Community Insight:

So great, we wish more people would play it we cant even play the multiplayer because barely anyone plays.

We just rediscovered this classic. It still looks and plays great. Its a perfect blend of relaxing but engaging game play.

How is this game still so unbelievably good after all these years crazy on the latest generation phone.

Theows us back to elementary when they had apple macs in class why havent they made nanosaur 1 yet.

Ive been playing this game since we got our first iMac, when we saw that it came pre-installed. On Macs and Apple TV, there is a 3D version that works great with the appropriate 3D glasses. There are not any adds, its always free. There are not many forums for this game so you have to hunt for and map the stollen eggs on your own while avoiding velociraptors, pterodactyls, giant sand worms, mounted guns and droid lasers. The game music is great. We play this game to both be challenged and to relax. We would give 5 stars if they would update to allow gyroscopic flight control with game controllers other than the Apple TV remote. Using a keyboard or controller works very well. This is a great game that really deserves a modern update.

We played the first Nanosaur a bunch as a little kid and really liked it. It was very simple but we loved dinosaurs and the gameplay was good enough. We never played Nanosaur 2 until now, but we would say that it is the better game of the two. The gameplay is just a bit more engaging since you fly in this one and have more to interact with. The frame rate for this version is super smooth on our 2020 iPad Pro and the gyro controls arent too bad. The game also looks very sharp to us. Heres where it falls on its face though The camera literally makes us sick when we try to play this game with a controller. When you turn in any direction, the camera will pan toward that direction, and it does that movement quite quickly. That means that whenever you make a quick adjustment to dodge some trees or any number of other things that youre trying to avoid, the camera kind of jerks around in this crazy way that is super difficult to look at after very long. Anyway, great game, awful camera. Please fix that Pangea :D.

Nanosaur is the coolest original mac game and its sweet they apped it. The game is a thrill! Compelling game and fantastic gameplay but you get dizzy. We can beat a level but in in-order to save any of your game progress you have to beat two levels at the same time. They are tough and semi long, thats our setback about the game. Ive always wanted to make it through and discover more of the story. We infrequently play and always anticipate beating it next time.

The accelerometer flight control is amazing, as is the soundtrack. We replay it all the time and try to win in different ways, for example snatching the eggs without destroying any enemies or never using the jetpack burst or trying never to take any damage. This game is fantastic and a classic, we only wish for more levels and also please release the first Nanosaur, too.

We've played Nanosaur 2 for years on the computer. We recently found it was available for IOS. We purchased the game for $3 and tried it out. It does the original computer version justice! We look forward to getting as much out of this version as the computer version. Excellent game.

We are having fun on the last level but can't find the last red egg and found ourselves wondering where is the original nanosaur we were just curious if it is on the App Store or pc or something.

What could be better than flying dinosaurs? Flying dinosaurs with laser guns.

We enjoyed this game on the iPad, but with 3D TV support on AppleTV, it is really incredible.

This is only the second time we've reviewed anything but this game is really worth it. It's nearly perfect -the graphics are stunning but the gameplay is even better -we own over 500 apps but this one is staying on our iPad! Thanks! (if we could shift anything at all it would only be to make it slightly easier).

The gameplay is awesome! There should be more games like this. Very challenging but hours of fun for the kids too.

We have owned this game for years and love it. It is great on a 27" Mac in 3D. However it is Absolutely steller on an iPad because of the accelerometer. Best of all if there is a better flying game out there on or for the iPad we would be greatly surprised.

This is the best game that we have played and we wish there was nanosaur1 available. Anyway they need more games like this, buy this game you won't regret it. But they need to add more levels 3 levels isn't enough.

While this game takes getting used too, it's very fun. We finished it a few times. Tip: the calibration button is your friend. Use it. Remember, if your fast with the accelerometer, the bird will do wonders. Take out the enemies trying to kill you, conserve your HS missiles and learn to use all your weapons because you'll live longer. Collect fuel and use it as well as weapons, lives, etc. When you recover an egg, get to the worm hole fast. When your attacked, go on the offensive.

We enjoy playing this game. We just wish there where more levels to this game. Thank you again.

We've always enjoyed the gameplay and storyline behind this game. We keep coming back to it once a year or so.

Best flying game hands down and thumbs up.

We love this game and we played this before on our desktop! One question though, where is the original "nanosaur"? We remember there was an one which you control the raptor and shoot at the t-Rex. Please make "1" available on iOS too, pleeeeeaaaassssee.

We love this game so can you update it by add new games and new levels.

This game was installed on one of our desktop macs many years ago. We had a lot of fun with it, using the keyboard as a controller. Kids are grown up, and so is Nanosaur. It's way more fun on an iphone, tilting the phone as the controller. Didn't think we'd still be playing it, but it's hard ro stop.

An excellent port, but not worth 3.99. Should have a control scheme other than accelerometer, as that is our least favorite control method. Add another control scheme and we can see it being worth that for fans of Nanosaur 2.

