We like this a game it is a great.
We used to like this game. We played it for a while a few years ago. We recently tried to play it again and every time we try to do anything in the game it crashes.
We used to love playing this game years ago but had to stop playing when we couldnt figure out how to beat the War Hog in Mt. Magma. We redownloaded and still dont see any way forward to meet the recommended power level rating. We saw a video that said the you can block the boss snipe by putting 3 smokey bears on your team. So we’ve been trying to collect the pieces to a lame rare monster for over 3 weeks. 8 we like playing the game but we dont understand how Im supposed to continue.
Bought maybe 3 9.99$ packs, but was not fulfilling. No real events. Not really many players to speak of. Gameplay is repetitive and a bit boring. Its fun if you like puzzle games, but we cant recommend this to anyone really. You can find exactly what you want somewhere else.
This game is such a fun concept. Like gem grab mixed with Pokmon. BUT there are soooo many monsters and youre given sooo few inventory slots. In order to level your creatures you need to sacrifice a specific permutation of others. Creatures are also required for many missions, and for strengthening others. Moral to the story you need ALOT of slots. You start with few and to get more you need to pay real money. If you do not, most of the game is spent managing inventory slots rather than playing. Come on guys, dont be so stingey. Its killing your game.
Horrible game honestly, we cant even progress pass the penny badge because although we complete the final quest of defeating the bosses for the windigo badge we do not receive it even though everyone else in our group did .
The game is fun but over time its the same thing over and over again, u can play for a while tho having fun. We usally stop playing and start playing again a couple months later. Still very fun tho. Playing with friends is great.

We’ve played this game on and off for many years. The community aspect and the fact that you can trade monsters makes this game worthwhile. Our favorite event is PvP, however, your opponents will force-quit the app when theyre losing which ruins the whole thing. When this happens, you will not be awarded the win, your app will freeze and you could lose the energy you spent to enter the battle. We wish they would fix this because majority of the players (especially those on the android os) do this to avoid taking a loss. Consequently, you will lose more than win simply because your wins arent being logged properly. Too many players abuse this glitch and its very frustrating.
We love this game but it is definitely a pay to win/play game. If you try not to pay and just free to play and stack energy for long period of time its frowned upon because stacking energy discourages players from spending. We’ve also noticed some of our friends being banned from the game and they get zero communication from support in tickets or they are blocked on Facebook messenger so cant contact Penny that way and emails to SafeLaneGaming are ignored. However people in top troops can get away with much more than a normal players and a blind eye is turned to them. So if youre going to play this dying game do not spend a penny on it and youll have no regrets up until u hit the Lost Temple cap and theres nothing left for you to do. SLG should be much more giving to the players still keeping this game alive. With only 8,000 people playing events now days it wouldnt hurt to be a little more generous to the community its not like youve got 20,000 people playing like last year. Increase drop rates on spins increase the stone drops increase the trophy rewards benchmarks or at least advertise to get more players into this game.
Once we got to a certain point in the game, completed the campaign and was just participating in events, there was a glitch that happened to our account where if we tried to battle, the game would crash and send us to our phones home screen. We thought this was just a phone issue so we tried another phone and it did the same thing. However, if we make a new account, this issue isnt there, so it makes us wonder if the game is purposefully crashing so we have to invest more time into a new account. Our old account was at 500k power and we wouldnt have gotten to that level if it werent for our troop and trading with members in the troop. Otherwise, our account would have just plateaued.

