the map unlocked only by ads or round selection gears as ad unlock only is really annoying. We bought the mid-tier ad ticket option (we think it was 50) but as we progressed it seemed like we were getting fed even more ad blocked items! We would love to be able to get a pass or something that would permanently remove ads or not have so many ads locked items pop up in the game. Hopefully you take the $8 we gave you and make a game thats not just a money grab.
It is a fun game, not that much of a challenge honestly. The problem is that they will not give you a second attack option often, but always offer if you watch an ad to begin the round. Then, they will have levels that can't be beat without watching an ad because they blocked a spot next to the engine. 2 stars because of the forced ads to win.
The gears being frozen and unlocked by ads are annoying, it slows things down and you are forced to either deal with it, or watch, or the ads on the items you can afford is awful, why put an ad on this archer when we can buy it normally? The big guys knock back is too much, they knock you back and before you can hit them, they knock every unit back again, either change their range or nerf the knockback.
No game save if you have to step away, wasted energy due to this. Cant make suggestions from the app/contact the creators thru any email in settings like all the other apps. Game gets boring if you watch ads, stomp enemies too easily. Good art, just poor design for mechanics and technical support/contact.

Tried to use app. App doesnt work. Go to dev website to submit issue. Dev website doesnt work either. Makes sense now. Hope you enjoy the game itself which is fun. But apparently their dev AND web team both cant get their product to work.
This game is fun but you have to play24-7 and if you r questioning why we rated this 5 stars is just so it can pop up here.It loses all your progress every like, month unless if u just sit there with it on the ENTIRE TIME FOR A MONTH but it runs your battery and who has time 4 that.
Solid game honestly easy to learn it fun to play it just dont use 4 of the level 8 gears and like 6 other things on the field and your fine.
This game is great and you should totally download it, but the game has two quirks we dont like.1 is that you can only use your super ability ONCE for the whole game! The second problem is that by chapter 4 quest 6 it becomes impossible even with our best troop, the armored wolf rider! Also, the giant characters on the other team are to powerful with splash and knock back, so even if you use your super it only does a fraction of its health, meanwhile we can one shot it with our giant troops.
Good game we enjoy it. Would really appreciate a back button or an undo button because we keep accidentally merging two gears together when we want to keep them separated sometimes. Other than that no complaints.
Fun game but just took over 20 minutes to do the final wave of 4-1 we had 4(8gear speed) 1(2gear speed) archer sword spear 1 each fireball lightning potion special knight 1each a 1.5x and map had 2 spinners our troops were so many that there was no visual travel road anymore and frame rate was less than 0.01fps.
It only took 3 different troop gears and a bunch of tier 4 gears and the game ended up running at 1 frame per maybe a minute, we also recorded it if you want to review the footage for some bug fixes, we would recommend putting a limit on how many units can be present.
The puzzle aspect is interesting, the gameplay is good, but by 4-4, so many units are generated that the wheels are down below 1 rpm, rather than the roughly 15 rpm of start of level. We wind up setting our iPad down and watching TV.
We like how you can watch ads to get stuff and how this game is about war.
We downloaded this game from the ads, expecting something else. But when we opened the app, it was exactly like the ad we got! Not only that, that gameplay in intriguing.
Overall a really fun game but our progress has been reset twice, quite disheartening.
This resets all our pregress and everything we earned everyday and we always have to start back over all the way at level 1 everytime we open the app what is the point of playing if its always resetting to zero everytime the game is closed! Its an externally fin game if it kept our progress and levels.
This game looks fun but needs some work. The balance is not good, the wolf rider is so much better than any other unit, and the ranged units have a tenth of the health of similarly leveled melee units, making them get one shot by literally everything. They should have like half the health of their melee counterparts. The one-time unit gears are really bad, as they spawn once and die quickly. Those gears should be changed so only one of the special units can be on the screen at one time, it should refresh once they die. One time we were using wolf riders and they pushed an enemy off the track and onto our gears. It then walked offscreen and we couldnt finish the round. If you get the right luck you can lag out the game without even watching any ads, you just need two or more unit gears and a multiplier gear, plus a couple 8 gears.
Whenever we get a text or have to leave the app if Im in the middle, or just started, a level, it kicks us out of it. And still uses up the energy!! Why cant it save for like 30 seconds.
Log in to play and it starts from the beginning? How did everything get wiped?? We uninstalled Im not starting over.
Best offline game, you can win it without watching any adds so you can finish With bo forced adds.
1 hour in we got gears and boosts to get 30 units a second on two towers and it put our phone at 1 fps and took us 20 to beat the last level. 10/10 would recommend.
A lot more fun than a game this simple should be.
If you get too many on the board at once it lags very badly.
This is a great game. We just recently unlocked daily challenge, however we cant play the daily challenge, there is no option or button for it on the daily challenge screen. Edit: we reinstalled the game and can now do daily challengers.
We love the game so much the concept is amazing but today we got on and all our progress was deleted.
It could definitely use longer game play.
We are liking the game but part of the screen is covered up at the bottom and in the menu you cant see the buttons to buy new troops.
We had put a lot of time into this game and it erased all of data. Which in itself is not the end of the world but every time we rebuild our stuff it erases the data again.
It is a great game we just had a problem when we were playing it the next day everything reset and now we have to redo everything.
The game is good but the player we can only unlock the first three.
You should add a limit for how many units can be on the map because Im getting less then 1 fps with over 2000 friendly troops on the map.
We love this game but today it reset and Ive lost everything, including the $10 we paid to speed the play up. Nothing will restore. Very disappointing.
