We started using this app to enjoy the experience of playing live spades with the Jokers as wild cards. After playing many games, the server disconnects from either us or a player resulting in a game lost/won which is very frustrating and irritable. PLEASE FIX THIS!!! We could never upgrade to VIP status for an additional fee due to this issue.
We loss all our smack talk. Last game we had a video in between every hand. We tried to go back and become VIP but it wouldnt let us do anything. We had all smack talk except 3 of them. Please help! We couldnt type in anything during our last game and the videos we hate. Please tell us what can be done to fix this issue. Thank a lot! Kathleen Hill.
We were in a middle of a game about to win when the app froze why are we not allowed to update like other apps because game is really good but it freezes and we lost our game.
We love that we can play the way we grew up playing while also learning new ways. But its very glitchy. It doesnt effect gameplay, but it can be annoying. Still a great app with a lot of potential. Update: still extremely glitchy. We cannot win other various tables due to the system not recognizing the wins.
We love this version of spades. We would like to ask if controller support would be added. We just got a. New Backbone controller and we this this have would be great with it.
FIX THE BUGS, please!! We switched phones and had over 700,000 coins. We signed out because the app wouldnt accept our coins to buy a table. Signed back in and over 500,000 of our coins were gone. It also locked the Atlanta and NY back again after we unlocked them. This app also does this thing where itll stop responding in a middle of a game so we lose coins and the game because we have to close it out to reset it.
Spades is a sociable game. The chat needs some extreme updating this isnt 1999. You should be able to post a pic of yourself. Thats why know one is playing. To wait 10 mins for a game is crazy. The only reason we downloaded cause we were ban on our other spades apps.
We want to love this app so much, but we are always getting disconnected! Either its on our end or the game ends because someone else has gotten disconnected! It happens every time we play! So frustrating, especially when you and your partner are winning.
At the Chicago table, Your partner is the op. They dont know how to bid, intentional bags. Leading with Kingwho does that. Im on the leader board though,lol.
All of our coins deleted out the blue :/.
The game is great. Its as close to real game youre going to get. However, if you dont pay for the premium the ads seems to get longer and longer. They start out being five seconds then turn into about 30 seconds with no way to skip. 90% of the time it will make you turn your service on airplane mode so you can get through a game. If not, it will take like 20 minutes.
We love this game but some how the app just glitches and we lost all our progress or whatever.
Love that the app lets you play like you would in person. However, you lose your coins upon login and you get reset to the default 4,475. Like we had 120K and we were playing tryna open up Atlanta we login the next day its all gone. Also hate that you cant really speak fr. You can only utilize the smack talk thats pre set so you cant tell your partner or opponent that its actually their turn we waiting on, or our screen is frozen. Which actually happens the screen will freeze and youll just be waiting forever, or your cards wont flip over Other than those glitches really the games solid. Wish the app was just offered as a buy instead of all the adds or having a subscription. Would be a lot better if we could just buy the app and play and if we wanted little add ons just have in app purchases of it.
This game is fun to play and is true to how WE play. Man problem is that there are na y bugs to fix, specifically with the lagging and the system of the game. Its annoying when our ad loads perfectly fine but once the game starts, the game decides to free even with top tier wifi. Regardless, when the game runs smooth its fun, we love the multiplayer and smack talk feature.
We enjoy playing the way we played growing up but still missing some thangs: Wheres the Ace Check? – Receive 100 pts if your team makes a book with all four Aces. The Aces have to win the book. First Seven – If a team makes the first seven consecutive books, they get 100 pts. Just some extras we played as a kid that kept the game entertaining. Also for the Boston feature- we dont think you should have to bid 13 books to get the bonus. No one ever bids 13, typically its 10 for 2 with the hope of getting all 13. Just some thoughts :) Response – Im not saying Boston is 10 books. We know its 13. Im saying no one ever bids 13. Bostons just happen, and they usually happen when folks bid 10 for 200 pts but end up getting all 13 books. And if it happens that way, u should still get the bonus/auto-win. Glad you liked the other suggestions. We think having them as options to turn on would make the game even better. Thanks for reading our review. *8/29/23 – The AI needs a tweak. It plays a King before the Ace plays when it has other cards of the same suit in its hand. Its wasting a potential book by playing it too early. Can u fix that.
We love playing black spades but the game keeps freezing causing players to leave multiplayer games and lose tokens. It happens with real players and computer players. It will either say Ive been disconnected from other players or the game freezes after cards have been dealt. If the game worked every time it would be a great app. Please fix bugs and give us back the tokens we lost lol.
The x for the ads are in impossible places to press. We cant finish a full game. Sad.
Whats going on? We have the latest version but the app keeps glitching in multi player. It shows Im waiting on the opponent for over 5 mins. So we disconnect and end up loosing 300 points. This has happened 2 or 3 times now. We tried to go to app support but the website isnt functioning either. Im hoping this review can get us some help. We want to keep enjoying the game.