Banned players for free speech and threaten only to unban them if they retract statements and have others play in events and spend money. Abusive devs, would highly advise not to download.
We’ve had this game for ages and personally we love it. Or loved. But we just downloaded it again on a new phone and we cant even battle. It kicks us out of the whole app every time we try to battle anything. Please fix this Id like to keep playing.
Our android couldnt receive the update so we were without game. Now have iPhone 3 years later, Im back in One feature we want is to sort our monsters by rarity, so we can easily get rid of 1* monsters.
We played this game for a long time but then fell off and stopped because our team sort of disappeared from not being consistent. Also its difficult to achieve goals without a team. Its a fun game but the game we really liked was the mini game Mosaic. We dont know why this game isnt standing on its own. To the developers, please consider it!!!
We love this game. We’ve played it off and on for years. It could use a few updates and bug fixes. But its still one of our favorite games.
1st issue the game kicking you out when you try to battle 2 the amount of energy you get is ridiculous make it unlimited you will get more players that way 3 make feeding monsters cost less stones 4 give free legendary monsters away once a month 5 and a bank or something to store unused monsters in for later use raid shadow legends has a champion vault use that idea and build off of it 6 have staff make a clan strictly for helping anyone level up no matter there level.

Not worth playing if you constantly get kicked out the game. Wasting energy trying to battle for the game to kick you out. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME!
Great game however we can only play for about 2 minutes before we run out of energy, it caps off at 5 and thats way too low. Wish we had more so we could play longer.
We downloaded this game maybe a couple years ago, played it for a while, and redownloaded it recently. It kept all our progress, which is cool, but the game feels like it has lost its touch. Events are regularly added, but it seems once you progress enough in the game, thatll be all you have. You have nowhere else to go. One of our personal biggest issue is since we’ve logged in, we’ve been in a troop we created a couple years ago. We would like to join a different one, but the issue is that we have someone in our troop that we cant remove in order to disban the troop. Their profile says they havent been active in 25 years, which isnt even possible lol. It seems new players dont come along often, either, so we struggle to add anyone to our troop. This game is so cute, and the mechanics are fun. We love so many things about this game, its really sad that it hasnt been kept up with or given enough love from its creators.
We have a good deck of specials and supers and then we get kicked and rejoin to find all our progress gone.
If there was an option for zero star that would have been selected. Money hungry company who wont fix the game. Then their new low banned honest high paying players for no reason claiming they were hacking their broken game. Then blocking those players from asking why even when they have proof they werent hacking with actual receipts of the transactions through events they were trying to place high in. If only BBB could be notified of their shady actions. Save yourself and never download this game cuz if you drop some actual cash in game you wont get the monster and then youll be banned. The developers should be ashamed of themselves.
When the iphone 10 came out we thought they were just slow with updating the game to fit the bigger screen sizes It feels so old and outdated with the black bars top and bottom when opening the app after a few years we mean the iphone 14 is out already and still hasnt been resolved? That shows the spirit and commitment of the developers. Regardless, game is as it was many years ago when we used to play. Still pay to win for the grand majority of it, and based on a lottery system for what monsters you get and if not you have to grind many more hours for another attempt or get 5 more attempts for in app purchases. It begs for your card at every step of the way. We loved this game, it has so much potential, Im at 400k PR which says something if you know anything about the game. We’ve experienced what there is to experience with it we just wish the developers kept up with it.
Love the game. Its really fun. Every once in a while we come back to it and it seems like we never left. Slight problem though. For some reason, recently we’ve been getting kicked every time we try to battle. We get our energy stolen and kicked from the game. Please fix.
This game always bugs after update and so many thing really bad . The game didnt connect to other social to let players trading monster without Facebook login . Poor technically ,bad graphic ,something avatar got glitches . Also can not do name change .
We had to delete this game from our phone because it absolutely refused to connect to a server and we’ve had this game for almost a month now. When we choose the option to log in with our apple it does nothing and now we cannot get back into our game and we’ve lost all of our progress! We don’t want to have to restart every time because your log in system doesn’t work properly!
Been playing since release, too many problems that we dont even really know where to begin with this. Just listen to the community and other reviews. 1 star IMO. (not f2p we’ve spent $200+ atleast so take with grain of salt? Or dont ig up to you)
Every time we join a battle with a monster, it takes us out of the game, and it because we have an epic monster in our team, is so injustice we cant use our best monster in the game! Fix it and ill give 5 stars.

