While we would normally be reviewing the contents within the game we simply cant, the game is unplayable currently on our iPhone XR, the screen is not adjusted for our phone please fix this issue as we paid money for the game as all the reviews convinced us and games of this proposed quality on mobile are few… So again please fix this.
This is a good game from what we can see however we cant figure out how to attack. We select move and then tap on an enemy province but it doesnt do anything. Please help.
It needs to be optimized better our iPhone gets super hot and just forces the app to close every 20 min and its very power consuming also the tutorial needs to go in depth even more there are still things that we just dont understand in our opinion the first one was better all around but this one has more potential.
We think that this game is awesome, we have the normal Age of History 2 game but we have this one for a reason and that is because there is more provinces than the original and this one is Europe which most of history is based around so its pretty good but we wish there was more age of history 2 versions like Age of History 2 Asia or Age of History 2 Africa and also we dont really care if the guy who made this game stopped making updates and we also have Age of History 3 but we like playing Age of History 2 games because theyre simple.
So, age of history III is already out, release it on IOS ukaz please some other things id like to say is let the normal version of Age of History 2 on IOS have the ability to download maps off the website like the andriod and steam versions can please.
If you absolutely love history, geopolitics, and other topics similar to human geography, then this game is definitely worth the purchase. We also own the world version too! Definitely spend hours on hours constantly, takes some learning. But we have played for a little over a year now and we cant stop. Unfortunately updates stopped, but we are about to go buy his other game on Asia. We truly enjoy this and we still am learning new features. We also own the World version. Super fun.

Good game the only thing we wish is if you could delete scenarios you made in the editor.
We like the Europe exclusive (as we call it) mostly because of the smaller provinces, but overall its also rather good. Some minor issues that Ive found is that Norway is portrayed by the 1814 Kingdom of Norway civilization, and that civilizations from scenarios that were removed arent in the game. Other than that we dont really have much complaint. Now we just have to remake all our custom civs here again.
Shut up about multiplayer, the devs are hard at work.

The game is amazing, just one problem. The problem is that the audio crackles in bonus AoC2 and AoC2 Europe. Thats the only problem.
So one request can you make a bit more detailed armies, diplomacy, economy please. What we mean by detailed armies is different kinds of troops or weapons for example tanks planes boats missiles nukes special forces etc. And what we mean by more detail diplomacy is more options for example giving emergency aid or reactions to invading countries and overall just more intelligent AI and a larger number of political options perhaps similar or better then hearts of iron 4. What we mean by more detailed economy is choosing to invest in certain aspects of the city and being able to get more information about the city andBeing able to turn cities into heavily rural, urban districts and choose for it to be industrialized commercialized and this would work with the other requests we gave you for exampleIts heavily industrialized we can produce more tanks boats planes etc. And then a commercialized city but the commercialized city would attract more people and increase the happiness and economy. We are just asking not demanding but if you were to actually do this then we would personally make a game with all of this and mixing in all of the expansions like this one and the Asian expansion.
The game is just oerfect. The politics, the towers, economy, technology, etc are perfect for a strategy game. Our only suggestion is that it had multiplayer mode because after playing it for about 100 hours, you just feel bored and stop playing it. It can be LAN multiplayer or just a quick match. When added, the game would just explode in popularity. Thank you.
This game is really great and fun if you wanna watch countries fight each other or play the game or on a long car ride and need to entertain yourself but there is a weird bug in this game. We were in spectator mode watching countries fight in World War II. And out of nowhere. All of the countries disappear. And all Im left with is a black flashing feels like close to millisecond And we cant do anything but restart the game can you fix it? Or its something wrong with the phone Im using.
The only problem is that you cant declare war on the country in the first four turns but the attacking is simple after the first four turns you click on the country and declare war on the country but everything else is fine so if thats the problem we have it fixed.
We really like this game but like many other the screen isnt formatted, its still playable but it gets annoying at times plz fix.

