What Makes Bit Blaster – Addictive Arcade Shoot 'em Up Stand Out
A throwback to the classic quarter eating arcade games of the 80's; Bit Blaster XL is a retro styled, addictive, and fast paced arcade shoot 'em up! (shmup).
Your ship can not stop moving; so turn it left and right by touching the screen to keep from running into an ever increasing amount of enemies. Your ship is always shooting, so make sure to pick up more ammo and the variety of awesome power ups to help you survive longer. Get the highest score you can while collecting coins to buy more ships that fly faster, shoot faster, or have more shields.

A great game with an awesome soundtrack! The game may break the first time you start it up, but after a quick restart of the app it works fine.
This is a fantastic game, but for some reason we can no longer post to the leaderboard. Also the heat seeking weapon often does not work. Please fix.
We wish there was an option to pay money to disable ads.
We have 30 hours in bit blaster on the Steam version, and we can tell you that the phone port and the pc version are really different. A couple of suggestions: Remove the ad that is situated on the bottom of the screen during gameplay. Have a horizontal mode. We appreciate that the game is free though, and we hope Nick updates the game to resembles it's pc roots.
We ran this game on our 6S Plus, and it's not responsive whatsoever. Either DEVS take notice of this and fix it, or just don't bother downloading this game.
We touch the screen and nothing happens. The objects crosses the screen as if nothing.
Mind you, its no PooshXL, as made famous by Twitch sensation @8BitDee, but Ill tell you what: of all the mobile shooter games out there, this sure is One of them.
We have both games, this one and the other one on pc and they are both amazing and should deserve more attention.
Simple design that allows for rapid replays and always trying for new high scores. Its fun for 30 seconds or 30 minutes. Works great on mobile.
Fun to play. The boundaries are the screen size. The power ups are really cool. The best ship is really worthwhile to keep playing for.
We own this game on steam and have 50 hours of just playing with friends on weekends with the steam controller. This game is so good with a controller so if you have .99 cents on steam we recommend this game for everyone.
We have both versions of this game. The PC version and this version. We would recommend this game for people that need to waste some time or are bored. Just try it and you might like it. :D.
We got this game because we have Ding Dzongkha XL in our Switch and this looked fun. Its way harder to steer than we expected. Good time waster. Id like to see where this Devolver will go next, his high score chasers are fun! Id love to see these games on more platforms like the Switcg too.
We havi it on phone and pc. But the music won't play on our phone plz help. Also a horizontal mode would be nice.
Saw the game on reddit. We really like it. It's a perfect game for when you are waiting to drop the kids off at the pool. Great job.
Okay so we got our classic 8 bit blaster, no big details further from that, it's definitely a fun game to work with. Just easy ways to pass time every once in a while, no harm. Although the unlockables is really short lasted as there's only very little to unlock. No challenges or anything, which is understandable since there's no huge goals to go for and we like it! But as there's a game, there is some bugs that still continue needing to be fixed. We've only found probably two or just one. One being the heat seeking shots (Orange H), you would expect it to last all up until you run out of ammo like usual, right? But sometimes it just last for a short time then just suddenly vanish. Especially if you aim at the same thing as the heat seeker. Or sometimes it just doesn't activate at all aside of giving ammo. Then the shield is strange too, sometimes it would give one less of what it usually gives, especially the ship with 4 chances. You can count how many times you get hit during a run, at the very start we tested it if it had 4 chances and it did but overtime ingame it would drop a chance out of nowhere. We're not sure if we're not paying attention or this is some kind of weird bug Overall the game's just fine with everything else.
