Been playing on and off for quite some time now, always a good time. We wish other games would adopt the simple and streamlined building upgrade system they have implemented here.
They worked with us and restored our account! We loved this game and spent more time and money than we care to admit. All was well until we woke up one morning and our account was gone. We tried to reconnect to Facebook and got an error stating that this app is no longer able to connect.
We wanted to download this game back and as we open it up we cant play it. It seems theres a bug where we cant seem to connect to the game when we press start game in the main menu.
Nice game and all, but the Game Center login won't work.
We started this game shortly after launch. Played it daily for years. Love it to pieces. Might have loved it too much as it kept us awake a lot. Unlike many other games we always found we could keep doing something. It has a lot of depth that you wouldnt expect for a mobile game. Theres regular events and changes to the game that keep you coming back. This game to us would be 5 stars if not for the below issue. We just came back to it after losing our progress. We dont have a Facebook account nor do we want one, so we borrowed one our wife had made to sign in. Got a new phone in 2021, and unbeknownst to us our wife hand consolidated stuff so she got rid of the account we were using. We started the game again apparently 452 days ago. But we were disillusioned with the loss of progress so we didnt come back to it til today. We are now ready to start over and climb the ladder again, but still miss all the progress we had. We really wish yall would move away from Facebook, or at least provide an alternative for keeping progress. Cause we realize that Im likely to lose our progress again whenever we switch our phone and we really dont want to make a Facebook account.
Its a good game to waste some time on but the tutorial is way too long.
This is a fantastic game. Read the other reviews about why, there are a lot. However, recently it has shown the start game button, but when you press it, it does nothing. We cant play the game. It just will not let us.
Have been playing this game on and off for many years its always been a really great, in depth strategy game. Tons of stuff to do and enjoy. However, they no longer support Facebook login. Its absolutely maddening they would someone drop FB login without any acknowledgment or workaround to get your nation back. We lost years of progress now because of it. They also havent updated the game in years. Devs have prob alt given up and hope that people would continue to play new accounts and spend more money. Not us. Id happily spend more money on our previous account but no way am we restarting years of progress. What a shame.
Ive been playing this game on and off for several years, just like with our other games. Now our old game is gone and CS never responded to our email. We had spent some money on it and many hours just for it to be gone in an instant.
Went to log in recently after almost a year of not playing. Completely deleted a character that was top 20 on Gemini. No response from support. Wasted literally a small fortune both in time and money.
Didnt log in for 3 months and come back to our account gone. Wow… Been playing since 2016.
Everything you do in game, research, construction, production, attacks, etc. Cost action points which generate over time. If you want to play more than 5 minutes, you have to pay real money.

At level 109 accumulating gold and minerals seems all but impossible now. Between fleet repair costs and losses from being attacked, its hard to say how progression is possible. May try a little while longer, but we think time has run out on this game since the server merge.
5 star to a 1 Star, going out like the company is apparently. Used to be a cool game, played for years. Took about 8 months off and for changing careers and really getting time crunched. Came back, last month they migrated from a bunch of servers to a single server. Apparently if you didnt login in that 30 days they deleted your account. No emails out to people who still had accounts, nope, they posted it on Facebook and inside their game. A merry screw you to anyone that didnt play that month. Talked to support, all we got was a well you should have logged on. Dont waste your time, there are other games out there that care about their player base.
Lost both accounts spent thousands. Since inception date lost interest when COVID-19 hit. Checked in periodically to maintain accounts. Then server merger happened lost 2 accounts on same server. BEWARE AN Games doesnt care about its players nor making the game better like replay. DO NOT SPEND $ on this game as thats the only thing the game creators want.
Our husband and we have multiple servers each and have spent a ton of hours and money on this game. We both enjoy it a lot but this new server merge is absolutely horrific. We are both supposed to pick one of our servers and choose that to play from here on out. All the rest will be deleted. How do you pick when each server has different heroes? Each server is played differently. If there is so many 4&5 star ratings and positive reviews, why are you changing it to ONE server? What about all the in game items we have been saving up and havent redeemed?Now we cant open the item to liquidate them. Why wasnt there more notifications about this merge with detailed information about what this merge is all about? How about allowing players to select their top 5 fleet heroes and top 5 planet heroes amongst all the servers and import them to the new server? Or better yet, Why not combine all the players resources and heroes into the one server? Seems like it would be fair considering all the time and money spend on the game. The server merge is Very Uncool all around.
Being genius 75% of the time the game wont start. Have to exit and try again multiple times to start the game.
The game incorporates lots of fun and easy to learn features that keep you on your toes as you level up and progress through the game. The combat system is magnificent and so is the skill and hero system. This is a great game for both beginners and experienced gamers. Lots of fun.

