We love this game but have relayed on the optional ads to give us clues. They dont seem to available any longer. Why is that.
We almost never pay for games. But this one is well worth itthe puzzles are challenging, and well designed. There is just the right amount of challenge to keep it interesting, without too much frustration.
This Game is great the only we dont like is the ads WOULD SOMONE PLEASE GET RID OF THE ADS THEY ARE JUST IN MY WAY THANKS we HAVE BOUGHT THIS GAME AND DID NOT PLAY FOR A WHILE AND THEN WHEN we WENT TO REDOWNLOAD THE GAME AGAIN THE ADS VIDEO ADS JUST POPPED UP AND DONT LIKE THATJUST GET THE VIDEO ADS OUT MY WAY THANKS.
We like this game a lot except for one thing. Im 72 and our vision is pretty good but we wish you wouldnt use designs on the sqares that are so easy to mix up. Theres brown with circles, brown with squiggles, pinkish brown with a pattern that looks like the stitching on a soccer ball You get the idea. Please use colors/patterns that are more distinctly different from one another! Thank you.
Since roughly 1/1/22, this app will not work right – theres a row of fused, nonfunctional symbols across the bottom of the screen. This app used to be a reliable standard; now its being deleted.
We love the music and sound effects, but we wish we could turn up the sounds – theyre very calming! Gameplay itself is smooth and addictive, and you feel very satisfied when you complete a puzzle. Puzzle difficulty scale is about right, maybe a little overzealous, but you pick up the new levels pretty fast. Overall, this game is a lot of fun and very challenging! Plus, there are a TON of puzzles.
Really makes you think, but no so difficult that its enjoyable. So glad we downloaded it! Great for an older brain like ours to keep sharp.
Just cleared world one and we're looking forward to playing this game all the way to the end! It's challenging but never impossible. The feeling of satisfaction when the pattern is completed is usually very rewarding.
Some games get too hard too fast. With Aurora Hex, we have been enjoying it for many months. The puzzles get more challenging, but your skill increases, too. Relaxing and interesting both.

We really like this puzzle! So many possibilities and challenging perspectives. The only thing that would make it easier is the ability to scroll when zoomed as the complex grids are so teensy on our phone. Thank you.
We WILL GET HOLD OF APPLE SECURITY OF NOT CORRECTED IMMEDIATELY! YHE DEVELOPER GIVES AN OPTION TO OPT OUT OF SHARING USERS DATA. IN SETTINGS ,THERE IS THE OPTION TO TOGGLE TO YES OR NO. BUT WHEN YOU TAP GO THIS THE TOGGLE IS AUTOMATICALLY ON YES. NOT OKAY! WHAT IS WORSE ? TOGGLE TO NO,(no do Not share our data), AND LEAVE SETTINGS. BUT, we ALWAYS GO BACK IMMEDIATELY TO SETTINGS TO CONFIRM THAT THIS ACTION we DID BY TOGGLING TO NO, (our privacy is important to us), IS SET. SON OF A GUN! NO THE ACTION AUTOMATICALLY WEMT BACK TO YES. SEVERAL TIMES we DID THIS. EVERY TIME we we WENT BACK TO THAT SETTING IT SWITCHED TO YES. TJIS IS BREAKING THE APPLE RULES. We BELIEVE IT IS INSIDIOUS AND NOT BY ERROR! AGAIN CORRECT THIS IMMEDIATELY. We WILL CONTACT APPLE! Deleted.
Update: The bug to fix identical swaps had definitely NOT been fixed. Had a bunch in infinity mode 667. Should you have to use a hint, there is a very good chance that identical tiles will be swapped.
There is a bug in this game when we open the app and we cant select the levels it is just a blank screen plz fix it.
The soothing sounds in Aurora Hex are just the thing to help us relax after a tough day or as a distraction on a sleeplessness night. There are very few annoying adds and even those dont break in with twice the volume or worse yet a racket that somehow overrides your silent mode. These puzzles are progressively challenging and provide a satisfying sense of victory upon completion that ends with a gentle tada! Sound. This game is a win win for busy executives but it also appeals to small children who can easily expand their thinking capabilities and spatial reasoning while playing the the lowest level. We need more of these kinds of apps.
But they stopped letting you watch ads for hints.
Love this game. It's just the right level of challenging. The ads aren't even that horrible and we'd even be willing to pay to get rid of them. That being said… There are a set of ads that just don't work. You can sit there for hours and the "30 seconds" will never pass. As soon as we see these pop up we have to x out and just throw that hint away. Fix it and you've got a five star review.
A Wowwie game….it's our go 2….so many levels and fun…we're on level 98 just about to unlock the daily puzzles…can't express how satisfying this game is…look forward to playing it whenever we get a chance…because when we start we don't want to quit…thank u developers.
The ads arent too intrusive, but they get tiresome. Wish there was an option to remove them. Hints are nice, but Id pay $ to stop the ads. Gameplay is relatively easy & relaxing. Difficulty progression, after a certain point, is pretty flat (puzzles are similar) with occasional puzzles being difficult. Im on world 9, #20, and we think it was a puzzle in this world that was especially hard. It had only one tile on the board, and we had to use a hint to solve it. (This isnt a complaint… Just heres what we experienced). We never listen to game music or sounds, so no comment on that. Btw, the other game by this developer (we think we also called Aurora but with square tiles) is similar enough that we found it redundant. Between the two, we like hex better so we deleted the other. However, the line game, where you draw lines around numbers corresponding to the number, is different and fun. We also found it much more challenging than hex.
Every time we find an app or game that we enjoy, we cant help but wonder: who is really putting this in front of us? Is there some mystical cult significance to the hexagon? Are these patterns meant to hypsbotize us into certain thought patterns as we complete them? If we cant see this games creators, how can we be sure they created it solely for entertainment? How much geometric propagandacan developers pack into one app? It kinda makes a fella wonder…. And this is a great engaging puzzle game. At the rate the difficulty is increasing we foresee legitimate and fulfilling challenges in our future.
Nice change of pace. Makes you think a bit different than other games.

These puzzles keep us going for hours. And the app doesnt bombard you with ads like most freemium mobile games. Highly recommend. So much better than other hexagon puzzle games.
