Worth the money. Took many hours to complete. Good variety. Wish you could get hints on some of the puzzles rather than go straight to skip. We have enjoyed this game series.

There are NO In-App purchases! The game is beautiful, has pleasant music & is fun to play.

Excellent —-Kept us on our toes.

We went back to some old games, and remembered this one. It’s one of the most graphically beautiful games we’ve ever seen. The writing and the plot are also excellent. It’s worth revisiting if you own it and haven’t played it for a while. If you’ve never played it, check it out for yourself.

We are loving this game but we think we have found a glitch. Maybe someone can help? We are stuck with the hint button sending us between Wayshrine and the hot air balloon. Then on the map it says there’s something to do but nothing works. Hint says nothing to do then we’re sent around in circles again. We deleted it and reloaded. It works now.

Very good but some puzzles didn’t make sense and we had to skip them.

The game is okay but it could have had more morphings and less mini games. We hate mini games. The map could be better by showing the name of the location instead of a picture. This gets 4 stars.

We tried this game for a second time and there were no crashes. The HO scenes are the "find the shape" variety which we don’t really like, and you can switch to another "bubble" game format, which we didn’t do. The map was good and allows you to teleport. The hints were good. The puzzles were okay and some were different. We were annoyed when we did the puzzle where you had to move the center piece to create the artifact, because we didn’t do it in the order the game wanted, it seems, because, even though we had put everything together correctly, we couldn’t get to the last piece! We wasn’t about to start over, so we skipped it. But the puzzle is to figure out which pieces need to go first. We wasn’t in the mood for trial and error so we skipped it. The game shows potential, but too expensive for us.

We finally found decent game. Others were dark And gloomy. We can follow this game easily. ThankYou.

We really like the theme of this series of games. It would have gotten a five stars, but twice we had to delete the game and start over from the beginning, and where you had to pick the gems for each planet in order, it wouldnt work. We had to go back to the menu, restart at that spot 6 times for it to acknowledge that we were hitting the gems, and in the right order.

We wasn’t sure about this game, but we got it to try. We had bought it after an hour. When we first started it, we almost deleted it because of the HOPS. We thought there was going to be nothing but HOPS! When you go into your 1st one & finish it, it turns into another one & then another one & then a hard riddle! We about gave up. There are morphing objects in the 1st HOP scene. There are collectible flowers in most new scenes, if you’re into that. The play is fun. The hints are quick. You have an interactive map, but the hint will also let you transport. The graphics are outstanding!! All of them have good graphics these days, but we think these are really beautiful. We wish we could crawl into some scenes & live there. Our only complaint is too many HOPS, but once we got used to them, it was ok. They go fast & you have the option of playing a bubble game which we’ve never seen as an option before, where you shoot different colored balls, trying to position 3 in a row of the same color. It’s kind of fun & we’ve used it several times when we get down to 1 or 2 objects & get frustrated. Happy playing.

Gorgeous graphics but random solutions to problems & was often confusing what to do next!

And when we can afford to play, its the place we want to be… On and in a different place; deep inside a HOG! MINI PUZZLES and enjoying the beauty of fine graphics. Our only problem here is that sometimes we cannot connect some actions with our next move…. We sort of think, ok, now what… Im missing something….. Then we need a hint. Domini has a way of gently guiding us into the next logical move…. Can Domini teach this to the BIG FISHES? They are almost the same company now… It would improve the BF games not to find myself lost… How was we supposed to know that we were supposed to pick up that stick? No hint, no clue, but we got stuck because HONEY was waiting….. For the stick… Got the idea? And after playing more than half of this game, we are sorely disappointed! As we wrote before there is no logical trail to follow. We find myself looking at the screen saying… Ok, whats next. Go to the guide (where we have spent more time than playing the game, truly!) and out of the blue, walk up , go forward…. Ok, forward left or forward right… There are two staircases. We are BORED, not being able to discover or figure out the next move from past actions…. Knowing we must go back to…. THE GUIDE! … Has made us almost delete this game. But we have paid for it, so we TRUDGE ON….. No joy, no sense of pleasure because we figured out something on our own…. Just back to the……… AHHHHHHHHH! The mini games are so difficult, we’ve had to skip 4 of them…. Something we NEVER do…. No accomplishments here….. *******I made it to the bonus game. In the front of the castle is a game type structure… Im supposed to tap six collected gems. We COLLECTED ALL OF THEM. When we put them in place, and tapped the first GEM, it jumped off its stand and dropped downward. The game refuses to go any further. Im stuck here. SUPPORT… WILL YOU HELP ME?

