Great indie game with even better community. Pretty active discord with very nice devs that actually take your thoughts into consideration.

This is a visually pleasing game but the aspect of only the player rolling and being able to miss bothers us like why have the shield stat for the player when the monsters dont roll and either hit or miss instead it feels like a set path for each monsters attacks.

We were turned off by the other reviews but dont trust them. This was a great little D&D inspired dungeon crawl. Difficulty was well balanced – it takes a few runs to power up your chars. Text and monsters are well done and overall had a lot of fun. Unlocked 2 classes so far, looking forward to unlocking the others. Worth a download and play through for sure!

Has this game from the start and it has only gotten better, it had a short dungeon crawl in the beginning with little variety in equipment, spells, and monsters. Now with these past two updates they have made more equipment and monsters, made conditions a thing making combat more fun, added new dice for someone to strive to collect them all, and are even now making the game even better. We wish we could give this more stars.

Games ok Why are mimics an instant game over?

We just think they should update it because if they furthered this game it would be fun.

We’ve been playing with the rouge for a little bit and we found out that you can get 3+ salads heal you by three after each battle, and you can also get 3+ crossbows that add a d4 of damage, you can also get other items that increase any given stat several times, as well as many potions and other consumables.

Your weapons dont do much damage, the enemies do to much damage, and your health when you get there is barely enough to withstand any enemy thats above a spider or rat.

Some reviews are a bit too harsh,it seems. There isn’t a whole lot to this game. It’s fairly simple. There are no hidden fees. There’s not a lot of character growth either. It will tie up a days worth of time to finish most of the goals. Our only complaint is that we’ve never seen so many natural 1s roll on a d20 in our entire life Don’t expect anything deep. It’s a simple and fun dice based time killing rpg. Only one thing we would like to see added: the ability to run from a fight. Even having to roll against dexterity or something to see if you fail.

People complaining about how hard this is have never played a roguelike before. This is a fun game, if a little aggravating at times. Great work!!

Recent updates made to the game have improved it a great bit in our eyes. Very enjoyable and clean.

Its a decent game. Simple mechanics and a pinch of strategy that make it fun to play for a little while. However, once youve unlocked a couple of classes, it starts to get pretty stale. Whats the point of continuing to play just to unlock a new class with slightly different play style? As far as Im concerned there isnt one. Deleted it after a couple days.

We were happy after unlocking the rogue and playing countless matches however after the first two encounters we used a item and when the creature hit us it bugged our game and we could no longer continue the fight.

Dont get us wrong when we say this is a good game but you guys need to tone down the enemy damage just a bit we cant go one fight without getting bodied by an enemy because he hits a random critical we dont understand it we like the game just make the enemies a little easier so that people can get further.

Been playing the game a LOT since it came out its a fantastic take on a dnd rougelite that we never thought we would see. And for still being and early state of the game its a lot of fun with crazy combos that come up you wouldnt think of like the barbizard as a dev called it. The discord we would say is our favorite part of the game though its great being able to talk to and give feedback to the devs directly your opinion and thought definitely matter.

Saw that they read reviews so Ill say we actually do really like the game but the way you get your items is… Weird, wish they scaled in a better way. And we wish there were more options on the rooms you can choose! All in all we like the game, cant wait for more content.

Honestly we like Rng games but this game is the worse scale and balancing. First off the way you play is rolling for your initial stats this is cool but after the 1st enemy if you get a poor starting role you will die due to you rng. Then if you make it past the 1 few levels or fights you have to pick between an item or an encounter. If you pick the item or encounter early on you get punished, this because the monsters scale extremely fast at times if u take an item one turn and you didnt level up you will die. The damage you will do is very inconsistent during the same fight/encounter if you roll the same number more than once your damage will be higher or lower. There have been times where if we roll a 14 it will do more damage than a nat 20. Why? We really do not know. Beside that the enemy damage is always so high if chose to skip one fight due our low hp and get an item the next ball will be hell. We have to hope and pray for enemies to miss because they could one shot us with 15+ ( we have been hit with 30 damage in one attack [I’m 95% sure it was 30 because we had 25 or 29 hp and we got one shot]. Enemy attack damage feels very high a lot even when we have a weapon we seen to always do less damage even on a nat 20. We really like the concept of the game but please work on balancing the enemys damage, if they also have a dice behind their attack then please try to low the chance that they rip high. We feel like we are always getting huge chunks of our health taken away from us in a fight.

