Love this game and for only the 1 time purchase we will follow and buy this companies games whenever we see them. The storyline is great, the gameplay is fun. And no IAPs.
Why am we just now finding out about this game? OMG.
So Ive had this game ever since it became available on the Apple App Store, bought it one time and that was it. Coming back to it now, we now no longer own it. What changed to revoke our access to the FULL GAME we PURCHASED? Why do we need to RE-PURCHASE something Ive already bought? Apple you SERIOUSLY NEED to double down on YOUR App Store. There are blatant frauds going on. Do not hurt the ACTUAL GAME DEVELOPERS. We LOVE THIS GAME! We love the developers of this game! Do right by them.
We love this game so much. We played it first years ago when we were in the hospital and our dad said hey play this. Ever since our passion for this game and all the others made by Supergiant have had our heart. The story, the gameplay, and most importantly The Music. By god the music. Darren Korb knows how to make such beautiful music. So thank you Supergiant for making this masterpiece for us to enjoys years after. Even if our heart belongs to Transistor just a bit more.
We havent bought a game in years. What a great game. A nod to the classics but truly original.
We paid the 4.99 one time fee, but the game isnt let us past that screen it just keeps having us start a new game all over again which we have several times and keep getting stopped at the in app purchase screen. Fix this issue and Ill change our star rating for the app. Update: They put out a fix and it worked great no more in app screen. Love this game for its simplicity.
So this game is an RPG game with some platformer aspects like for example, going through levels to get better loot and even though its old its art style and gameplay plus the combat is all incredible this is a 10/10 game that we highly recommend for mobile users and anyone whos looking for a good mobile game and good story, plus the voice acting is the best of any game in our opinion (Atleast for the narrator) and even though its a. Older game the unique art style makes it feel like the graphics are not outdated AT ALL so please PLEASE get this game and give it a go! Its so good that so far we dont really want any updates (we dont think they update the game though) since everything is near perfect (we dont believe in anything being completely perfect but if we did we would say this is perfect.) So this is our favorite mobile game (plus as people get older the average mobile games where you are a Stickman fighting zombies or something starts to get boring FAST not saying thats true for you but its true for us).
We love the game so much.Cool fights,weapons and a lot more.there is one problem.we played the game for then minutes. Our battery was down 10 to15 percent. Is there a way to fix that issue?pls let us know.
The gameplay is suitable to our favorite, one setback we hate about this game is the control system, its better if you add a move button to the bottom left of the screen and the hit button on the bottom right so that game will be easier for players to function.
Frame rate slows to a stuttering crawl when a plethora of enemies are on screen. Additionally, controller support is not fully implemented. Menus should be navigable without touch screen. Also, touchscreen buttons should be eliminated offscreen when controller is in use, which would limit the obscuring clutter onscreen. Poor formatting prevents this from being what would be an otherwise excellent experience.
We finished the game. Didnt play it for a long time. Then we wanted to play again. We needed to pay 5.99 (or was it 4.99)again. Although it saved all our weapons which is dumb because it should save the full game. But its overall fun. We think it SHOULD save the full game if its gonna save our weapons. But like we said its fun.
Hades from these guys run far smoother, which is confounding. Been out of the Apple ecosystem a while. What happened to make these old games run so bad.
On our base iPhone 15, Im getting some serious frame rate issues. Ive played through this game on other platforms and havent had this issue. Disappointed that this great game is borderline unplayable.
We really enjoyed the gameplay without a doubt But it is honestly aggressively overshadowed by the egregiously bad auto save system Just look online for people having save problems and you will know what we mean. It is EXTREMELY easy to lose hours of progress and tons of people have. The real challenge in the game is making sure you dont lose progress and waste your time due to it not allowing you to save and the ineptitude present in the implementation of the auto save system. We would normally give one star for such a fatal game ruining error, but the gameplay is fun so Ill give it one extra star, even if the taste is so bad in our mouth we havent wanted to open the game again. For the people being charged twice or being resold the game, dont be afraid to sail the seven seas and play on PC. If a company is going to screw you over screw them back.
So, this was a free game, but now your charging us $5 to play a game we already had. Whats going on? This game was better free, but now youre gonna lose people because we lost all our data and now have to buy it.
The game is amazing not only that you get to play as the character during your adventures. You hear the narrator as you interact in the game and the narrator is the one that the narrator was that NPC you first meet. So far we like the storyline along with the narration.
Beautifully narrated with enough going on to keep you motivated to continue playing.
We purchased the full game and it refuses to let us play the full game. Our rating will change once they fix this issue.
Seemed like a super fun game. Then it prompted us to buy it, and we did. We cant progress past that screen and the developer wont fix it. Dont buy.
Dont bother purchasing the full game because it makes you repeat the free version over and over without ever allowing you to move on.
This game was recommended to us by a friend when it first came out but we never had a chance to play it. After playing and loving Hades we decided to go back and give this a try. Unfortunately its just not fun. The controls dont make any sense, damaging or receiving damage is the same color, switching between weapons is awkward and so on. Maybe it was better on a console, but on mobile its not a good game.
Ive played lots mobile games and ports and this is by far one of the best one the controls are smooth and simple the graphics are beautiful and the narration of the story is gripping. The upgrade system and different perks and special moves gives this game some great depth but not to much that its daunting. We can honestly say that having not played bastion when it originally came out and finally getting to put time into it it is well worth the $5. If your looking for a good action rpg this is a must try.
This is some of the coolest audio Ive ever seen. The narration adapts to the fight scenes, your weapon choices, the monsters, and the story arch. The music fits perfectly. It has an awesome and very unique vibe. We highly recommend it for ARPG fans.
Be advised that the in-app purchase for the full game does not work. We personally reached out to Supergiant tech-support, and they were really kind and suggested we request a refund from Apple. Apple refunded us within a day, and super giant also said they would email us when the glitches fixed. Hang in there.
Absolutely touching, this passion project has us hooked still 10 years later. Always looking forward to what supergiant will do next.
Bought, got about half way and it wants us to buy again. Ans there is no way to fix it. Just don't.