Incredibly boring. Too many mini games, and no logic to the script. Worst game we have ever played.

An October, 2015 game that they re-released in Feb, 2016….. But will let you download a second time without telling you that you already own it.

Seems like a good game but halfway through the game started to crash and now it is so unstable that we cant play it.

Keeps us wanting to see the next part. Games, graphics, user interface all excellent.

The graphics are standing the story is good and gameplay interesting as all big fish games are but, the mini games are ridiculous to complete. You almost have to skip all of them in order to move on in the game.

This is a nice and challenging.

This company always comes through with great games.

Maybe the most beautiful game we have played. The story and voices used are wonderful. Don’t miss this one!

Eipix games usually have clean, great performing puzzles and lovely artwork. Amaranthine Voyage: Shadow of Torment is another interesting addition to the series. As an archaeology professor, you are attempting to discover the uses of all the relics you have unearthed. There was a planet named Anther which apparently battled the Torment. Now you and your students are trying to use the relics to defeat the enemy. We love the Hidden Golden Flowers to collect, as well as Morphing Objects. The Hidden Object puzzles are often shadows which you match to the actual object. Lots of nice touches, such as a necklace that, when activated the correct way, turns into the dagger that you need! We have not experienced a problem with crashing, as others have reported. This has been fun so far, and we intend to purchase. Come out of the shadows and help us defeat Torment!

This game was great all around. Plenty of puzzles, long game time, good extras. A++++

We like these games. The graphics are awesom.

This series has always been wonderful and this newest installment lives up to the same high standard. You play an archeologist and your students find a strange object and so the adventure begins. Collect flowers in scenes and morphing objects in HO.

Of all of the HOPs we have played, we always love the graphics and interface with Eipix. Beautiful!

Not sure why so many are having crash issues but we never did. Awesome game. Doesn’t feel old either as one commented. Every function of the game was newer… Interactive map, hint that teleports directly to area needed, voice overs, beautiful artwork, updated puzzles and so on. Very fun and entertaining! Pls try for yourself. If your iPad is the latest iOS , you don’t have other games running in the background, you have turned the device completely off recently as it needs period lay then you shouldn’t experience crashes. At least we didn’t on our ipad3.

Very engrossing can’t put it down.

Beautifully done. Nice puzzles, interesting story, absolutely love this game, can’t wait for the sequel.

Love all the games, and can’t wait for more! We play about a game a night and this is one of the best so far this year! Great job! Let us know if you need a tester ;)

We are soooo enjoying this game!! The graphics and the puzzles are of such quality. We love the story, and it is just an exciting, five star game. We are a huge fan of big fish games, looooveee them alllllllllll!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We really enjoyed this game. Lots of beauty. Fun games. Good story line.

Just a statement we would like to know why after you keep popping up review us notes constantly. Those review either are never posted or are put up them disappears after a few hrs. We have purchased and played on both our Mac and iPad to give honest and hopeful reviews. No longer will we purchase or review just to waste our money and time so those review can float around in cyberspace and do no one any good. A big shout out toL/M, Hoss, Moonbeam Bunkie , Bluflier, Nambr, Lil Joe, Dracy and all. Lol and prayers to all. Sorry about the mice and Rats you weren’t informed of L/M but we have faith in you. You can do it. Snooper-158.

Beautiful graphics, multiple – level HOS, very fast hint recharge at " casual" level, since we play for fun , not frustration, and very interesting story line,

