Description

Ara Fell: Enhanced Edition is a 16-bit era Japanese-style RPG by Stegosoft Games. The new Enhanced Edition features a slew of upgrades, including a revamped battle system, new character classes and skills, new side quests, an overhauled UI, upgraded crafting system, new enchanting system, enhanced aspect ratios, new difficulty modes, an autosave feature, and more!

Ara Fell: Enhanced Edition combines the best parts of Japanese-style role playing games with the best parts of western RPGs, as well as including elements of visual novels and adventure games to create a truly unique experience. Atmosphere, emotion and surprise lie at the forefront of Ara Fell’s story, driven by deep and accessible characters, each with his or her own past, their own desires and their own motivations for joining the protagonist’s quest. Join Lita and relive the golden age of RPGs with a game that both pays homage to the past greats, as well as blazing its own trail.

EXPLORATION: Ara Fell is a world meant to be explored! Jump, crawl, swim and even fly through the air to solve puzzles and discover new locations filled with hidden treasure, secrets and adventure! Every corner of Ara Fell is designed with exploration in mind.

OPEN WORLD: Most of the world can be explored from the moment you leave Aloria Village, the heroine’s home town… provided, of course, you’re strong enough. A clever explorer may be able unlock secrets and discover powerful equipment early in the game if he or she commits to taking advantage of the open nature of the game world.

TACTICAL COMBAT: Ara Fell may be a story-heavy game, but the world is still fraught with danger. Choose specialized equipment and statistics, customizing each character to best suit your play style, and to best thwart each boss battle’s unique mechanics.

CHARACTER DRIVEN: When you join Ara Fell’s unwitting heroine on her quest to save her homeland, you’ll discover a world filled with vibrant characters who laugh, cry, crack jokes, lose their tempers, and even their will to go on as the size and scope of the curse that plagues Ara Fell becomes apparent. Friends and villains alike are not who they seem as the stakes grow ever higher…

Ara Fell: Enhanced Edition Reviews

To an old school JRPG lover like us, this game was better than we ever expected. We liked the story, character development, world building and battle system all overall. While it was certainly not the most sophisticated game system, we thought it was just right for a mobile game. Its clear that a lot of love and effort went into making this game, and we really appreciate that. Thank you for the great experience. Well worth the money.

Best game we’ve played in ages! Love us some Tilani!

Wow!!! Words cannot express how much of a delight this was to play. We grew up in the 90s and played a bunch of these retro style turn-based RPGs as a kid. We really appreciate this game and wish theyd make a part 2! Id gladly pay double for it :)

We bought this game a year ago and never touched it. After finally cleaning our phone of old apps we finally got around to ply this game and we fully regret not touching it a year ago. This game is extremely good. Feels like an old classic jrpg game almost like Crono Trigger feel. The crafting is a nifty mechanic especially when upgrading gear. We do love the optimization of different style abilities to help the party or yourself. The story is actually really good too. Usually we just spam read, but for once we actually took our time to read the story and talk to people. The best thing about the game is the music. Music is amazing. If you havent tried this game, buy it and give it a try. It is a must play game and definitely worth it.

This is an amazing game! A really good refinement of the JRPG formula. We love how open the world is for exploration, despite being confusing at times. All the modes of exploration, from jumping, crawling and swimming, all of it is fun to explore and find secrets with! Our only complaint would be the on screen controls, it is very fiddly and it can obscure vision. We would recommend looking at Doom and Destinys touch controls as a good example how to do touch controls for a JRPG on mobile.

We really adore this game, its the only game that feels valuable to us emotionally, the soundtrack, the story, the characters, we were attached to this world and everything it had to offer, Im really hoping for a sequel to this, like the unexplained world on the bottom at the final prologue, and we hope to see Rise of The Third Power on the App Store pretty soon, lovely game, need more of it <3.

The game was a treat to play. Well designed mechanics and gameplay with beautiful graphics.

Seems like a cool game but occasionally there are white bright flashes that serve as an effect which made us queezy over time, probably not epileptic friendly, although we are not one.

This game is a really interesting 16 bit throwback with crafting. We played through the prologue and part of chapter 1. With that being said, Im really impressed. It would fit right at home with the 16 bit heavy weights. The music and pixel art is outstanding. We really enjoy the music. Our only complaint is the game has some weird black squares and graphical issues on the overlay at the title screen along with graphical artifacts in the form of colored borders appearing when a cinematic starts. There are some random crashes when messing with options in settings. Im running on an iPhone 11. Please fix. We love this game so far.

The opening settings on the game are a little confusing, it took us 1 to 2 minutes to figure out, but after that it is pure fun and adventure. Well worth it! This game is one of the best RPGs we’ve played. We recommend playing with set controls that dont move with touch. . . Like an old school controller. If you like old school RPGs, this game rocks!

Really fun game. Love the gameplay and everything about this game. Its just not optimized for our screen size. Graphics get hung up, weird views happen because this wasnt optimized for the iPhone screens width. Fix this and add a joystick and its 5 stars.

It took us five minutes just to successfully choose the default language, and then after five more minutes of being unable to navigate even the first menu to start the game we give up. This is clearly neither designed for mobile or even properly tested on mobile. We have an XR so its definitely not an issue of outdated hardware, its just terrible UI design.
