We see that a lot of people say the controls are bad, honestly, we would recommend calibrating again if the controls feel bad, we dont see too much of an issue we have seen much harder controls on similar games. Also, the game has much less pay 2 win than the original and better graphics as well as loadout customization. We do think that a problem is that planes can take way to many hits which sometimes is a bit boring. Overall this game is great and we strongly recommend it.

Its so absolutely satisfying to shoot down an enemy Plane and you hear the Pilot remark, Gottcha! Try playing this game with headphones, or through the Speaker in your car…A real treat for the ears! The only downside we can say for this game…its Canpaign is just too darn short! We mean, there is definitely replay value with higher difficulties and new challenges to unlock, but we just wanted the adventure to be longer, didnt like to see the fun end so soon! Other than that…this game is worth Every Penny! So Buckle Up and prepare yourself for a Gut-Busting Good Time.
We love this game so much and we wonder why you dont have the grumman Hellcat plane. Can you add it.
But we wish it had the dauntless or the helldiver dive bombers and we wish they had like the first game were you can see the wings a don engines and we wish the our add a bomber sit for he-111 and b-25 because it gets annoying to drag your screen.
The game is very good if you ask us. The graphics are good and so are the planes. We wish there was more heavy bombers. We also wish there was more missions in the campaign. We had a lot of fun playing it. Overall we think its a great game. PS It deleted our progress like 50 times and we had to start over.

We would give this 5 stars but theres not enough companion mode here are some you could do the b Mitchell raid, and D-DAY if added those or different ones that would be great and we would give 5 stars.
Great game but cant keep playing because the custom mapping for the controller keeps resetting all the time. This is so frustrating, please fix this bug guys.
Okay, so, we love this game, its a break from the free simulators and beta-ish tech demos currently available, but its not insane. We feel that there are a few ways you could improve. We find it odd that the rudder functions on the ground and turns it without any movement. We've seen simulators like this, where instead of using a simple equation (forward velocity turn Speed rudder angle) give or take a few values, and instead add whatever general rudder turning that it would have at maximum speed no matter what speed it's at. Its odd that something paid, made by Atypical, and designed with a "simulator" mode (which, we might add, we were using when we noticed this), would have this glaring issue. We hope this is either patched or at least changed in simulator mode.
We love this game and loved the first one too our only problem is that the screen bounds make it so that there are black bars on either side of our iPads screen. If you could update this that would be great.
The mission are lacking as all the sky gamblers series, not as existing as the original WWII sky gambler. The fact that gun auto aims is a big downside.
There are bugs, 1. It is easy to cause confusion and loss of control of the steering direction, and it can only be restored to normal by switching the angle of view. 2. Multiple devices cannot log in with the same id, Why the game progress is not automatically saved Does not support ipad full screen.
When we pressed "load" – the app dropped us from level 6 to level 4.
Pretty, promising, but too flawed to stay on our phone. Controls are just about unusable in any mode. Im sure others have conquered the unnecessarily steep learning curve to control this beast, but it just doesnt have to be this difficult. Thank you for adding moderately recognizable physics, but now please let players use them with a joystick (and not the casual junk). Going to let this one sit and hope theres an update that gives more palatable control options.
The game crashes every time we start it up.
The planes are too difficult to control, compared to previous game.
Love this game super fun graphics are great, physics relatively realistic, and the weapons and the planes are all great. With that being said lets go to the issues; the worst of all would be that somehow this app can overtake your entire phone, and by that we mean your phone will lock on Atypical games. You are allowed to turn off your phone, close the app, or even view the apps that you swipe down to see. Along with that you cant power off your phone! You just have to kill your battery by any means possible. The first time this happened to us we totally thought our phone was hacked. Please fix this problem.
For some reason when we bought the game it just wont work and it kicks us out. Fix this.
We really do think there should be an ai vs ai last man standing or ai vs ai team death match but both have to have to have a camera where its not likeSpectating camera its like a movement camera.
Your need b17s mores jets also lwo Jima or Berlin. And a Japanese Betty bomber and a hellcat and amazing game this is the first game that Ive played and get everything l like..ps for campaign you should do both sides of the battle and do the famous bomber raids on Berlin.
All this needs is some more bombers and slightly more accurate .50 cals, maybe a p-39 airacobra.
Add the B-17 bf 10 hellcat wildcat.
This game has great graphics and gameplay.but can you add italian/romanian planes like you did in storm raiders 1.also can you add the horten ho 229.
This game, to us anyways, is much better than SG SR 1. Pros: Absolutely gorgeous graphics Decent campaign Great plane selection Free plane customization Not too challenging, but not too easy either Cons: Graphics can drain battery pretty fast Campaign is only 10 missions Not a whole lot of players online, but there are some Historical accuracy for ships at Pearl Harbor is bad Planes appear larger at a distance, which can be disorienting. Please note a lot of these are just us nitpicking at all the little problems, it is a great game! Recommendations for future updates: More missions would be nice, maybe some more for the USA like the battle of Midway or Normandy. (definitely would like more missions for the pacific theatre) we would like to see more planes in the future, maybe the Horton 229, Hellcat, PBY, or maybe even the legendary B-17 Flying Fortress! It would be nice if you could write the nickname of the plane on the nose of the plane, like the Memphis Belle or Old Crow. So, in conclusion, if you want more missions and less great graphics, go for the original. If you want amazing graphics more than missions, Id definitely recommend this game. P.S. We were not paid by Atypical at all for this review. This is solely our opinion. Sorry for the long review, and thanks if you read the whole thing.
This game is amazing. We play it a lot but there needs to be more campaign levels added because there is only a few and you go through them fast.
Great game. Well worth the $$. Online is fun but you do need all the planes to not get smoked by others. Wish the missiles had more effect Great community… Wish they put game on sale to get new people on line Overall. Great game… Just needs a bit more investment and attention.
Beautiful, AFFORDABLE combat flight sim, way better than War Wings in the affordability dept and really most every other regard. With achievable and free plane upgrades the gameplay is as fantastic as in the first SGSR. But one problem- when we log on we usually only find a handful of other players…does nobody know about this game or what.