We LOVE THE GAME BUT we do not care what you do but update you have not did anything for 2 years! Anyways we love the game (why did this end up in most critical).
We were invading a count try and in the peace treaty we only got one peace of land even tho we won.
This game has alot of potential and its really fun, one thing is that well the dev is gone and no where to be seen. So it hasnt been updated for around 2 years. ONLY FOR HIM! The developer yo come back snd just rename it age of history Honestly we dont know why he left this game outdated and not updated. Its a fun game it really is but if he was adding updates think of the cool things he couldve added, Air combat, tanks, more scenarios and eras, etc. But well it just was left dead to rot. The player-base now possibly play games like HOI4, EU4, CK3 paradox strategy war games or just other historical strategy war games like us. So the player-base created mods so more things couldve been added into the game. And well, some of these mods like Bloody Europe II or some other mods are a wonderful addition to the game. More scenarios, provinces, mechanics. Etc. But its still good for the dev to update this game and not just leave it to die. Whatever happened to him, hope hes fine and we hope that he somehow comes back and starts updating it. But thats a one in a trillion chance. Who knows? Anyways thats all we really have to say, Honestly we rate this game a 2.5/5 because of the lack of updates, we mean cmon its been 2 years since he updated this game.. He came back for a bit to only change the name. But we would give it a 3/5 if it wasnt for the developers absence.
We were defeating Norway we were so close but them they had 3000 fricking troops how please fix this we are very frustrates.
So the game is amazing we agree but we need like different troops such as tank ships and planes and weapons like ww1 rifles and muskets and howitzer guns. Also the populations are not good. We wanna have like a high ability to have large armies and for armies… The battles where two armies fight together one army is just completely destroyed so try making more detailed fighting anyways this game is amazing. Thanks! UPDATE: we play it then we save the game and it brings up like another save we deleted months earlier it took us 2 hours to get our Ukraine save back but we close our device and then we are suddenly Norway! FIX IT PLEASE.
Before anything else we will mention that we're giving the game a bit of benefit of the doubt because its really one of the only few games of its type for mobile keep that in mind as you read. TL/DR: The game isn't that great and its overly simplified in some places while being overly complicated and tedious in others. Get it if you like to micro manage because that is exactly what this is, a micro managing simulator. Read the full review if you want to know what this game is really like. This game is exactly like what we wrote in the title. Its not bad for what its trying to be, a turn based strategy game focusing primarily on building up your country and going to war. The problem is it gets repetitive which is expected for a mobile game but what we mean by that is there is 0 strategy to this strategy game. At its repetitive core all your doing is building numbers to fight other numbers until one side runs out of money and game over. There isn't any room for planning offensives or using specialized units to counter other enemy units. Its just numbers on numbers which gets old and really isnt strategy at all. The diplomacy system isn't great either, you can declare war on a country out of the blue which is terrible if your currently focused on one war then suddenly someone is invading in your rear where you have no units. There isn't any notifications for anything like if you haven't used all of your available movement points or if you forgot to move a unit. This ties into another point, the AI will ALWAYS be better than you. The AI doesn't forget to build industry most of the time it doesn't care about that and instead chooses to just conquer its neighbors including you. Alot of the time we find ourselves baffled on how the AI seemingly has more numbers than we do when we have the better economy. This is a personal experience for us but it could also happen to you. There are times when a gap opens up in your line or a province doesn't have many units on it because you don't have enough numbers to cover the entire frontline with 1000, its usually too expensive and the AI will always exploit it. A situation could be where your beating the AI when all of a sudden a tile with less than 500 is created because your busy pushing and your losing units, the AI forms an army of 4000 using money created from who knows where and snakes its way into your territory, gg. This wouldnt have happened if there was a way to automatically resupply your armies(numbers) but because its numbers on numbers there is no room for that. This is a pretty long rant and the developer has abandoned the game so they probably wont read it anyway but at least fix the combat system if you wont do anything else. In its current state it is absolutely atrocious.
Game would play upside down on our iPad and could not choose a nation, which seems to have been randomly chosen. Downloaded, unsuccessfully tried to play multiple times, then just deleted. Waste of $2.99.
Please read this developer this game is bad now because when we were playing as uk on beginner mode we got invaded by Portugal and Belgium on beginner we tried to send peace but they declined even if we were a great power and these owners are lazy.
Theres just too much info on screen. We want a refund.

Whenever we try to get into the app, like all other age of civilization apps, they all crash.
This is a amazing game if you love history and changing it, you can edit worlds and play games, there arent Any adds and its amazing.
The game is pretty good but it needs some bugfixes and most importantly multiplayer.