If you can take your time and build a strong platform this game is fun. Been playing steadily over a year and never really disappointed. Haven't spent a penny so it's not a money pit game like other similar formatted games.

Have tried many games, but this one Ive played continuously for over a year now. The tutorial in the beginning facilitates a solid foundation in helping how to play. An available community is always on chat to assist directly. This is the only game in the palm of our hand which essentially resembles an MMO one would typically play on a PC or console! Thanks guys; keep up the great work! For everyone else reading this, download & give it a try; you wont be disappointed.
Fun game. Interesting. If you like games that require management this is it and its not overbearing. Most importantly, the support if needed is first rate. Almost wish you had to spend real money to play. The game and people are worth it.
We are very happy with the different types of attributes each character can have. This game allows you to mix and match fleet members to make the most effective team possible. The way you can increase training and levels is most fair and reasonable we would recommend this app to all our friends.

Ive played a number of multiplayer online games, and while some may have their gimmicks, few stand alongside Astronest. It is both challenging and addictively fun, and the developers keep adding the occasional surprise or two to help keep it interesting as you play. There are a number of aspects to this game which we thoroughly enjoy, including a rewarding nation building system, robust technology research trees for weapons and fleets, and a dynamic approach to hero development with a broad range of skills sets to utilize. In regards to combat, it might appear relatively simple up front, but there are numerous strategies to employ, making each battle in war unique. With a number of formations to deploy your fleets, along with the varied fleet, weapon and unique hero skill sets, it is a constantly evolving challenge to stay ahead of. As if that wasnt enough, there are a number of different ways to battle, encouraging you to mix things up and learn as you progress. You can engage in PvP war to increase your economic resources (gold, minerals, and unique materials called cosments from one of thee warring regions), there are twice daily pursuit ladders against an increasingly difficult set of villains, there are infinitely playable campaigns, and defending against massive alien raiders, which allies can assist you with. You can also battle with your allies in friendly skirmishes, or test yourself in the ultimate challenge, league battle against other players. Each facet of battle presents a unique set of challenges and rewards that allow you to continually improve your nation, fleets, characters (this is key), or support trons (essentially skill and experience enhancing computer droids that you assemble). Theres also a buildable system of collectible modules to help give your nation a number of useful bonuses, boosting your resources, your Action Points (AP is your action currency),or even helping you find rare aliens. On top of this, there are frequent events and rotating bonuses to help you focus on improving characters, planets, research, etc. Add in wonderful support and an active (and stand up) Facebook community, and you have found the game you are looking for. Whether you play for just a few minutes, or binge in an all out war session (mercifully, there is a fast forward button for battles – especially for long slogs against aliens), there is always time for Astronest. Download and enjoy! The real.
This game is entertaining, but a whole lot of the same thing if you get our meaning. Not a lot of variety.
The games pretty good. Not the newest graphics or the coolest flair page but it has substance… And thats hard to find anymore… So if you want a time waster thats actually fun give it a go.
Fun interactions. Numerous aspects of game play, so not monotonous. Could improve process of increasing research sections. Any more than a couple of improvements at a time, and it becomes tedious.
We don't do reviews very often. We played and paid a crap tin of this game and got to max level after several months of playing. Love the auto battle feature it was the main reason we kept playing. But once we hit max level the money we spent (which we could have bought two Xbox games at full price) the game hit a point where either A. We paid a cheap ton more for constant entertainment, or B. Played for several more months just to max out. But seriously what ticks us off the most is how even when you're not playing and get caught in war and lose, you get hit with SEVERE penalties. Huge chunks of gold and minerals and AP points out the window. After not playing for 5 days ( we were hit with a 54 million gold bill, 45 million mineral bill and 358 AP to recover. That's seriously just wrong to do. Unethical, immoral and just plain unfair. All that loss for not even logging in. You just lost a person that loves the hell out of this game. 5 stars for great gameplay but your money hunger and greed has brought this down to 3 stars. We would have kept spending money on this cause we felt you deserved it, but this is down right just rude to do this for taking a small break from your game. It's too bad we enjoyed it so much, for it to come to this; rather than just finally getting bored, because we felt we would have still kept playing the hell out of this game.
Awesome game recommended awesome game so we deleted it some time ago for space on our iPod and we re downloaded it and our progress was still there !!!!! And last time we downloaded it we were using a different phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!we so recommend it also we are very man that you can go a hole round without your fleet firing any weapons and we are very mad about that.
Take the time to read some of the negative reviews already listed here. People have had issues with in-game purchases, and so did we. Twice Its got decent graphics. Its a space game. Its not overly buggy Thats about it for the positives. Ive been playing this game since 2016. Since that time, whenever Ive had a few extra bucks here or there, we might toss the game some of it for a little feel good boost. We understand how the micro transaction system works. However, when something goes wrong with that purchase, you dont feel good. Instead, you feel stupid for tossing money at game that you couldve used on something else. Two times, this has happened. Once, about a year ago we made a purchase, and they ran an unscheduled update while we were spending the money on the purchase in-game and ended up losing the entirety of our purchase. Their response; next time dont spend money around an update. Did we mention it was unscheduled? The second time (this past weekend); they advertised something. We bought it. We only got half of what was advertised. We contacted them and their response this time was; well be careful about this going forward, but since youve already spent some of the items you bought, we cant help you Ive spent enough money in this game to purchase a new console. Am we a whale? No.. But Im a repeat customer. They do not care about that though. They would rather lose your business than budge on correcting their mistakes… Read that again; they would rather lose your business than correct THEIR mistakes. Not our mistake or misunderstanding. Its an ok game to play for free, but there is too much risk involved with spending money.
Pretty awesome game, its not pay to win, and its pretty well balanced. We did spend some money on it, its our way to support the developers and the game. But you can definitely play the game and grind and get everything you need without spending money. But if you like it, support them, it keeps the game going.
The game is very playable, great start at the beginning it begins to slow down though with needing many materials. When you start you need to get your material production as high up as you can get it. Have fun.