Love this app when it works and Im able to play with our wife. But every time the other team is in the negative the player who was invited either our wife or we are not able to see our cards because of glitches. Then the player who is still playing gets a notification that their teammate has left the game when one of us are still waiting for our cards to turn over. We truly enjoy the game when it works but the glitches have to be fixed. It kind of get annoying and frustrating after a while and really considering looking for another app that does the same thing but less glitches. Hope they can fix these issues.
This app seems to be very basic and also keep losing the coins Ive won in the multiplayer round even though we are VIP.
We have this game bc it actually let you play with the jokers. We play this game every night before bed and it was cool. But now they have some software ad up there that wont even let you click the x and we have to keep starting the dern game back over. About to just delete it.
We really wanted to give 3.5 Let us start with this- this app provides the most authentic spaces play options of any app Ive tried. Loads of the small ways our community changes up the game can be found on this app and we love it! There are things that are maddening about the app though. 1. When your partner loses their connection- you auto lose. That has happened to us several times especially when Im about to win 3 games in a row. FIX SUGGESTION: allow an AI to continue the game. 2. The AI bidding is CRAZY! It either dramatically overbids or underbids. 3. We dont understand why the hosts rules are followed during multi-player games. 4. When playing multi-player w/o being a VIP, the ads after each game is insane. Its a live game, why have ads between each app? Especially FULL ads that cant be skipped through? Often upon returning, the opportunity to bid has passed and once the game started on us and because we were unable to play it said we reneged. FIX SUGGESTION: if a non-VIP wants to play at a multi-player table, make them watch three ads up front and then ad free for the duration of the game. 5. We wish we could connect with Fbk and play with friends instead of having to text them. We also wish we had an option to add a player to say a favorites list. Every once in a while you connect with another player that you really match well with and it would be cool if you could play with them again. Or even have a live waiting room when playing multiplayer so you can link up and play instead of randomly waiting – some players start a game with only one other person and the whole point is to play with four players not AI. 6. We love that you can work on your skills in this game. But for those who are more advanced players, it would be cool if there was a rating system so you can decide what level of players youd like to play with. Sometimes you want to play a super competitive game and may not want to play with beginners. Maybe allow players to give a partner rating by clicking on the profile, and then have a system rating based on wins/losses? 7. We subscribed to be a VIP- and each time we log in, we have to reset our avatar options, why?? 8. Its easy to renege by mistake because there are limited options to set up your hand. We personally wish we could decide if we want our spades to be lined up high to low or low to high unlike the default low to high. We also wish we had the ability to say, move a suit around- example, if we have no clubs, move the spades between the heats and diamonds. We must really love this game ans want to see it reach its peak potential because that was a lot! Thank you for the app.
This app has so much potential, but sadly we will delete after our free VIP trial. When youre playing single player your partner (computer) plays against you, throwing out Kings when there is obviously Aces out there. Like come on! The multiplayer is fun, but its hard trying to get someone to play bc the wait is forever. We guess not many people are paying for VIP? We believe this game would thrive more if it was completely free.
Won't allow us to update, nor will it allow us to send an invite nor receive it.
Coming from someone who is brand new to black spades, we would love for there to be a tutorial mode. Its kind of hard to get the gist of the game with no explanation.
We love it however Im being cheated & our app is up to date . We won 2 games today 20,000 & when we returned the money was gone.
If we could give 0 stars we would. This is by far the worst spades game of all time. Makes no sense the way this game cheats its not the losing that bothers us its how its done. Especially when playing with the cpu. Its so predictable you know exactly how they are going to cheat you and when. Its 10x worse when playing in invite mode if your are beating them too bad it will kick you out. There is no reason for us to spend money on vip when the free mode is this bad.
Its great to be able to play Spades our way and thats without a doubt. However it would be greater if the computer wasnt such a ditz! Like they make plays no sane person who knew how to play would make! Not playing the winning card when it counts, holding all their spades until the end even if we are down, giving away books, taking ALL the bags, etc. If this really were a spades game, us and our partner would have fought LONG ago! Please fix the A.we.!!! We dont know how much more we can take!! UPDATE So the update has improved this game substantially! The AI plays much better and a lot of the new in-game options are great! We especially like the addition of the single player location option. Our only question/concern is whether the coin jackpot is supposed to be per game or once you win all the games like the table. It says per game, but we have yet to win any coins in any of the locations. UPDATE 6/23/2023 Jackpots have been fixed with the last update! Im now able to earn the necessary money to keep playing in Locations. But do you have to be connected to FB in order to chart on the leaderboard? We currently have more wins in Charlotte than the mayor but Im nowhere to be seen on the leaderboard. Please advise.
We had won 250000 coins ended our game ..came back later and had only 30000when we win or buy coins the games takes them away.
