Community Insight:

We just stumbled across this game in December 2025, even though its been out for over 10 years! Super fun couch co-op for 2 to 4 players. This is a super well designed, pick up and go party game Great sound design, excellent music, super replayable, just the right balance of power ups, onscreen tips, user interface is perfect. Just awesome all around 5 stars. Please update to include Game Center integration.

Wish we would see more updates / changes. Although the game is the same, its good but wish we could see different game modes. Does the Astroparty team still pay attention to old games like this one, or focus on the future. It would be nice to see the team reply to this one. Response to DEVS: still waiting for it to come to IPad.

We love the revamped version of Astro Party just wish there was a setting for original Astro party controls controls.

We'd miss the Astro remote, it make things more fun.

A great and addicting game. Our roommates and we would play this for hours on end (up until about two weeks ago) using the Apple TV app and our phones with the now-former Astro Remote app. Could you please bring this back it makes a huge difference. Its just not the same without it.

This game is very good like Astro party but with more stuff. It need Astro remote to work on iPhone though because the we can only have to players.

We really enjoy playing this game with our buddy, or sometimes us and our buddy team up on 2 COMS, its just a fun game to play to kill off boredom. BUT, overall one problem is standing among. Its that apparently either the game ripped us off after paying almost $6.99 on this thing, or we were mistaken, so YOU choose. Am we either mistakened or getting ripped off? Another thing to announce, is that there is no 6 players, like it said it would be, son Developers… Please fix this and accept our suggestion, we would be so very extremely grateful if you can fix this as soon as you can. Thank you for considering our comment, Developers… PEACE.

The game is fun and like the new things but the multiplayer needs a little improvement.Like what if you arent playing in a place with WiFi.So it should have a Bluetooth option just like space team. Also remote play is only for apple. It should be for Android too.

Ther was an online version and there could be a team pilot execution. Like seriously have an online version.

Really fun multiplayer game. Playing with our 5 yo right now. Cant wait until our 3 yo get older so we can all play! Thanks for the Astro Remote.

Pls fix we cant control our pilot when Im the shark ship.

We want full screen on our ipad and keyboard support and 120 fps please.

This game is amazing. We played this and Astro Party with our friends all towards the end of the school year. Now that summer break is here, we can't play this game with them anymore. Astro Online would be an amazing experience and we bet many others would enjoy it also.

The game is great but the new items can be way too OP especially when combined with the Hard Mode CPUs annoyingly good accuracy, also on the map with the Pac-Man style tunnels all the CPU does is turn around making it feel unnatural due to their inability to as a person would.

The additional arenas and playing style is great, but for a $5 app that is supposed to be an upgrade, please try and put in the two button 4 player local experience of Astro Party and the replays available in the free version.

It's cool sure, but the simplicity of the original Astro party is what made it cool. Two buttons was what made it fun, and now we feel it's too complex for such a fast paced game. If the two button variation, where 4 people could play on the iPad, was back, it would be significantly better.

This game is dumb, we got it so we could play with our other friends on the same device, that is not what we got. Instead we got a game with wonky controls that doesn't even make sense.

It's stupid for iPad because it's not like the original at all there are only 2 players and the controls are insanely hard unless there is a better update we'll buy it.

Do you know how there is pilot execution and team deathmatch, we would request a team pilot execution.

We love the game and all but we played astro party with our 3 friends so we bought this game we were soo happy but then we were sad. Joypad game controller doesent exist anymore so we can't play with our friends Other wise we love it.

This app is really good but… The controller is not good we like the 2 button controls we really want you guys to fix that because it is too hard the 2 button is better and when you just play on the iPad make it 2 button please. 2 BUTTON.

This is a fun app, if only we can rotate the app, since it's inconvenient to hold our iPad upside down when we play with CPU 's.

We would love this game, but the controls are much harder than Astro Party. Please change this and we will be able to rate this 5 stars.

We can't find out how to get it too 3 or four players.

You should really update this app and come up with a way to turn left, right, and shoot with four people on one iPad without an iPhone. It's not fair that you can only do two people on this one but it has more power ups and maps. If that's fixed the. This will be a five star app.

If the controls were like Astro party this game would be really fun but if u have the controls all over its gonna be really hard plz fix this.

Maybe you guys can do 4 on same ipad. We like the same control system as astro party. Also you guys should add pilot hunter to it too.

This is a great title, If you have ever played Worms with your buddies for hours and hours, then you know the joys of local multiplayer games. This one translates really well to the iOS platform. Give it a try.

We showed this game to a bunch of friends and things went crazy. People shouted, there was some name calling, and in the end some feelings might of been hurt. BEST LOCAL MULTIPLAYER ON THE IPAD! It's so easy to fall in love with this game: 1. Simple controls – left/right/thrusters/shoot! 2. Adorable 8-bit retro graphics 3. GREAT music 4. 4-player combat 5. Replay factor up the wazoo.

Game reminds us of the stylings and flavor of Towerfall, but with drift and forces instead of gravity.

Some other person left a terrible review because they must not have read the details (that it's best experienced with controllers) of the game or seen the preview on the developers web site, but don't let that fool you. This game is amazing. We didn't even know this kind of game play was possible for the iPad. Super smooth and addictive. Blast.

Astro Duel is a great party game. It's fun and hilarious. The power ups all do cool stuff like give your ship lightsabers or drop land mines (space mines?). The AI ships offer plenty of challenge too.

Surprisingly tight controls. Cool powerups, interesting arenas, and definitely interested in trying extra phone controllers.

Lol, easy cpu? Whoever programmed the cpu should be punched in the throat, fired, thrown on the street, and curb stomped. The only way this is fun and fair is if you have someone to play it with, which isn't gonna happen 90% of the time. Our advice, go get Soccer Physics, it's cheaper, more fun, and not full of cpu's that have unfair advantages.