We just started and a bit way into it already it's not Grindy but a tad too easy to level up and such but other then that it's great.
We have only recently come across this nice little game. We just hit lvl 15 which is just getting out of the newbie ranks. So far, the game has been very enjoyable and strongly stays FTP. Yes you can make in game purchases for better heroes and other items, but nothing of the basic game has been restricted to cash purchase only. Also we have been impressed by complexity inherent between heroes and research when added to fleets (and havent even hit trons yet (cyborgization)). About the only thing we see as a long term irritation is randomness in special loot drops. Anyways, good job AN Games.
Excellent game even when playing for free. The folks who run the game are constantly updating content. Even when playing for free if you play on a regular basis you can upgrade equipment and commanders develop fun to play fleets etc. Just not as fast or as good as pay to play but still legit. If you enjoy a simplistic game play with large amounts of real customizations (not just upgrades but real changes in gameplay) you might enjoy this game.
Game mechanics are easy enough to grasp, Ive played multiple instances of game on several platforms, Game is intensely entertaining. 5 stars for those who thought it up and those who brought game to market. Excellent Game.
We play very little mobile games in the first place, so as soon as we find out one is pay to win Im out! The pay options in this game is just to enhance your experience, but its free to advance forward in the storyline and side features. Yes, it does take a little grinding but nothing more than any other game. Would recommend for deep immersive sci-fi with lots to do.
Strategy, farming/grinding and chance! Also lasers, missiles and mother ships.
Dont care for the way that low level opponents can buy crystals and tech and then kick your aass.
This game takes a while and can be a bit confusing at first, but for the low low price of zero dollars you can do anything in the game, no purchase necessary. Sure there are in-app purchases available, but theyre just something to give yourself a boost if you want it, and arent something you cant get without a little bit of work. Also the chat is really helpful if you have any questions, where other players help and answer them for you.
Overall we give them an A grade. Very well written AI that works how intelligence is designed to work. Huh imagine that? Its fun to play and if you trash your first account have no fear there are several other servers to start fresh on.
One of our favorite games on the iPhone. 5 Stars. Addictive and not a money pit.