We dont get why people rate it badly. Its still in beta and there are big changes that will be coming in the future so give it time. Overall a really great game.

Played for a couple of hours tonight. Instantly sucked in. We cant wait to see whats coming in the future. We almost beat the Behoarder just now on a wizard run, but we failed. Time to try again.

Hi we love the concept and is a fun game overall but there are a few annoyances like how the trinket tab blocks part of the item selector and the trinket tab itself does not show you all of your trinkets. Another thing is after playing for a while items pile up and there is no way of discarding items that you have no use for so a trash button would be nice. Other than that the game is great. One suggestions we have is adding more creatures and items to give the game more variation and also adding a description of the monsters you face or giving them weaknesses to certain type of spells or if there already is make it more accessible.

The game its self is a great idea we love this style of games but the classes we need a little more balancing bcuz the rogue is so easy to play with bcuz of the steal its op, at the beginning up the second to last battle all u need to do is steal stuff and u can easily win and u can steal 3 to 4 pieces of items which is op so you even need to use the mysterious path bcuz its no longer needed. Overall, we think its a good game that just needs some more balancing plus more content.

We love this game, but the problem we have with it is that sure until you get a different class its a bit of grind but in our experience as soon as we got the rogue class we won in the 2nd attempt so maybe you could up the difficulty when you get a new class or something.

The game makes it impossible to grow high enough in levels while also staying alive and the boss comes way too soon.

The inventory system is incredibly unintuitive and there is not enough variety in weapons, enemies, classes etc., the spellcasting component doesnt really make sense. That all said, the game is a decent way to kill some time, and is pretty fun despite its shortcomings.

This game could be a LOT of fun, but it just isnt. We wish we enjoyed playing it, as the concept and design is solid, but as other have said the execution isnt there. Almost impossible to level high enough before facing a creature that kills you outright. We understand random chance, but its just not possible to gain enough levels to compete past the 4th or 5th encounter. The recent update helped a lot, but it wasnt even close to enough to make the game playable. Again, we love the concept and the style, and the dev is onto something with this game, but we just cant. Ill come back to try again after the next update.

We love this game but after a couple hours playing we were just getting low number 1-10 and if if you dont decide to fight and keep going into to the other one the monster keep getting stronger even though you dont fight the monster also we might include the chance to get a weapon from our experience playing the game are very low.

But it feels unfair at every turn winning doesn’t seem at all possible and so its just not fun. It works and we like the idea but as it stands its just a waste.

Quick and simple, not enough gold for your run monsters destroy you.

Whoever created this doesn’t know how to balance :(

First off, any game that you regularly die to the first enemy because of RNG rolls is bad design. Second, you HAVE to constantly battle and avoid ? Rooms if you even want a CHANCE at beating the Behoarder plus you need to be really lucky with loot drops and pray you get a good weapon. If the game didnt steamroll you with bad rolls, loot and enemies then itd be pretty enjoyable.

Couldnt even open the app. It just kicks us at every time. We would love to play this game it looks amazing but we just cant. We have an iPhone 6+

The people on here who are complaining about the chance or difficulty are the people who lack the skill to balance chance rooms and fighting rooms. We beat the beholder within 20 min of the game because of the choices we made. We easily made enough not only for one new character but two…. People just are salty because its not as easy as they wanted it to be.

This game has a great concept and is well made, despite the reviews. We found that while many of the negative reviews had some truth to them, and we had similar experiences at first, once you get the hang of the game you can get through it pretty quickly. For our first several runs we were only getting about thirty to fourth coins, but those numbers quickly went up, and we can now beat the Behoarder pretty consistently. We love the games very simplistic strategy that allows for many different play styles, and the unique abilities of the different characters (although we wish there were more). Overall, this game is very worth downloading, despite the angry reviews.

Good game albeit short. As mentioned in some of the other posts once you get the hang of it the game is actually very fun! Hopefully in the future there will be more levels and content added including after the Behoarder!

Ok, the games concepts are good, the art is well, but the game needs to be more balanced and playable, especially at the start. Also more customizable characters would be cool, with different types of players with different looks.

