A Glimpse into American Canasta
Play online in real-time with other players, either in teams of two or by yourself against another player.
The goal of this card game is to form groups of 3 or more cards of the same value. A combination of seven or more cards is called a Canasta. Draw cards from the deck or the discard pile and meld all your cards as soon as possible to finish the game before the others, and achieve the highest score.
The value of the cards is 5 points for the 3, 4, 5, 6, 7; 10 points for the 8, 9, 10, J, Q, K; 20 points for Aces; 20 points for the 2 (wild card), and 50 points for the Jokers (wild card).
Clean canastas are worth more than the dirty ones (with wild cards)! Block the discard pile to prevent your opponents from picking it up!

Id like to play this on our laptop, we were playing yesterday on it but today the game wont load.
This game has so many flaws. Cant even begin to name them. Total waste of time.
Why do you assume the world is on Facebook and make their login a requirement to play? We have never been on there. Hope you change it or go bankrupt. Bye Felicia!
To use: requires Apple or FaceBook SIGN -IN. Apple sign requires Dual Authentication. Forget it. Its used to track everything you do. Nada.
Why the heck do we need 2 factor authentication to play canasta, deleting this toilet food.
The app works well enough but there are some very ugly people on here, and there is obviously some kind of cheater software where they can see your cards. Its too bad because that does work well.
There is no good tutorial for this app. There are several actions we dont know how to change and\or happen but we dont know why. Im also new to canasta, there are written rules but during play actions happen and we dont know why. We also dont think the deals are real world. The hands definitely cycle through favoring a team or player. It will cycle around and end up favoring you at times but they are not what happens when you play for real.
Love playing this game our mom taught us this game when we were 5 years old. Brings lots of memories.
We love this game but it gets on our nerves with all of the paying system and not enough players; and then there is not enough money for them to play!! We think that the house in this game cheats…..
This game is extremely unfair. They manipulate ALL the games! They are 90% lopsided. Everyone thinks everyone is cheating due to Conectas awful algorithm! They took a great game and ruined it!
We enjoyed playing this game until we started receiving rude and sometimes obscene comments from other players. Time to find a new game.
We have played versions of this game before in real life and was excited to try it in the app. To our dismay there were no rules listed. This became worse when the only explanation was Invalid Meld. After quickly losing the first two games we were out of tokens, and unless we spent real money to get more there was no chance to try playing again. This app is nothing but a money trap and waste of time.

This app was addictive at first. But with us being a new player and the game not having any levels or anything we find myself losing quickly and often. Its hard to learn and excel at a game when youre not able to actually play. Also we dont understand why the bid to get in a game is $1 but you only receive $.5 if you win. This means that even if youre winning youre going to run out of tokens very quickly. This would be fine if they had more ways to receive free coins. As much as Id like to continue playing its become a waste of time and money.
This is absurd that we have to belong to FB to play this game.
How can you sign in without Facebook? We dont use FB.
The format appears to be a desktop APP. Everything is far to small to use on a phone.
The only way to use this app is through Facebook log in. This is very restrictive. Not everyone chooses to use Facebook.
App wont let us use unless we agree to let them have access to our Facebook account! No way thats happening. You have to stop intruding on our privacy.
We cant open this app. We dont want to open it via Facebook but that seems to be the only choice. Any help would be appreciated.

Addicted to the game. App works good except for one thing; it has a glitch where it sometimes will not allow you to pick up the top discard to add to your meld, which you should be able to do when discard pile is not frozen and a canasta is not made in that card number. That can lose you the game. :(
Does this work? Downloaded twice, nothing happens.
The font and screen are so small you need a magnifying glass to even see the numbers on the cards.
We love that you can play with live opponents, but HATE the screen size. It is so small that we can’t read any of the cards when playing on our iPhone. We’re only 26, so we know it’s not just us. The game plays like a Java website you have opened, not like an app. Very disappointing.
Very enjoyable when it is working, but after a few games it begins to scramble sides, freeze the pile in appropriately, causes loss of coins. Can’t leave game, as it will double the loss!
Really hard to see card numbers on a phone. Not meant for small devices. May work better on a tablet.
Can’t see what cards have been played.
This game is fun to play… When it works! But it crashes off the server every time we play. It is especially annoying when it knocks us out of a game completely and then we forfeit twice the wager. We suggest you find another app.
