Dive into Beglitched

Beglitched is a game about insecurity, in our computers and ourselves. In a pastel world of networks where nobody truly knows what they’re doing, hacking is a magical art and the notorious Glitch Witch is the most premium archmagi of the net. By random circumstance, YOU are her new apprentice. You must use your wits and cunning to unravel the mechanisms of an alien computer and survive amongst a veritable web of clowns, leftclickers, and filedraggers.

Match 3 innovation?!? No, srsly. Some really thoughtful mechanics and clever puzzles, a nice story, great value. Best match 3 since Puzzle Quest Galactrix!

Remarkably creative and engaging puzzler which is taken to a higher level by great design feel, attention to detail, and truly outstanding storytelling.

Edit: seems like our phone was bugging out and we needed to restore with the latest update, not the games fault it failed to save. Im really enjoying it now! Vibe is great and very interesting take on match 3.

That being said, there are a few places where things are outright not explained and as such led to many hours of frustration before just looking up answers online. Catnet and spamnet are by far, the most frustrating levels (Im fairly certain catnet took a few days off our lifespan just out of how angry we would get before finding a strategy that worked for us. Especially the last boss of that level who we had no idea how they operated for quite a while). We loved the gameplay and execution of glitchnet and its honestly really sad to see it end so soon afterwards, but understandable in terms of the story. Would be nice to have an endless mode or something similar. Overall, the game and story are pretty nice.

We don’t ever write reviews, but just even when we got to the main menu, we immediately realized how cute is was, and the puzzles were mind-boggling in the best way possible. If you like adorable games, and love intriguing puzzles, this is your game. Plus the mini story behind it is mysterious and is constantly reeling us in. Great game overall!

This game is super cute and very well made. It makes you think pretty hard at some points, we had a bit of trouble. The gameplay is a lot of fun. We’re only sad that the game was so short. Also, we can’t see the sides of the ‘laptop’ as they’re cut off on our iPhone SE. We had no idea the sticker to the bottom left was a fish until the game pointed it out.

Honestly, this is one of the best games we’ve ever played in our entire life. Its frustrating and funny and colorful and sweet all wrapped around one of the best puzzle games we’ve ever had the pleasure of cursing at. We were worried it would be too short and Id have wasted your money, but this game has earned every cent we spent on it and more. We dont think we’ve ever seen a game on iOS with worldbuilding like this one has. Bravo, game devs. Ill happily pick up anything else you put out.

We agree with some of the other reviewers that its tough to figure out how to play this at first. Like… Really tough. That can mostly be accredited to the fact that theres really no other game like this, and thats also part of the appeal. You feel like youre sort of teaching yourself how to do this and it makes the gameplay even more rewarding once you start getting good at it. Once you do get the hang of how to play it though its a fully enthralling game thats hard to put down. Obviously the visuals are phenomenal, the story line and humor is very present without being overbearing, the style of gameplay is incredibly unique. All in all just a home run of a game, well worth the high price tag.

This is a great game but we can not understand the egg code!! Every time we think we understand it, we’re wrong!!! But it is a super fun game!!

When you play this it deserves patience and a relief. We can’t mention how many times we got stuck, however maybe the lack of understanding got the best of us? Overall we found myself really liking the game after several play and the idea behind was purely genius! If your still reading this, just get the game and share some feedback. Take care, Crosspadmasher.

This game is beautiful. We love it so much!

It’s charming, well-designed, and thought through. The dev behind this clearly has a lot of talent and worked hard on this. You’ll almost certainly like it.

Definitely a game for those looking to challenge themselves and think outside of the (adorable) box. We don’t suggest it to those looking for a fast-paced brainless game to pass the time. We just wish there was a sequel or more secrets to uncover.

IOS Editor’s Choice without a doubt. There’s so much to love here- the art, the story, the gameplay… Basically all of it. It took us a minute to get the hang of how to play, but once that clicks, it’s all from there!

The gameplay is just amazing and the way everything is designed draws you in. It’s a little confusing in the beginning but once you got it, the game is a blast. The mechanics, gameplay, and visuals make this game amazing. It makes you think outside of the box sometimes (literally). There are lots of secrets to discover and can help you in your game. Discovering new areas of the game is fun to do and this game is so well thought out. The only problems we have are that the game drains a lot of battery (probably couldn’t do much about that) and the game was disappointingly short. Even with the minor problems stated above, the game is amazing and definitely worth the money.

