So I guess Elmwood Trail features a cult group that targets teenagers gives them mysteries to solve in eerie way and Zoey started it for as a fun game but then, as she started to solve it she was getting stalked disturbed and she was as she mentioned felt lonely in her diary i think she started to delve in vault and would frequent to carwash to get a new mystery or problem im getting some serial experiments Lain vibes here and seems that Kyle and Brad got something to do with an illegal activity and they may be connected to vault maybe they are members of some cult and wanted to get other teens involved but it backfired and orignal plan was to do something with Zoey or perhaps maybe there is something supernatural. And I guess whoever send us the phone must be also after this vault group but they decided to contact us protagonist and also maybe Adam and Victoria had a connection that is Victoria was Adam’s girlfriend or relative who died by drowning in Elm wood but that was more than just drowning and the anonymous used as a blackmailing so we investigate and or i think it’s Zoey’s dad as he’s the one till now hadn’t contact the detective.
And let’s be straight Zoey started to receive weird incidents after she friended Betty and got into relationship with Brad both are red flags and seems also logical why would a mean preppy girl would befriend Zoey or even be close to her when she’s totally her opposite Lily i think is the correct person here and Zoey first boyfriend is Brad and that shows Zoey doesn’t have experience or cunningness to think Brad might be suspicious and was happy that she finally got to date someone so she went on. And i guess Zoey did something that Vault8 started to harass her give her pain we still got more missing diary pages and it seems to me there is more disturbing things that happened after her September diary entries she started to visit Elmwood to take over the creepy incidents and j guess this is where she started to be secretive as Vault8 might have told her if she tells anyone of this she will be killed or her family will be harmed and as a result Zoey kept silence and must have wrote more diary entries!! We need more clearance and. I guess Vault8 is a hidden chat history that we will discover in episode 2!
Lily is innocent Rajan too and Kevin seems to be an emotional support guy.
I’m not a good theorist but Zoey is alive trapped and taken hostage and it seems curiosity of a suspicious email got her to events of her that’s she’s involved now
