Puzzles Plus Subscription Terms and Details
Puzzles Plus is our optional subscription for Astraware Crosswords which entitles you to play all of the available Daily, Weekender and Stream puzzles as soon as they are available, without in-game adverts or any requirement to earn tokens. Subscribers can also choose to highlight their high scores with a choice of badges.
Subscriptions are available with renewal periods of either monthly, quarterly (every 3 months), or yearly. The price shown is the cost of the renewal, with the saving value for longer subscription periods as a comparison to the monthly option.
After you confirm a subscription, you will have a free trial period of seven days. Your iTunes Account will be charged as soon as the free trial is over. If you cancel the subscription at any time before the free trial is over, you will not be billed.
The subscriptions are automatically renewing, and you will be charged again at the end of your current subscription period. Your subscription will automatically renew unless you turn this off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
The renewal cost will be the same for each subscription period, and will be charged within the 24 hours before the end of your current subscription.
You can manage the subscriptions at any time by going to the Account Settings in the Settings App after purchase. There are options to either change to a different renewal period (which will be at a different price) or to cancel your subscription completely.
If you cancel the renewal you will still have access to the Puzzles Plus features until the full subscription period is complete. If you confirm the purchase of a subscription before the free trial is complete, any unused portion of the free trial will be lost.

Always good but puzzling hints. What more could a puzzle addict want.
We do like working these puzzles. Some-we breeze through; others are more challenging. At times the clues are rather obscure but since we don't require perfection from ourselves, they are still fun. They are just puzzles–not a life's goal.
Ive been working these for a few months now and its the only crossword app we use with any level of consistency. What sets Astraware apart is the options that they give you. If you like to play online, there are four new puzzles of varying sizes and difficulty every day, plus a larger puzzle every Friday thats available for one week. Want to play offline? The downloadable puzzle packs are reasonably priced, and both online and offline play gives you the tools to crack the clues that stump you. Maybe asking for a letter in the word is all you need. Or (if online) you can use the solver feature to see words that could fit given whats already on the board. The puzzles are the British quick crossword style, so they wont take as long as American-style crosswords, but youll quickly discover that this app plays fair on all counts: Race the clock or solve at your leisure, use hints or not. You cant ask for much more. Recommended.
We used to get stars at least once a week. Now we are not . Its a little sad to not ever get one.
Keeps our mind flexible and our despair and depression kept to a minimum.
While it is fun to play, dont think that you could ever actually win. Every single time we lose, whether it be by less than a second or several seconds, the people that are listed that have better scores than us are names that Ive never heard of before. Ive been playing this game for months and eventually realized that the top scorers are fake names that are being put on the list, theyre not real players because you never see them listed before or since. It is deceitful but as long as you dont pay any money and take it for what it is you can have fun challenging yourself, but please dont be upset if you never get high enough on the leaderboard.
What used to be a 95% is now a 5%.
Great app, but Im only giving four stars because some of the clues get repeated often.
We have played this game for the past five years and use it to judge the progression of Ataxia,we have enjoyed playing this game and its fun to see the results.

App freezes when we play purchased puzzle packs and the timer seems to have glitched since its moving WAY too fast. Definitely messes with the ranking. Please fix this asap.
We enjoy the crosswords even though we rank near the bottom. This is a British puzzle so sometimes the clues/answers are regional.

For months we have been working the puzzles with varying degrees of success. The puzzles have consistently been challenging. Unlike some other puzzle sites, the clues are well-written and seldom repeated. We do appreciate the immediate feedback on our performance. We also like the expanded numbers of puzzles to work. Thank you for offering hours of entertainment.
A few weeks ago the app started freezing, crashing and the times on daily puzzles is screwed up(rushing, freezing, never starting) and overall just being a pain. One of our favorite apps but its just so glitchy now:(.
The most recent update has destroyed an otherwise enjoyable and problem-free app. It worked just fine since we downloaded it ages ago, and previous updates never posed an issue. However, the same cannot be said of the most recent update that was pushed out a few weeks ago. The app crashes all the time, regardless of what option we choose: whether we're trying to access a puzzle, complete the surveys for stamps, or enter a word in a puzzle (if we're lucky enough to get into one before it freezes and crashes), the app fails every time. We get maybe 10 seconds before it freezes up and shuts down. We won't delete and reinstall because we'd lose all 1300+ of our stamps. Please fix now.
Some clues don't match responses perfectly. Tenses are off which makes solving puzzles very challenging.

Although the clues and words may sometimes be repetitive from puzzle to puzzle, this daily crossword keeps our brain working. Part of our daily routine.
Been working this crossword for about 2 years and it's decent enough. Good variety, not too hard, not too easy..always updating which says a lot about Developers….if they didn't care they would just let it go like so many. Only have good things to say about it… And it's free. Not too many games that are truly free are nearly as worthwhile as this one. And we really like the new doubles daily games! Thanks Astro.

These are fun, short puzzles, but the clues and answers are often British, sometimes even with British spellings, and even Americans who are more or less bilingual may have some difficulty going from definition to word. For example, its one thing for an American to know that, in British English, cute means clever, but its harder to remember that one word for clever is cute. The new releases of the game offer more puzzles per day, a cleaner interface, and the ability to go back a few days to get a puzzle you missed.
Uses obscure clues, often deliberately deceptive, when other simple and direct choices are available. There are certainly better crossword apps to choose from.
We have tried many crossword puzzle apps and yours is the best! You even made it better with the latest update. We like that the color of the letters changes from blue to black, so easy to read. We're very impressed. Thank you astraware team.
We deleted the app to make some room for something else but realized we wanted this one back and now it won't re-download… What gives.
We updated, and now the app will not open. It goes blank, then back to our home screen. Do not recommend updating.
Latest release offers an option to get 2 puzzles daily. Have been trying for 3 days to buy the upgrade, but all we get is "cannot connect to app store." Maybe it's just as well because previous extra games we had bought seem to have disappeared after this latest 'upgrade'.
