They only thing holding this game back from editors choice is multiplayer. Nothing fancy. Just straight up and simple.
This used to work on our iPhone 6. We just got an iPhone Xr, iOS 12.1.4 and it crashes when it tries to load.
Love Aces Cribbage but right now its not loading and keeps crashing ! Wont even load long enough to catch an error code although we think we saw a brief server issue before crashing and now cant get that far.
Have also played over 50 years we have skunked or double skunked every game we’ve played we knew we were a great player but we need real players to really judge the app.
Definitely the nicest and smoothest running game. Only issue is that it gives you a go point and than allows you to still point 2 for a 31.
This is a really good cribbage app, best of all the ones we’ve tried. We learned cribbage in third grade, and now were teaching our kids (not on the app, on our father in laws board, the same one our wife learned on as a kid.)
We’ve been playing cribbage for 50+ years, we can normally walk through any other app with an 80% win ratio. According to the stats on this game, in the 943 games we’ve played in 61 & 1/2 hours we have won only 440 games (46.7%). Exceptional AI and very pleasing graphics as well as just the right touch of animation whereas it does not distract from the game play. As mentioned by others, would love to play against others (by invite only vs. Random player). Would also like to personalize our Avatar with either our photo (preferred) or rendering a pseudo pseudo look alike one along as selecting the opponent avatar. Kudos on a job well done!
Great App, just like a real cribbage game.
We love playing this game. Our only wish is for a chance to SEE where we missed counting since we use the expert method where we do our own counting. If the game would PAUSE when a counting error was made then we could learn where Im making mistakes.
We’ve enjoyed it for about a week! Was annoyed today when it wouldnt even turn on while waiting for our wife while in Walmart! Got home and it worked fine! Must have been limited cell service in building? We dont know if you have to have service to play or not!
This is definitely the smoothest and nicest of all cribbage apps on iOS, but why no online vs. Friend mode? Gotta be asynchronous play of course cause most of us are on the go. Also a design a profile avatar like someone mentioned before would be nice; more themed boards too would make this app absolutely perfect. Five stars if this ever happens. Excellent game otherwise!
Amazing app! Visually. Helps us understand the game. However as of today, it keeps crashing on us as soon as we open it. We have tried to uninstall and reinstall to no avail. Cant seem to contact the developer. Shame. We bought the add free version. Any thoughts?
It would be nice if we could have the option to add the points ourselves.
Game freezes after every hand. You have to either shut it off and reopen it or tap the screen, the game will deal the cards but is still froze. You then hit the question mark and it will work for another hand.
This game continuously freezes up after having it for a period of time. Only happens with IOS. When had our Android never an issue.
We really want to like this game, as its overall a good game with decent graphics and animations. However, the developer hasnt implemented the proper UI Safe Areas for iPhones with a Home Indicator and this causes great annoyance. Since the play a card mechanism is a drag the card gesture, and the cards are located right next to the Home Indicator, about a third of the time we try to play a card, the OS sends us to the home screen instead. These devices have been available for more than two years and youd think it would have been fixed by now.
This game doesnt have adds after every game, it has ads after every HAND! We’ve played one game and am deleting. Enough is enough!
Aces cribbage is the only one we’ve played. But the recent iPhone OS update ruined it. Now it wont even open. HELP!
Commercials interrupt but make it annoying when they block out the game and we have to go back to icon to play more!
Why? Because you have to swipe the cards up from the bottom of the screen, thus bringing up open apps on the phone. Solution: the game maker should allow a tap of the card, instead of a swipe up, to select a card. Deleted.
Used this app for several months, now we just get a flash of a black screen before the app closes down. Tried rebooting we pad, then deleted the app and downloaded again. App wont open.
The app stopped working and when we deleted it to reinstall it, it acted as if we never paid for the ad free version and was trying to scam us for another $2.99. Not happy.
Purchased the full version. During game play the game will randomly freeze. The only way to continue playing is to cancel game. Zero customer support.
The adds pop up after every count.
If you start the game, go on to something else and come back, the game usually just hangs and needs to be force quit. The game doesnt always launch under iOS 15. If you have copied something, the game will capture whatever you have when you launch it. It hasnt been updated in two years so none of these problems will be getting fixed. The icing on the cake? The support link in the App Store takes you to a dead (404) page.
. . . It quit loading. We uninstalled and then reinstalled SEVERAL times but to no avail. It would work for a few hands, then fail to load. While it worked it was enjoyable. It seems that something happened after the last app update. Thats a shame. Otherwise we would recommend the app. The developers said theyd work on a bug fix; NOT. Do not spend your $$$$ on this app until the developers FIT IT! That is quit the shame because it had the BEST ui for this type of game.
This game is no good as we download it and it will not let us open it to play it.
Running on the XS Max. App stopped working and wouldnt load. Had to re-install. Now unable to restore purchases so it looks like Im out $2.99. Link to app support from App Store goes to 404 error.
Its the one game we have left on our phone for years.
Enjoy this game. Play moves right along. More options for players might be nice but basically no improvements needed from our point of view.
After the latest update, the stats section only records your losses, not your wins. And the ads seem even more aggressive now.

This would be more fun if you could play against a friend, but it is fun and helps you stay brushed up on your skills. Impossible to beat the computer in the highest level, they know each move.

Great graphics.. Just a great game! But if one flaw.. Change the music once in a while!!.. Lol.
Fun, fast and easy. Not sure why the game counts a run before a pair (as we learned the opposite way), but it still works great. FYI the game doesn’t know to "peg points" so if you are good at that it helps your score. We just pegged over 45 points in one game and won by double skunk.
This is an awesome game we recommend it to everyone.
We like the difficulty settings and the option to self count or auto count. The characters are a bit ugly kind of like being in Cinderellas stepsisters household. But its fun.
Enjoy the count your own or auto count options. 1 drawback: if you miss points it doesnt show what you missed.
