We feel like resources should be used to help speed along construction, not insta-finish, but speed along.
That was fun for about ten minutes then we ran out of keys.
Price for keys to level characters becomes expensive quickly and waiting on key takes way to long only issue so far.
Honestly, we really like the whole concept for this game. Leveling heroes is a fun background activity that you can do while getting other things done, and when you actually feel like playing you can start trying to take territory. Thats the good part. The bad part is, as numerous other people have stated, the major balancing issues that drop this game from a 4 or 5 star game to a 3 star game for us. The way that battles are set up creates a winner-takes-all set up whenever you have two players fighting. The only real way to scrape ahead against a higher level player is if they get bored and quit the game/server, and that just isnt fun. Either you have the better army, and you will win essentially every battle against your opponent (unless theyve spent weeks building up cities, and even then taking down max level cities isnt too hard with enough patience and/or money) or you have a worse army (even by just a little bit) and you will get pounded into the dirt. Seriously, this game needs some balancing. Maybe you could create a support unit every week that can help support your attacks, but it takes a while to move and can get captured. We dont know, but something needs to be changed. The other problem is that 80% of the things you can spend gems, the premium currency, on are complete noob traps. The entire gem market, except maybe elite recruits, is completely worthless, since its all obtainable in other places for much, much less. And keep in mind the elite recruits are pretty much unobtainable without spending money or meticulously grinding for 6 months, so the only time youll get them is by joining an old server. The only things you should ever spend gems on are workers and weapon enhancements (and even then only if you have too many workers already). We dont know if any of this will ever get fixed, since theres also several glitches that have gone unpatched that the few veteran players left all know about and abuse (like being able to have duplicate workers by zooming into an area far away from where theyre working, or instantly completing battles by starting the animation and then restarting the app). If these things got fixed, we would consider this an amazing game, but as it is we just cant get too excited. Its a background app for us, and nothing more.
Game is fun but it takes time to level up your character and you only have to spend money if your in a hurry but if you take your time you can be powerful.
Really cool concept except the characters aren’t balanced and one strong player can trap and ruin the game for newer players.
Shouldnt let new servers open and let old players bring over their legendaries from a different server like how do you think that looks to new players ha and the game hasnt even been updated in two years yikes.
Way to pay to win. Playing with a guy that has 5 legendary heroes and his guys are still 10+ levels below ours and the gear is far behind as well. However being legendaries hes obviously payed for he can still wipe the map with everyone one on the field from how powerful they are. Game should be reworked to only allowing 1 legendary on the team at once for this reason a lone. There are hardly any players on a map as it is so having a guy p2w the best troops makes it even less fun.
He idea is great however if one player as is on our server is stronger than all others they can trap you and you have no option to move servers. The strong player on our server has trapped multiple players to the point no one can gather resources. This makes the game completely pay to win.
A good strategy game. Be prepared for players that spend money, it gives them a big advantage. But you get free diamonds in game and using them right can even things out. Buy workers never speed up cities or roads or other improvements. VIP is good. Level your castle as fast as possible. Use moonstones for heros.
The tutorial could use some work. There’s still so much of the game to learn it. You really need to get into a new server early on otherwise everyone around you will be a lot higher in level and will be near impossible to stand a chance against them.
If one person on a server gets ahead and starts taking over areas, there is no way to stop them. The system needs worked on so that it creates a bit more competition/incentive to continue playing.
Different game , more complicated and takes time to learn all the tricks, need a little more tutorial at the beginning to understand more.
The game is new so there are still some bugs to work out. Overall it’s pretty fun. Had an issue and contacted support and it was fixed extremely fast. We’re highly enjoying this game.
Looks like the servers are down for it… Kinda disappointing.