We are not new we’ve played the game before but we just now signed into a account, its really fun but we’ve seen some people complaining once you get past lost temple you have nothing to do, Im not there yet so right now Im enjoying it once we reach the end we will help others in events and other stuff but we would recommend it and once you get to lost temple you can play a lot less.
Overall the game is fun, just takes a while to get going and building teams, especially when its basically pay to win.
We had an epic monster that we added to our team then whenever we tried battling anything the game would crash :( we were excited to use them but ig we cant progress with it!!
Our keyboard was halfed so we cant type full words and our name was then FURMMMMM. Why. Just why. Please fix this we know we may be a bit sensitive but this bothers us.
We used to be such a huge fan of this game. We cant even play anymore, the game constantly crashes any time we try to fight a monster or talk to a NPC. We hope this gets fixed soon.
This game has so much potential and we know that if enough people find this game it will explode. There are A LOT of issues with the game though. The first and worst issue is that the game is dead. We cant find anyone online or in the chat. The second issue is that the game has ads that pop up all the time that want you to spend money on the game. The third issue is that the game feels old and outdated. We think that the developers need to make Battle Camp 2. Remaking the game would not only be epic but it would give the game a nice clean slate to build off of which it really needs. Maybe this game will explode but the developers will need to not only acknowledge them but they will also need to fix the issues of this game.
Listen, we played this game as a kid a lot, and we would occasionally re-download the app out of curiosity. We like some of the monster designs, the gameplay is simple enough, and the OST is actually pretty great. But of course, micro transactions strike again. Im currently at War Hogs boss battle. Its extremely difficult to get past the final stage of this fight with the F2P monsters the game gives you (events, puzzle pieces, etc). We havent ever gotten past 30% of the final monsters health. Theres just a random difficulty spike and the easiest option is to buy limited time monsters, which may we add, arent cheap. We really wish this game was more concerned with gameplay then money printing.
While we do enjoy some aspects of this game, like the puzzles and the monsters, we hate the mechanics and quests of it. Now we know quest are vital in this game, in fact every game in we played has them and give out good rewards. Its HOW the quest are presented and used in the game. Some quest are good and okay, but others like having to fight 4 monsters just to wash a stick and fight 8 monsters when our total energy amount is only 5? The energy limit and the buzzard time consuming quest are horrendous and once the ad offers go away, youre done. The game gets aggravating with the second level because this wind walker guy just wants us to battle monsters all day and waste energy. Not to mention the God-awful waiting period for eggs to hatch. Its a good mechanic for some games, but for this case it isnt. For a puzzle and dragon inspired and Pokmon game not everyone is gonna wait an hour for that one gorilla guy to hatch. Thats just our take on everything. We did enjoy the designs of the monsters, the graphics (okay graphics) and the puzzle mechanic, but some things are very aggravating here.
We were doing a sidequest to collect 5 wet lillies after taking 10 energy to collect 4 of them it cost another 5 to get the last one because usually it goes to 20% 60% then 100% for the catch rate on the last one the it didn’t even show up for the next the battles and it took another two to catch it.

We love playing battle camp but there’s this bug that makes it so you crash everytime you initiate a fight please fix this, we really want to play the game.
But ok the mission to fight love joy it takes our energy and then closes the game.
Came back to this after years and it wont allow a battle. We’ve lost 15 energy just trying to play the game. Every time we go to battle the entire app closes down.
We think the game is really fun we just wish that the goals arent to complicated to complete and the wait times are ridiculous we waited 190 slow seconds to do a PvP and it said it couldnt find a match and you could assign more goals and missions and not just do one at a time and just add more levels and fix the connection on it other games barely take less than a few seconds to find a match so why does this game need a whole slow minute to load a PVP not just a match were you have 10 v 10 but barely even 1v1 but yea we enjoy this game we just wish it can improve.
We recently wrote a one star review because the game was crashing during every instance of battle. We actually was able to have someone fix this issue the same day through discord. This was the coolest form of support we’ve seen in any game. The issue itself was goofy considering it was a free holiday monster that caused this issue, but no they less the issue was fixed same day and very easily once we made it aware. Now we can play this fun game once again. :)