EIPIX, so gorgeous and dynamic and electric! Wish we could give you 5 stars but we are your toughest reviewer of all! Yes, incredible game! It was very lengthy and had bonus gameplay. The graphics were unbelievably magnificent, and the cut-scenes made us gasp with pleasure! There were lots of extras, including a souvenir room, fabulous wallpapers and an interactive way to see the making of the game. Loading was instantaneous between locations, of which there were many, and there was a teleport map to take you there, with marked tasks and objectives. Collectibles included flowers and morphing objects, and the morphing objects were only in the HO scenes. The HO scenes were varied, not just boring word lists! There were many puzzles and games, varied levels of difficulty. You also had plus items to construct, which we love. You had to find shards to place in an orb, and each time you placed a shard you had to play a couple of games to further you in your quest to save Anther from Torment. Objectives were regularly updated, and inventory was labeled. And thank you, there were NO RODENTS AT ALL! So why not 5 stars? First of all, we would have liked a journal. If you don’t play straight through, parts of the story could get a bit confusing. Secondly, the map showed active tasks when you could not do anything if you didn’t have a particular inventory item! So you ran around a bit! Lastly, there were some glitches in inventory placement, but the game luckily didn’t crash and we could complete it! However, all in all a fabulous game! It reminded us more of Mad Head so EIPIX is keeping up with the times, unlike ERS! Please let’s have a sequel soon, with a journal and appropriately marked map! Thanks again, EIPIX ! Dream Team, have you noticed that lately we are getting many games and mostly gorgeous? Well, BIgFish is taking notice of us! We know for a fact because we were notified personally! If we want things to keep improving we must have quality reviewers! So we invite Opinion, Sunshine Susie and Kim Meadow, who give in-depth reviews, to please accept an invitation to join the Dream Team. There is nothing you need do except say yes or no, Lynxie, in one of your reviews. The more people we can include on our team, who are fabulous reviewers, the better the gaming gets, and we have proof positive of that! Who do you think got the unlocking situation resolved? Yes it was us, and we fought with them and made phone calls and fixed it! We are the most ELITE team of reviewers out there and we want the best for our gamers! So please say yes to our invite. You need never do anything different except always review honestly and in-depth! To our wonderful team, you ladies know who you are and why we love all of you! By the way, any RATS in the new Dark Parables? Someone clue us in please! Thanx!

It’s a good game with a few issues. We love the multifaceted games within games. The graphics are beautiful. Most of the game is easy to follow. However after playing a HOP the sparkles won’t go away and the hint thinks we have to keep going back to it, but nothing happens.

Trial was a bit short, however what we did play… We enjoyed. We will see as we progresses. We think it will be worth the price. Thanks, Joanie.

The last game we played in this series was "Tree of Life". Like that one, the graphics are beautiful, crisp, and clear in this new fantasy. The storyline has a similarity to the other ones in this series. In this one, you have a professor who is drawn into a world under threat; and along with her ditzy student and fellow archeologist, you go through a portal to an alien planet, Anther, to destroy Torment. You find jewel shards for a tool to use during the game, and you find pieces to provide you with story progression. The main game has about 34 puzzles, which are pretty easy and nothing challenging. But the HOS are unique and multi-layered. You find items from one area, and then the focus moves to another area where you find a new set of items. There were interactive word lists with a twist, in which an additional HOS would initiate within it. You also find items by silhouette and then use the item in the scene where appropriate. You also have HOS that were all riddles, and most of the HOS ended with a riddle. We did not experience any glitches and had smooth transition between locations. The inventory was labeled, and you had to combine some items. The map allowed fast travel and had labeled locations with objectives and "action available" in certain difficulty modes. You are collecting 41 flowers in the locations, and 27 morphing objects in the HOS with reminder indicators. The bonus area includes flower collection, souvenir room, lore book, replay of HOS and puzzles, and achievements. The game is fast moving and quite linear. Overall, the game is on the simple side and does not present a challenge. We still enjoyed playing it though.

Some good puzzles, but way too easy. The story line made no sense. Usually your games have some logic to them but this one does not in our opinion. We were disappointed.

It seems we are having the same issue as many other players. After crashing we cannot get past the HOP in this scene. PLEASE FIX! Feeling ripped off after having paid for what seemed like an excellent game.

Was enjoying but have to give it up…. Many crashes. Have had to restart twice…. It gets to a place where you need something (3 gems for statues face). We only have two but game will not let us get the third one. Next attempt in new game , will not let us finish HO game, so we cannot proceed as we don’t have all items. Have looked for up date, but not indicated …. Have rebooted our devise… Nothing works! Too frustrating, Have to quit it…. And we hope it gets fixed! We see others have same problems.

We agree with a previous reviewer. We are unable to complete a hidden object puzzle so we can’t go any further. We will probably be asking for a refund. The free trial should be a little longer as well.

We’re having the same issues as gamer ‘gatexox’. Palace Terrace, HO, sparkly area … Redirects us to where we were before, every time we press on the sparkles. So far, this is a fun game and we love the plethora of puzzles … More difficulty would be nice. I will change our rating after it is fixed

In PALACE TERRACE room…. Will not let us play HO! Each time we touch sparkling area screen goes black, then comes back to same screen in PALACE TERRACE. Appreciate a fix, due to the fact we have paid for this game and would like to finish it…. Good game until then. Will rate higher if able to finish. Update: re-started game…. Fixed problem. No problems after that. Great game, lots of extras!

In terrace, last object in hidden area won’t be retrieved. Please fix, we paid for the game. Uphold ur reputation cuz we are to about to be was your faithful consumer.