Add more Dino's to play as.so pleas update.

We like this game but it won't allow you to save during a level. Even save points would make it better. Implement that and it's five stars. Don't buy this game unless you like restarting from the beginning a lot.

We love this game when it came out and we still so. Keep up the good work guys.

Been playing this for years and it holds up well. Still find ourselves drawn in when we start it up after a long layoff. Really enjoy the racing game when we can find someone else to race against. Great on the desktop, great on the ipad. A perfect game.

We love this game, and we love explaining the concept to people even more! A pterodactyl with a laser jet pack, who'd of thunk.

Don't miss out as it uses accelerometer perfectly-GREAT.

This game makes full use of the iPhone/iPad potential. A pleasure to play.

This game is awesome it was a lot of funny on the computer and still just as fun on here.

…we disagree completely with reviewer who says it's hard to control on IOS. We can't imagine playing this on a desktop. It's based on IOS tilt, etc. Very smooth, would love more levels though. No updated levels in years.

Good graphics and action but still put a raptor with a gun for the enemy and a T-rex with a canon and a good raptor with a machine gun.

We loved the computer game, we still love the iPad/iPhone game. We have been a huge fan of Pangea for a long time. Great game.

Awesome! Great game also a bit of a challenge and we like challenges. Totally worth the 4 bucks. Definitely get it.

So will you please add new dinosaurs like be a land dino and like have more than just Velociraptor's and those big Dino's that just walk around like cant you people just add new Dino's to be as and have the same Gun thing on back and new Dino's,and flying Dino's alright?,so please add this in new update ok thanks! :).

Can you guys also make Nanosaur 1/Nanosaur Extreme available? Because this game is awesome. NANOSAUR 1.

We love this game! We love animal sim games, and this is a great Dino simulator! We wish there were more 3D animal sims in the App Store.

Can you make the worlds easier because we can't pass level 2 because the volasarapters they take a lot of damige and the blazers could you make more skins to your Dinosaur like blue green red black and can you choose your dinosaur.

Make the adventure mode easy. We can't get the eggs because the velociraptor's and the giant shooting robots.can you make skins for your nanosaur.and can you chose what dinosaur your nanosaur is. If you can make this update.

It's really good but the controls are too hard to control. Other that controls it's really good.

Wish the experienced people would battle. We love the battle game but no one plays when we do. We've tried it many different times of the day and night and no one is on. Also you need more challenges in finding the eggs in the three different levels. We know where they all are and where the dangers are. When will you create a 4th more challenging level? We wish the bird view could see a wider range while flying like real birds do. Its all straight ahead and we have to weave back and forth to see from one side of the landscape to the other. It would make more fun if we could see a wider bird's eye view. The smoke makes it difficult to see directly in front. We usually drop into water to change the color to clear which helps if water is nearby. Should make more options to get out of the smoke than the red cross. Also we sometimes touch the extra bird icon and don't get an extra bird.

Been playing this game for a while but on the 5c, the bottom buttons are almost completely off the screen. This makes it unplayable. The support web site needs a place to file issues.

The best application . You can fly with it.

We love this game. So fun and cool and graphics are great. But it's a little too hard. Can there be just a little less lasers? And in level 2, on a hill there is a force field power up. When we fly up there, Nanodactyl doesn't grab it. And the stupid nano-raptors keep taking our eggs. Too hard.

We used to play the heck outta this game a long time ago. This brings a lot of nostalgic memories, this is just awesome.

Multiplayer shoot your friendswith dinosaurs.

After hearing that Nanosaur 2 had been ported to iOS, we were so excited to download it! We're so glad it has been on the AppStore since 2010 :D we used to play the desktop version on our grandfather's Mac back when we were a little kid. This game brings back pure memories! Nanosaur 2 was our childhood game :P After paying the not-so-expensive $2.99, we got the game. The $2.99 price tag is more than reasonable for this awesome game. The controls were a bit difficult to master since we always played the PC version. But other than that, we have no complaints. Nanosaur 2 for iOS is literally an exact port of the PC version. All levels are the same, the game layout is the same, and the fun is still there! Nanosaur 2 is a really good 3rd person shooter where you go to different worlds to collect stolen dinosaur eggs. Fight enemies and fly through difficult to navigate terrain. If this sounds interesting to you, trust us… It is. Get the game while you can! -ThunderBow98.

We would have loved to give this game 5 stars!!! Although, like Pokemon Lover 2 said, there is no one to play with. Maybe if it was only $3 or $2 dollars more people will play. We think its current price of $4 is perfect since its such a great game, butttttttttt other people dont think so. So they arent buying it. We love this game and we wished we could of gave it 5 stars!!! We recommended our cousin so if she likes it when she tries it out on our ipod, she might get it on hers too so we can play multiplayer on together c:- When she plays multiplayer with us, it will officially be a 5 star awesome game!!! Just think about lowering the price a buck or two, so we can play with more people c:- Thanks!!! Kitty-.
