A Glimpse into Astraware Kriss Kross
Kriss Kross, also known as Word Fit or Fill Ins, is a popular word puzzle that puts your deductive skills to the test! In each puzzle you are given a grid and a list of words, and it’s up to you to find the right place to fill in the words! It starts simply enough until you find words that could fit in multiple places and you realize you need to think ahead.
Astraware Kriss Kross gives you access to play our four Daily puzzles – top the global leaderboard by completing the puzzle in the fastest time! For more of a challenge there is a Weekender puzzle available each Friday with an even bigger grid. The game also includes 60 built-in puzzles in various sizes and difficulties.

Puzzles Plus Subscription Terms and Details
Puzzles Plus is our optional subscription for Astraware Kriss Kross which entitles you to play all of the available Daily, Weekender and Stream puzzles as soon as they are available, without in-game adverts or any requirement to earn tokens. Subscribers can also choose to highlight their high scores with a choice of badges.
Subscriptions are available with renewal periods of either monthly, quarterly (every 3 months), or yearly. The price shown is the cost of the renewal, with the saving value for longer subscription periods as a comparison to the monthly option.
After you confirm a subscription, you will have a free trial period of seven days. Your iTunes Account will be charged as soon as the free trial is over. If you cancel the subscription at any time before the free trial is over, you will not be billed.
The subscriptions are automatically renewing, and you will be charged again at the end of your current subscription period. Your subscription will automatically renew unless you turn this off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
The renewal cost will be the same for each subscription period, and will be charged within the 24 hours before the end of your current subscription.
You can manage the subscriptions at any time by going to the Account Settings in the Settings App after purchase. There are options to either change to a different renewal period (which will be at a different price) or to cancel your subscription completely.
If you cancel the renewal you will still have access to the Puzzles Plus features until the full subscription period is complete. If you confirm the purchase of a subscription before the free trial is complete, any unused portion of the free trial will be lost.

This game is ridiculous. There are no free games, you have to pay for them with stamps. You get three free stamps a day. So you cannot play everyday. We deleted it.
We hate the larger text size and blue color!! Is there any way to make it smaller and black the way it was!!
Really enjoyed the game – until this week. There was an update and now the game just disappears, instead of opening. Deleted the game ( losing all accrued points) and reinstalled. Worked for a few days. Then the disappearing act kicked in again. We can deal with glitches, but we are rejected from the help desk ( You are not authorized to contact help desk) If you can get it to work – great game. Otherwise, dont count on help from support desk.
It crashes immediately since the last update. Miss this game! Our daily pleasure! Please fix!
Sometimes you look at the puzzle and you think, this wont be that hard. And then you get a couple letters in a word and you realize there are three words that fit. So now you need to solve a different word and come back. Its essentially a puzzle to solve the puzzle. Enjoy.

This used to be our favorite game. When we upgraded to the XR, the app crashes every time we start a puzzle. Please fix this! Ill definitely change our rating and review as soon as we can play again.
We’ve enjoyed this game for awhile now, long enough to renew. You definitely need to pay the low price to play without ads and unlimited, otherwise you dont get to play much for free, but its quite reasonable. Youd end up paying this buying puzzle books and Id much prefer playing online. The game has worked well, no real issues and support was great when we changed and bought a new device. We only wish there was a tad more to this overall, maybe ranks or levels based on puzzles completed and/or faster advancement for better times. It would give more regular play incentive. We like challenges and more could be done to expand the challenges and incentives here, thus the reason we didnt rate it 5 stars. It doesnt draw us in daily.
We love playing the game, just wish you didnt need stamps to play. We try to take surveys to get more stamps but it never works or theres almost always no surveys that we qualify for.
Love this type of puzzle! We only wish there were more than four a day!! Its a great way to keep our mind active! (Im a Stroke survivor!!! Recovering from a major stroke is a never-ending journey.)

This is seriously our all time FAVORITE game! And to anyone who enjoys puzzles or anything of the sort, we suggest you get this game. BUT- the reason why we’re so incredibly sad, and why we’re giving one star, is because all of a sudden, the new update (that by the way, we didn’t choose to get, it came with our new iPad) makes it so we can’t even open the app! It just instantly crashes! Please, please, PLEASE fix asap! We’re going crazy without our daily kriss kross fix!
Great game until latest update killed it, along with Codewords and Number Cross. What happened, Astraware?
We’ve been a beta tester for this game, and like the gameplay, but we often play games while on phone calls, or late at night when others are sleeping. The sudden explosive noise from the ads have irritated and startled us to the point of removing the game. Sure, we can mute our phone, but then we forget to turn it back up, and oversleep. The game isn’t worth our job! If they ever change it so that the in-game sound and music silencing also controls the video ads, we’ll redownload it. We miss it, but not enough to buy the full ad-free version.
We love all the Astraware puzzles. No mistakes on them, no glitches using them, fun little extras, just challenging enough, always reliable!
We’ve played a few of these games and it’s been a lot of fun. If you’re looking for a style that is close to the kriss kross books, this is the best one we’ve found. The word sizes range from 3 to 12 (so far). It’s rare to find kriss kross’ that use 3 letter words. The games range from easy to hard, of course, but the best thing is the daily puzzles. We have not found this in any of the other KKs we’ve done. Give this KK a try and see the difference between this KK and the others.
We love this game. It is harder to scroll across the available words. Selecting the word isn’t too bad.
This game used to be fabulous, we played it everyday, until they "updated" it. Now it is impossible to grab words quickly, which is the object of the game. We deleted it. One GOOD game is worth far more than two useless ones.

This app gives an easy Kriss Kross a day, and a medium each weekend. The other review is incorrect… Words are given by number, and tapping on one shows the segments of the puzzle at that length. Unlike the Puzzler kriss Kross, the hints actually give you a letter, although we haven’t had to use hints yet.
We love word games and the time challenge adds to the fun.
Just click on words and all the places it will fit light up. Then drag the word to its spot! Easy as can be. We really enjoy these word puzzles!
Easy to hard levels are a great way to keep our minds working while having fun playing. We even bought the vacation package and was very surprised by the number of puzzles we received. We don’t hesitate to download programs from Astraware. Thank you!! Clara.

We used to do these puzzles for hours as a kid. This app is great – love how easy it is to fill in the puzzle. Astraware makes great products. We see their name and buy without hesitation. We also love their daily puzzles. We wish they would do one at each level like they do sudoku.

Love the game! We play daily. We just wish our screen was a bit bigger; it’s sometimes difficult to manipulate on a smaller screen. Update: so much better on a tablet! We don’t accidentally place words in the wrong spot anymore.
So far every astaware word game we’ve played has been great, no trouble, easy to play, yet challenging enough, we have this one plus word search, crossword,etc n word games r our favorite to play n now that we’ve played astaware it’s the puzzle we always play now, keep more puzzles coming, awesome job.

We’re a little thrown back at how much you want per pack. The games that you get for free take a whole half hour before completing them all. We don’t mind paying for things. However, we don’t buy pack 1, pack 2, ext. We would rather pay once and be done. Again, these games are fun. We played, now we’re deleting. Not quite what we’re looking for. Not to mention, this seemed to be VERY easy!
When we read the description of how it is played, we were confused at first, but it is straightforward and quite addictive. The user interface takes good advantage of touchscreen technology.

Addicting. Sometimes difficult to insert a word and often the words will replace each other which is maddening. Otherwise much fun to play.
We do enjoy this game! The biggest headache for us is when you try to insert a word and it won’t let you, even if your word is correct. It usually works when we leave that word then come back!