So this seems like a very very simplified version of dnd mixed with a slay the spire vibe. We love it. And hate it. For a mobile game it is really fun and easy to pick up and put down. The way mobile games should be. However, it lacks and real long term depth. The Behoarder himself is stupidly strong and you encounter him super early on most of the time, when you are way underprepared. Even if you make it to the point where your only option is to fight the behoarder your measly character vs the 250+ hp beast that can 2 shot you is not going to win. Gold is too easy to get and classes are easy to unlock, however once you unlock them gold doesnt have that many uses outside of buying an occasional relic to start the game off. It is less a game about skill and more just blind gambling and rng. We would definitely add a longer buildup to the behoarder and make characters tankier a little bit and make rests more frequent.

Now you guys should add more beasts, giving the players more time for them to try to fight the Behoarder. Im only saying this cause in our play throughs, even if its just going creature after creature which is more difficult (because youre not going out of your way to get good loot.) we cant wait to see more updates.

To be clear, we havent conducted a large sample statistical analysis to validate, but after dozens of runs we started to notice we were rolling 3s way more than any other number. This could all be coincidence and unlikely even intentional but it did cause us to lose interest, especially when it results in death on the first encounter. We could be wrong, and hope we are as game is otherwise really charming.

First off, we love the idea of a dice rolling rouge lite. Almost like a mini tabletop campaign. However, there a few issues/opinions we have with it 1. Its not easy to pick up. Not so much an issue as a concern. It might deter people that would otherwise enough it. 2. Limited and simple weapon choice. If playing any melee build, you always go for the highest damage weapon. Spellcasters are useless when you can go tank through every monster and kill the boss easy with the stats you built 3. On that note, we feel like spell damage dont scale as well as melee damage. 4. Saving throw rooms are pointless, they do less damage than a monster sure. But you dont get anything out of it. 5. To heavy of a dependence on CON. If you dont have a good CON to start, you will die.

We were actually surprised that the whats new section of this game says the early difficulty was adjusted recently, because this game is still insanely hard after the adjustment. Our last attempt had the first enemy kill us in 2 hits. At that point in the game what options do we have to defend myself? Maybe giving the player a small selection of starter items/weapons at the beginning would help balance the difficulty and supply the player with more options? Its a cool concept though Im going to check in from time to time to see if progress on the issues is made.

This could be a really good game if they added a more permanent part of the game tired of dying on the first few battles each run not improving at all and getting barely any gold.

The art and writing for this game were very enjoyable. Everything from the monster design, and the injured hero portraits really nailed the tone as both humorous and thematic. Gameplay is problematic to put it nicely, and this is after the recent patch. Games are about making choices, and we rarely feel we have any real choices with this game. Combat is rolled randomly, and you only get choices if things are going well and you have collected items for your bag. But it seems that normally there is a clear good choice versus an inferior choice. As an example, if we dont have enough hitpoints to select a combat room, then the choice has already been made for us. In game design terms this is referred to as a false choice, the player really only has one option. After a couple hours with this app, we just cant see continuing. Im sad because the presentation is so solid.

A pretty craptastic game with wayyy to many ads. We deleted this piece of garbage after 10 minutes. The RNG sets the user up for failure and the additional classes cost too much. We suppose someone that wanted to grind for a couple of hours and watch ads could get something out of it but Im not that patient. Perhaps a purchase option to permanently bypass ads would make this game better.

We average 7 coins every time we play and its 400 for a better character? No thank you lol.

We appreciate the spirit of the design, but it doesnt work. Test your product before you introduce it to the world. We played this game five or six times. The interface gave us one option during combat: unarmed attack. Having only one option at our disposal, we lost hopelessly to the very first enemy time after time, due, we guess, to bad luck. We dont see the point. Run ads to let players press a lose button? No thanks.

The game is interesting and could be good but it is impossible to get past the first two to five enemys since you either dont have the gear to deal damage or arent a high enough level to beat them. The RNG is also severely lopsided towards the AI.

Great potential but severely unbalanced. Graphics are good but gameplay is slow and monsters are way overpowered from the get. No long term incentive to grind, only a couple hold per run will take 100+ runs to get enough for a new character. There should be more rollover stats or items to move the game along.

Normally when you make a game you want people to enjoy it. Theres nothing to enjoy about a game that has enemies snowball you in the first 3 enemies. Items are also extremely overpriced. Bought a 60 gold item and ended up dying to the 4th enemy which got us (get this) 12 gold. Rogue likes are fun…. If the dev knows how to make it fun. This one does not.

The game crashes every time in the initial loading screen. We wish we could play, but since we cannot we cant rate this higher than 1 Star.

This game, to put in some of the nicest terms we can find, is unplayable for how bad the concept is. One of the worst RPG games you could find. Disgusting.