This is a great game! We really would like you to add an online mode, which has you choose where you will hide, and then blow up your opponent 5 times first. Oh, and an avatar creation for that mode would be cool.

This game is quite hard and tricky to understand, especially in the beginning. We enjoy the lovely aesthetic pixels however and the typing sound is actually pretty satisfying for us. Playing this game requires patience and a lot of motivation to complete but it’s actually really nice.

At the beginning, its very confusing and we still have yet to played.. But it would probably be a lot more fun if you actually knew how to play.

This game is so infuriating! It tricks you into doing brain puzzles, but it’s to adorable and addictive! We can’t stop playing! We’ve thrown our phone down in anger, then instantly picked it back up to continue playing! Let’s be honest it’s a pretty great game and it is worth the four dollars.

This game caught our eye with its adorable graphics. The dialog is entertaining and although we found it confusing at first it was only because we were rushing through. If you pay attention to the instructions it’s pretty easy to follow.

There’re much better games out there much cheaper than it.

We love the graphics and sound effects. The music is great too! That being said, this game is confusing as all get out! Sort of a cross between Minesweeper and match-3. Its hard to make sense of this game and the gameplay itself is not very addictive, but when we do play this, a weird thing happens… Before we know it, an hour will just fly by! So obviously, theres a LOT of potential for Beglitched to be a top-notch game, but it hasnt been updated in years! Too bad…

We have no idea what Im doing. It is easy to get stuck sometimes and easy to beat enemies without knowing how you did it. This bewildering aspect makes it not very fun. And you know what? Im smart! Go figure…

The core game is fun, but not fun enough to justify replaying entire sections of the game over and over every time you lose. How bout a halfway point? Gets tedious quickly.

Yeah. It’s not a hacking game also it’s not good puzzle game. It just needs good guess if you want to complete this game. It take so much time to figured out how we win witch only needs guess, not really puzzle. It is super cute. If you like cute things, you might be like this game, but only short time. It’s nothing worth to buying for us.. We try having fun with this game so bad, but finally we still can’t having fun this game.

Leaves a lot of things unanswered.

Awesome game but it doesnt save often enough. Instead of between each network layer, it only saves after you finish an entire section.

This game is super super cute, but its hard to understand and somewhat repetitive. Its basically a cute version of minesweeper and bejeweled.

Let us start by saying we don’t usually write reviews, but to be blunt this game doesn’t seem worth the price. We bought it because other reviews raved about it but to be honest you’re paying more for the aesthetic than for the game. Art style? Music? Writing? All great. But the game play really didn’t do it for us. We wanted to like this game, we really did, but like other critical reviews express: the game is unintuitive. The tutorial is haphazard and ultimately confusing. We wouldn’t call the levels puzzles, they feel more like randomly generated sequences of trial and error. Essentially you’re tossed into the deep end once the tutorial is over, which wasn’t very insightful to begin with. We don’t want to say we’re surprised this game has great reviews or come off as we’re bashing the developer but we think the critical reviews of this game have a point. Again we think the concept and aesthetic are wonderful, and the game has potential, but we didn’t feel a desire to pick it up more than once or twice. Tl;dr it’s a cute game, but probably not what most people would expect for an app with this price.

Game would be cool but it does not explain how to read symbols. It tells us that if an egg is shown in the screen of a computer then it’s not always an egg so we login to an egg and it is an egg! We have no idea how to play and it doesn’t give any information!

This game doesn’t explain anything well. The arrows point the wrong way, the icons seem random, the difference between compass and computer powers isn’t clear, knowing which board pieces will level up when linked vs adding to your energy/turns,$ is never clear, the legend only has some of the icons the game actually requires you to know…. It’s a mess. We’ve spent over an hour trying to figure this game out but it is a nightmare and we wish we could get a refund.

One of the first things the game tries to teach you is to avoid logging into computers that have an egg on the screen. (Esoteric in-game jargon) The screens are so small its pretty much impossible to tell what the icons are. The game is essentially unplayable on a small screen. Wish we could get our money back. Seems like it might be a fun game, but Ill never know.
