This is a soft 3 star review for sure. We love the simplistic layout of this app. Its pretty addicting! Perfect for plane rides or long trips or especially just passing time. If youre looking for usual 60/40 house odds look elsewhere. We have played plenty in casinos and online live dealer blackjack with real money and have played basic strategy for years. That doesnt apply to this game. The dealer is going to have it most of the time and after thousands of hands played Ive picked apart a few tells this app has. 1. When you have a 17-19 against a dealer 7/9 the dealer almost ALWAYS flips an ace for an 18-20 to win. 2. When you pull a 3-4 card 21 the dealer will pull a 5-6 card 21 to push in consistency Ive never seen at real tables. 3. Youre very frequently dealt a 12-16 vs dealer 10. Im aware this happens a lot in blackjack but once again the consistency in this game is ridiculous at outdrawing you. 4. Dealers bust cards dont bust at usual rates. We counted out of 30 hands dealer showing 4-5 they only busted 9 TIMES. The things we love about this app tho are not only the simplicity and layout but the achievement system as well. The achievements allow you to keep playing without paying by rewarding you with chips. That part is cool. Anyway hope this helps.
Overall its a great game but it is so rigged! Everytime we bet small we win but when we bet big or we max bet the dealer somehow always get 20 or 21! Im not even kidding Ill get super high cards but the dealer will for real get like 3-5 blackjacks in a row!!!! It really makes us mad. The only way we ever seem to really gain any traction is by winning the achievement chips.

But definitely not a keeper. Ive been on the hunt for a good blackjack game without ads or at least the option to purchase a no ads upgrade. Im not a professional gambler, but Im not as bad as this game would have us believe just based on how much money Ive lost. The algorithm obviously favors the dealer, but then, its kind of supposed to. Just not as much as it does. For about 85% of the 11s we are dealt, we will be dealt a low number card if we double. Conversely, about the same percentage of 12s or 13s will give us a ten or face card. Over the course of the several hundred hands Ive played, it has become quite clear that the game is coded to encourage the player to purchase chips packs despite the game description claiming that the algorithm is just as random as in real life. This is disingenuous and purposefully misleading. Ill be deleting the app after we run out of money which we know we will do because the game will force this eventuality.
You get 12-15 nearly every hand, then you bust on a face card. When you dont bust you lose to a 20 or 21. Cannot play with high bets otherwise you will never win, clearly trying to make you buy more chips with real money, still kind of a fun game though, compared to most black jack games. You get your majority of chips from achievements.