This game is SOOOOOOOOO good! Best $4.99 Ive ever spent.
We dont possess the words to properly describe how good this game is. We played it when it was new back in 2011 and loved it then. Found it in iOS while we were bored with no wifi, and playing through it again we are just as blown away with it as we were the . The best part about this is having it on mobile allows it to be played by people who may not come across it normally. It plays just as good on mobile as it did on Xbox back then. Maybe better since screens on phone blow away TVs of the day. Everything: gameplay, sound design, music, dialogue. We cant recommend this, and other SuperGiant Games enough. They are just amazing.
We love any game that doesnt constantly charge you money to stay relevant !! Ive been looking for old-school games like this to play on our phone while waiting for this and that.
This is just an incredible game. An experience you wont forget. We first watched our younger brother play this on his pc from start to finish almost 10 yrs ago. We were so taken with the story and the soundtrack that we remember downloading Zias song and playing it on repeat. Our brother unfortunately is no longer with us, may he Rest In Peace, but this game is a solid beautiful memory we shared. Now that we randomly thought about this game again and found the app, Ive played and already beat the game in a couple of days. Its challenging, and has ways to increase the difficulty, but still so fun that right after we finished, we ran back in to went play it all over again on the new game plus version. For us, this game isnt just beautifully drawn, wonderfully narrated, and fun from beginning to end. We feel emotionally connected to this game after almost a decade of seeing it played for the first time. Bastion forever has our love and respect. To the developers that worked tirelessly to bring this art to us, thank you. Youve truly created something special, but Im sure you know that but now. Play the game. You wont regret it.
Im only five minutes in and WoW!!! Already purchased full version. No words can adequately describe how masterful of a gem this is!! And sounds like Morgan Freemans much cooler younger brother narrating is a bonus. Everyone should experience this gme we Love it.
Who gave yall permission to create such an amazing game?? Its better then we could imagine, the music, the voice acting, the action. We know this is an old game but we thought hades was great and now we see where the amazing things about that gave originated from! Ive seen people talk about this game and review it but there really nothing you can say to justify it. If your on the fence, download it, tell everyone in the house to leave you alone for a hour or 2, grab some good headphones and let the game show you what made us write this review thats all we can say.
Hands down one of our favorite games on iOS. Great graphics, fun campaign, and fantastic soundtrack to go along with it. Super fun. 100% worth it.

The narrative has a strange way of expressing the show, dont tell. In the form of an old storyteller. That, and the music is outstanding.
The gameplay of this game is pretty good. And Id say the graphics are just as good. The only thing bad we have to say about this game is that the whole thing isnt free. To purchase the full game it is $4.99. So, just be mindful about that and remember that you are only playing a demo.

We first played in on Pc although its clear thought was put into the mobile version as well it is the full game after paying for it and its just as good as the first.
Great graphics, mechanics, storyline, and the narrator is actually cool. We like the difficulty too; not too hard, not too easy. Definitely recommend.
Great graphics. Love the Morgan Freeman like voice. And the story is nice so far. And we like the ability to change our battle strategy as we want. But we didnt like the free game intro to paid aspect. But it was worth the cost so far.
We played the switch version after a recommendation from RGT 85 on YouTube. We believe the full game price was around the same on the switch. We highly recommend this game it's worth the money. The gameplay and constant narration of your every action we're great! The weapon challenge make the combination of upgrades meaningful and force you to practice and learn how to use every weapon and mechanic.
Cool game, definitely like it, would like to see another version of it later on.
This game is mesmerizing! We have never payed for an iPad game before because we felt it wasnt worth it but this game is worth every penny. The gameplay is smooth and the story is beautiful! Absolutely love it.