After playing with people online Ive found good chemistry with some people while playing. We wish it was a way to add them as a friend. Send chats without the pre programmed reponses. Im paying for vip but the app seems to not recognize it and Im still watching ads. Whats the point of paying for the vip if Im still watching ads.
Computer (not a real person) partner cuts you and cuts you with a card that can win a trick and causes you not to make your books. And dont get us started with the ads. When you are winning an ad comes on and there is no way to X out the screen and when it finally returns to the game that you were winning the game says it times out because you were away too long on an ad that they allowed into the game.
Ive loved this app and really enjoyed it on our Android but now that we have an iPhone, its challenging. We can barely X out of the pop up ads after finishing a game bc the x is on top of the search button which takes you back. Can we get an update to help moving past the ads possible.
After the new update Im still getting disconnected. The X to close out the ad is too high on the screen. By the time we finally hit enough to close out the ad our games freezes up or disconnects. Love the game but this has to get fixed or Im moving on.
We looked past all the glitches of trying to play with multiplayer. But today is our last day with this app. As we were playing the single mode in Charlotte feverishly every single day, trying to work our way up to 25 wins. All we wanted to do was play in the NYC or ATL room. Soon as we finally won our 25th game, we didnt earn a race car table. No we were reset back to 0, and we refuse to play again. The game has so much potential as its the only app, that plays the way we play. But with all the glitches, we can no longer take it. Ive been hanging in there since the pandemic, just hoping things would get better. Unfortunately, we will be deleting the app. We would love to help the developers on improving, and would definitely return if real improvements are made. -Signed a true black spades fan.

We love this game!!! Its played the way WE play! BLACK SPADES. LOVE IT! The only issue we have is if Im trying to play with our friends we have to have 3 additional players. EXAMPLE: our sister-in-law and we both love playing but when we invite her we have to try to find 2 additional players if we want to play together. We wish there was a way we could play as partners and the game finds two other random players for us. Other than that this game is great us and our sister-in-law Key Sosa love this game.
Everytime we get to a 40k balance it takes some away. We could be at 48k but once we close the app and go back into it Im at 30k. Its very frustrating that Im not able to build our coin.
We lost over 150,000 accumulated and they never fixed the issue. Never gave us an answer to why.
This has become trash. We loved the idea of black spades and supporting our people and we Really wanted to rock out and keep the app although there were issues. We were hoping that they would soon be fixed as the creators kept learning and growing the app but its been long enough without fixing. This app constantly Disconnects friends from the game, at times doesnt even load with the link to invite your friends to join, steals coins when you purchase anything other than the catch phrases you can send while playing and at times freezes completely. Sooo Disappointed . After almost 3 years. We have to finally say good bye.
Love the game content. Long time user. Best spades app on the market. Only writing this review (and giving 4 instead of 5 stars) to let the developers know that some ads are unable to be Xd out of which does not allow us to continue the game. On multiple occasions Ive had to resort to closing the app and starting a brand new game because we were unable to close the ad out and continue game play. Ive primarily come across this issue with the ad for Solitaire Tri Peaks when the X is in the top left corner of the screen. We are using an iPhone 11.
This is our favorite card game to play with friends who arent local but we keep running into the same isssue with the ads. For some reason, they are not properly adjusted for the screen and every few games, Im forced to quit the game because the X to end an advertisement (at the very top and far left or very top and far right) does not work. It is very frustrating and can be a real bummer when youre having a good game with a bet on the line . We hope this is fixed much sooner than later. It def cuts our returns to the app down. Plz keep updating for the better.
We really wish when the other people are losing and they leave that it wouldnt make it basically impossible to finish the game since your cards wont flip afterwards.
We love this game but theres a new Sponsor, and once their ad pops up we have to close the game and start over. Its called Solitar Tri Peaks.
We really like this version because it helps us practice the way we play in real life. The only thing that is frustrating is that we frequently get ads that we are unable to close. There is no way to exit them so we have to completely close the app and lose our game and start all over.

The computer and his teammate has psychic skills. Meanwhile your computer teammate will make moves with the IQ of a turnip! Only reason we play is because its free and we know exactly what they are trying to do. It is pathetic and we will be making a YouTube video exposing this app for what it truly is.
This is by far the worst app on the planet. Ive never seen a game with so many advertisements, and now they have it to where the advertisement plays, but doesnt give you the option to close it. Therefore, it leaves it stuck there ending your game that is absolutely horrible as many defects and unprofessional attributes this ad has it needs to be erased, and never to be remade by these people again in our opinion, do not pay not one dime for anything on this app it is not worth it is at least to be destroyed.
We finally learned how to play spades the right way.
This game is great. It goes by the rules how we play in our good. Our only gripe is sometimes if you leave the app you cant pick up where you left off. The game resets. Also we think its kind of rigged sometimes to set players. We dont think the card dealings are random. Other than that its pretty great.
