A Glimpse into ALLEYCAT

ALLEYCAT is a bicycle racing simulator set in the busy city streets of a procedurally generated world. Racers move from checkpoint to checkpoint trying to complete the race as fast as they can.

Pick your own path through the city, but watch out for the other vehicles on the road if you want to finish the race in one piece. Parked vehicles might open their doors so be careful during tight squeezes.

Touch the bottom half of the screen to go forward, steer by moving your finger left and right on the screen. To use the breaks, slide up to the centre of the screen, or do a sharp turn to skid and drop your speed.

This game does its best to support older devices with optimized settings such as framerate control, shadow settings, and field of view settings. It is designed to run at 60 frames per second on iPhone 6 and newer devices.

ALLEYCAT has SO MUCH potential! The mood of this game almost feels like a lucid dream. We love the art style. The color pallet is easy on the eyes and we love the minimalist cell shaded look. We really hope the developer continues to add more content and update ALLEYCAT. We gave this game 5 stars because we havent been this glued to a game in a while. We really want to see this game grow into something more developed. We’ve seen reviews complain about the controls, but we honestly think theyre great the way they are. Heres some of our pros, cons, and recommendations. Pros: – Graphics and design – Dreamy soundtrack – Addicting and meditative gameplay – Easy game for anyone to pickup and play Cons: – The map breaks into an infinite glitched world when passing through the road that has trees on both sides of the road outside the city. Maybe its a part of the world that is still being worked on? Although it doesnt seem to be a place you should go, it kinda makes the game even more so like a psychedelic lucid dream. – Theres no record tracker or leaderboard. – You cant choose what the bicyclist or bicycle looks like. – Limited songs Recommendations: – Add more areas to explore – Add a record tracker or leaderboard – Add a character creation menu – Add more hypnotic synth tunes – Add multiplayer – Add more obstacles to avoid Thank you for developing such an awesome experience. Keep up the great work!

We really enjoyed this game we’ve played like 7 hours in total (i downloaded it the same day as writing this) there are some 1st person camera bugs when you get to the next checkpoint there are also "car crashes" they don’t look like they were ment to be in the game but we actually really like when it happens it gives the game some things to try and get around they block around 1.5 lines sometimes both of them but we still like it. The last update was 2years ago so we don’t think your working on this project anymore but it is really fun we’ve only found 2 bugs in 7 hours. Really fun good job on the project.

Dear Dev, your game is… "Nearly" perfect for us. It’s a great idea with bicycle but may better if you make it as travel game. It’s cool to ride around the world, visit country side, look at how nice is nature… Need 360 degree camera also. And don’t forget to make it realistic, if you can make it. Just some words from a nature lover.

We do say this game is very interesting from every checkpoints. As you ride your bike more and more, the more difficult and unaware of dumb drivers opening car doors and ramming into you with no remorse. This game could possibly be a horror taking a different turn in the lore of racing on your bike. Whenever you die (crash) was actually all a dream and new characters we will control as whose also competes for a race, which ultimately restarts the whole checkpoint. The game itself is great overall, if there was a lore about this game, maybe it would be more intriguing to play. Also checkpoints are just day light slowly getting dark, instead of checkpoints where you left off, if you could make the daytime automatically gets dark so it would be more natural.

This game got potential!! You know what it needs? It needs different maps, custom bikes, faster pedaling, and an actual race!!!!

We absolutely love this game! Honestly, we dont follow the arrows at all, we just like to crash into things and see the characters ragdoll and hear the loud crash sound whenever they even slightly touch something. Also, we saw on a comment on the game trailer, saying something like, oh update this game blah blah blah and you responded saying youll update it after your other game? Any plans on when you might update?

We got this game yesterday and we like the music and art and despite what other people say the controls arent bad but it gets a little boring because you cant keep track of your times in game and there is no multiplayer or anything and so its just one math and the same amount of stages. Maybe if some of these things were fixed it would be very very good.

We really enjoy the concept of the game but we dont like the steering. Believe the game would be 10 times better with a steering wheel control, or something else other than that slide control. PS.. Love the artwork!

Add more content and maybe a possibile story, would make it cool.

Very easy minimal effort needed! We found a super cool bug but we figured we should say something because it is a bug nonetheless. If you go sorta far outside of the city the invisible barrier becomes not so invisible. Everything breaks down and becomes just cubes, pyramids, lines and flashing colors. We have the video if needed. This makes us feel like Im on a secret mission and we like the feeling so again, just let us know if the video is needed.

Its fine. Pretty nice looking, but gets incredibly frustrating at times. Controls are tricky to get ahold of.

You get thrown i. To the game with nothing beside go to the first check markers the controls are alittle weird but not saves. Our biggest complaint it feels empty your character is randomly generated you cant choice your bike there isnt different play modes its just go. We would like to see in the future some customization nothing big just something like choice between 5 colored long sleave shirts and male and female and then race and just different colored bikes. We would like different game modes like free roam where your timed how long you can last before getting hit then timed mode where you have to meet the makers then classic mode something like that. Just anything to make the game feel fuller.

For starters, there isn’t even a checkpoint after your first objective. There is terrible controls, and no good shortcuts. Imagine, it takes so long to beat a super hard first stage and when you finally do you feel relief. Then you immediately get hit on stage 2 and have to start all over again!