We love this game! Its so amazing and fun the graphics are better than the first!!!!! But in the original everything or every plane had the bf109s seriess of planes cockpits for some reason the only thing that makes since is that the plane has the same wings as the same plane but it this version you didnt even add the wings! Its fine just please make a correct cockpit for every plane please take your time.Also in the original the Pearl Harbor map is perfection so is this games but we were test flying our he111 in new paint when we saw a STUKA DIVE BOMBER WITH German markings! On the plane! This is controlled by America why did you do that we hope it was a mistake please scratch that out its ridiculously weird and just well ridiculous. P.S. This is still a great game.
We love this game because, well, you guys finally added bombers that you can fly yourself! Without having to fly with the AI bombers. Also, you added rear gunners that can actually shoot! We love how you can play offline too.
We liked battle supremacy we like this one better. The graphics are the best Ive seen in a flight game.
Whaaa whaaa its the same game we bought last time only different. We want it to be something its not! Seriously these reviewers need to get out of their Moms basement and design their own award winning franchise. Until then – and before then download anything else that might offend easily – have your parents make the entertainment purchases.

This game is cool but were is the b29 b25 b17 please make a third version of the game with these planes please sky gamblers.
Its a shame to have such beautiful graphics when you cant enjoy the dogfighting. We spend most of our time trying to get into the action. All enemy planes just look like little dots as they fly past. If you want more players you have to slow it down so that you can get more than just a passing shot at the planes.
Overall this game is well made with amazing graphics and realistic shooting, but the only thing that bothers us is that when you enter first person mode you do not see your wings on the side of your plane like the previous sky gamblers. If you are a developer seeing this review, we would appreciate it if you could implement this detail into your game.
Love the game and the modes but we think you guys should make a mode where you escort bombers to its destination. Just a lil idea we though of.
The Casual Control Pad should have an option to lock the accelerometer, having to constantly press the accelerate button constantly whilst flying is an annoyance, the planes are wonderful and the variety of which is outstanding, the new painting mechanics are so awesome being able to change the roundels and insignias is great as well but all this is discounted with the controls not being as fluid as the Original Sky Gamblers Storm Raiders Casual Control Pad.
We like this game but we do have a few problems. First we cant stop laughing about how the spitfires front looks lie tigger from winne the Pooh. And the controls are meh and the hienkel sounds like a car. And over all its an okay game.
It needs more campaign missions and maybe some nerfs/ buffs to some planes in the game as some are far too overpowered planes in multiplayer matches that can shred you in under a second, if more missions are added and there is some nerfing and buffing Id give it 4.5 stars but its still fun and entertaining.
This game is not as good as the prequel. There should be a campaign with an actual storyline like in Cold War.
The render distance, because we find that annoying when we see a plane, but it renders as if its tot in front of us, only to find its far away. Maybe a graphic setting s page would be nice.
We absolutely love this game. We really do. We loved the first one and this one is even better, but it burns through our entire battery life within about 30-45 minutes. Thats pretty much our only complaint. But other than that, great job on this game.
Good game but it can have more campaign missions if this is still being made. Its basically ace combat ww2 if you into them. Overall good plane simulator.
Overall we really enjoy this new addition to one of our most favorite games, below are some compliments and some complaints Pros – we really love the improved graphics, the ones from the last game were still good but better here – the cutscenes are more in numbers, sync and explain whats going on – the new levels are just what we bought for this game, although we were hoping for a new campaign or two. -the music was incredible Cons – we found the controls a bit strange even with the control pad. We could only accelerate and shoot (speaking of which, now we only have one gun to use) without steering which was awkward. – we liked the voiceover but if you would be shot at repeatedly, then his same voice would repeat over and over.
We enjoy the game its not exactly white knuckle action but still very enjoyable some stuff to add and fix is whenever a plane makes it to crash into the ground or water it phases into the ground instead of causing an explosion or splash. Some more stuff could be added Id Japan map or maybe a Berlin map planes that could be added are gruman hell cats, sbd dauntless, g4m more bombers just in general. So in conclusion this game in enjoyable but could use more work.
Good multi player online gameplay however you will kill a 100% charged battery in no time if youre not plugged in. Also, takes a super long time to build up enough money to upgrade your plan after running through the very short campaign.
