The way the app checks for updates doesn't allow offline plays like it used to.
But only if youre really into this stuff. Otherwise dont bother wasting your time and energy on a game you dont even want to play or understand. Unfortunately we keep coming back for the amazing songs and addicting gameplay so we probably spent more than we should have on this mobile game slop.
We think this game is very interesting and we like it, but most of the content in this game needs to be paid, and some of it is expensive. Moreover, there are a lot of bugs in this game, but we still like it very much, because we think it is more interesting to play.
This game is prodigy if you really like jpop music plus anime Fan.
We love this game and have played since sixth grade (im a freshie in college) it is hands down our favorite rhythm game its so fun, but the switch version isnt even close to the same as the mobile version because its soooo far behind like it doesnt even have jingle on it. So please Lowiro UPDATE THE SWITCH VERSION we LOVE THIS GAMEEE.
Purgatorium is peak ngl.however.we were wondering if the undertale crossover was in the switch version as Im planning on buying it. Best of wishes (also please make more stuff free) also question uhm if we have both undertale and archaea on our switch would we get the crossover for free? Recently, Ive switched from android to IPhone and Ive come to notice that Arcaea has some issues on IOS that android never had. Whenever we open the game there seems to be no sound coming from the app even when we close out of the app and reopen the app.
We love this game, it is fun the chart is great and the music is catchy. But the opacity of light mode is very bad, we cannot play light mode chart if they cant be inverted by reunion tairitsu and hikari. Please make the note more stand out to the moving field by darken the color or make it more visible, because light mode is very bad to play.
Its the best game to play when u wanna chill or play the games with rhythm.

Tho its an interesting & amazing game, you have to pay for all the songs besides the ONE pack u get for free. You have to pay for the story, and characters.
The games audio will cut out if you get phone calls or leave the app and return. Sometimes it doesnt work even opening the app or restarting the phone, pls fix.

This game is actually great! By far one of the best! Ive been playing this game for almost a month now and if we had something to hate inside this game itd be the sky notes but we asked for a challenge so ask and you shall receive right? Words cannot describe how splendrous this game actually is! If you havent played this rhythm game yet then youre missing out! Theres even free songs which you have to unlock, sure its grindy but the grind is worth it for some banger songs! We have to admit, Arcaea is better than ANY other rhythm game. Its simple the real deal. No rhythm game has made us cry ever because of how difficult a level is. If youre looking for an actual rhythm game thats actually difficult and needs skill. Arcaea is your game. Arcaea youre the G O A T.

We downloaded the game because we heard about the Undertale collab, so we were expecting for it to be free, maybe difficult to obtain but free. But no, the moment we opened the game we see it cost 500 memories, we were fine with some of the permanent song costing IRL currency, but limited songs, really? And this probably isnt the first time they did this, we have no real proof but if they did it now, they probably did it then. So if they could just instead either make limited songs free or memories be difficult to obtain (so there is still an actual reason to buy them) then this game will be very good that we would recommend.
Arcaea is one of the best rhythm games we even playedbut we think lowiro is too bad.
We really like how Arcaea uses floor and sky notes unlike most rhythm games that only use floor notes, but theres one small problem. Whenever we call someone and play Arcaea, the audio is really glitchy and weird. The visual is fine but its just the audio. This only happens when you call someone and play Arcaea. So if you can and have time lowiro, please fix this. But aside from that, in our opinion this game is amazing!! We definitely recommend this to other rhythm gamers that want a challenge. The songs are good, and the anomalies are really fun and cool to see! Another thing is that buying the packs make you go broke. So please make it so the packs costs fragments as well instead of just memories.
We enable 120 frames in the settings but its always locked to 60 frames after playing for a short while lowering the graph is quality doesnt help either. We cant imagine that an iPad with M4 chip cant handle 120 frames for this game is this the problem with our tablet or the game.
When Im doing the downloading content updates, it always crashes on us when its at 80%.
Uh so we tried logging in about 15+ times using our icloud or gmail and it never sends us a verification, we don't know what's wrong with it.
Only rating it 4 (for now) because we js started like a week ago. But we were lookong for rythmn games that didnt have too much for story wise and this one doesnt ( so far) and we love it hehe ok bye.
Been playing the game since 2018. Peak gameplay, peak storyline. Just one suggestion: More stamina for World Mode.
Im a total newcomer to rhythm games but we love playing and experiencing stories, and Arcaea is incredible in how it presents story and gameplay. Our one feedback is to create an even easier difficulty so even newcomers can experience the story and gameplay together. Or incorporate the percentage unlock system on lower difficulties. Currently Im stuck on Black Fates anomaly challenge and its not really accommodating for newcomers to pass through. We worry this is a controversial opinion but itd make the experience of Arcaea for newcomers a bit easier. We mean, Im willing to pay for the content and Id really love to experience it ourselves. Thats our one request.
The game is fine but sometimes when we play it doesnt respond for example we were playing today and anytime we touched mainly arc notes it kept saying lost even though our hand was on it. This issue occurs from time to time but we keep restarting the game and nothing works so we just stop playing. We love the game but we dont know how to solve this issue.
The audio is broken on Ios 18 for iphone 14.
The notes that are like hold notes, that are shaped like diamonds are very unresponsive and hard to use, the rest of the game is fine though.
Dont get us wrong, we adore the idea of playing in 3 dimensions. But 95% of this game is locked behind various paywalls. Not even Rayark is this bad. No, seriously, lets do a comparison. Cytus II gives about 150 songs, 50+ hours of gameplay and the entire base story for the low low price of $2. (or even free if youre on an iPad) Arcaea, however gives less than a dozen when you first start out and makes it hard to get more without paying for albums. You get three entries in the story before the rest is behind numerous paywalls. Each $5 paywall unlocks half a dozen songs and 6 entries or so to match. You know the funny thing? All these problems would disappear if the devs would give us literally any way to get the premium currency for free. Iowiro, you know its bad when the company known for being greedy is less greedy than you.
We spent 300 hours of our life on this game RAHH 10/5 stars.

Honestly Ive played a lot of music beat games like Project Sekai but this goes SECOND place for us because this great! Takes a chunk of our storage, but its fun! We recommend this for whoever is reading. Great game.

Back then when we were little we hated ths game because it was goo hard and have no experience. Couple yars went by we saw this game and thought we should try it again and it fun like REALLY REALLY FUN. Keep up the good work game.
Ive played arcaea for almost 5 years and safe to say its our favorite rhythm game ever. The story is well written and the selection of songs are great, as well as the art style. Only complaint is how the story costs money and a lot of the songs/packs do whenever theres a new event. Might as well make the game cost money, or input more f2p features for getting memories (other than the free 100 from new years). Im glad they added the world extend packs to allow f2p players to get newer and complex songs. We still love the game regardless, and its definitely worth playing. The games rigor is off the charts but when you get used to it its awesome.
