Boat Sim Elite is a Simulation/Casual game from Gary Chambers, first launched in 12th May 2015.

What Makes Boat Sim Elite Stand Out
Boat Sim Elite takes boat simulation to a whole new level, sail and walk the deck of your huge ships!
Includes three large ships for you to sail, a large ferry, an exploration ship and now a cruise ship, each with with multiple decks.
WALK around your ships – take a walk around the deck (a challenge in rough seas!)
SAIL from the bridge – use the radar, map and compass to navigate.

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.
Adds requested feature, a new setting for max wave height (extreme waves on/off).
Waves will only be (randomly) huge if enabled from the options page (menu/options). If deselected waves will vary but will stay relatively calm.
Actual wave height is random, but this will enhance the experience depending on preference, and sets max wave height limit.

So, we love this sim, and it is fun to go and pretend to explore and stuff, but the least realistic thing we can think of is when we hit things accidentally, there is no apprehend damage. If you were it hit a rock at 25 knots then there would be a gash in the side of the boat, resulting in a sinking boat. We wish there was sinking, but we understand if Gary can't add it or won't. The point of the isn't to sink, but for a more realistic game, sinking is a big thing to add. Have a good day.
We wish there would be fishing boats like northwestern or saga.
This game needs the rms titanic if you dont know what is the titanic Ill tell you now the titanic was a big ship it sunk on 4-15-1912 please put the titanic in this game please please please put the titanic please now we love this game so much.
You get to walk awesome we recommend you play this game and can you add a oil tanker and pleas do not make ships sink.
November 2017 Update: Happy this app is still working with iOS 11. So fun to ride the waves and walk about the ship, and love the ocean sounds too. Thank you, Gary, for your kind response and really looking forward to future developments.
If you could add sinking that would be great. We love this game and it is sooooo much fun. This is a very fun game for all ages.
When we tried to sink it nothing happens The bow doesn't go or nothing please add sinking.
It needs a ships like titanic need to be able to load stuff onto the ferry and you need to be able to walk to the bow we hope to see some of these in the next update.
Maybe add a destroyer or a caries or even the Yamato.
We really like this games because its the only boat games where you can walk around… But can you please add some more ships we know its pretty hard to make a game and all but there is only 3 ships can you at least make a 5 or 6 then you would have a lot of options to chose from. And agin this is a great games and theres a lot of good things… We also think you could add a storm mode where there is a tsunami to survive. Thats it thats really all we would like to see and also thanks for lowering the price.
We really enjoy playing this game but there are some issues. The first issue is glitching. Glitching comes in several forms. The most annoying glitch is when the ship spontaneously rolls over, throws us off of it and then proceeds to bounce around or fly into orbit. Thats annoying. The other glitch prevents us from going through doorways or climbing stairs or ladders. The cruise ship is bad about letting us enter the bridge, the exploration ship will not let us climb the stairs from the lower deck anymore. Beyond the glitching, we would like to see greater access on the ships. Both access to the upper observation areas as well as below decks. That way, when we fall through that crack in the floor in the cruise ship bridge and find ourselves in a room with no windows and doors below the bridge, we wont be trapped for all eternity. We think it would also be kind of cool to see the other ships. We could play one ship and leave it in a port and then bring another ship to that port and see the other ship we parked there previously. The ability to disembark and explore the islands without being ejected from a glitching ship first would be nice. Obviously the little universe you created in this game is limitless but those are some suggestions we would like to see implemented.
This is a great game but Ive been reading other comments everyone wants the ships to sink when they strike something and we want that too also can you add more ships and a interior for all of them? The reason there is a star off is for the fact that the ships cant sink add sinking ships and lll give it five stars but please add more options on settings and add maybe a ship like the WW2 YAMOTO we think thats how you spell it anyways add more ships please and can you add a multiplayer and can ya make it so you spawn at a dock and the ship you spawned on is right next to you and there is a board that you can get on the ship/boat with and if you add battle ships can you put guns on them that are functional and what we mean by guns are turrets and if you add sinking ships can you add a flare gun so if you shoot the flare gun when your sinking there will be a rescue boat coming to your ship that will pick you up and bring you back to shore and please add passengers and like we already said interior for the ships but if you add passengers can you make it so they will walk around on the ship but they will stay out of the captains room but if they are a officer/crew member then they will walk around on the deck and go inside the captains room thanks for reading and sorry our review was soooooo long.
This is a great game but the thing that we dont like is when you hit a ship or crash you dont sink we would love if you made the ships sink.
This is a really neat game if you are into sims like us. Its not action packed and fast paced, but rather relaxing and intriguing. We would personally love to see more camera angle options in the game (e.g. Chase view) but that being said, we absolutely love the ability to walk about the ships. We would always like to see the map a little more detailed, such as waypoints, current position. This game overall is awesome and has tons of potential, really looking forward to future updates. Thank you developers.
AWSOME we LOVE IT. It is a great game but the ships are very slow (exploring boat: 19 knots ferry: 31 knots cruse ship: 39 knots. In the future add more ships have faster boats and ships and pasangers for your ship also add a yacht.
It needs more boats and we needs to have sinking.
Make it when you crash into something your boat sinks we rate 5 if you fix it.
Hi Mr.Chambers. We really like the game and it's cool. But it lost a star from what because the game is dark and you can't sink the ships. Sinking the ships would add so much to the game! Add more ships as well. We hop to see that in the next update (if there will ever be one).
The app is great but the cruise ship is small and old. The app would be great if a new modern cruise ship was added in the game.
Would give 5 starts if it had a super yacht and if you didn't fall down the stairs.
We love this game but it could be better if the ships sink.
It's a nice game. We found a glitch though. If you walk to back of the cruise ship, you can fall off the ship. Our only other complaint is the cruise ship is a small old ship. Maybe add a bigger modern cruise ship and we'll make this 5 stars. Overall a great ship simulator.
Please add a tractor tug boat or some sort of tug with special controls maybe !!! Maybe an offshore supply vessel or an anchor handling tug. With the tug boat controls.
So what we See a lot is please make the ships sink one it be awesome if that would happen like its a good game but please add crew member officers and passengers dui (idk how to spell it) but like also please add interior in the ship and please add a ship like the titanic or Britannic (please add some more ships) and like a dock so that you can scroll it and then the ship pops up and you go on a deck to go on it and a flare gun so when the ship is going down a rescue can come for you and then your good but like what we see is a good game but it has a lot of room for updates to make it a lot more popular and a lot better of a ship game also sorry our thing is really long we just have a lot of ideas that we think would make the game more fun than just walking around doing almost nothing.
Please make the ships sinkable, add a submarine, add weather options, add an underwater view, lastly please add a spinning propeller and a rudder that moves. Other than that this game is awesome.
This game needs to have the boats sink and it would also be GREAT if you added Giant tsunamis like 500 feet tall. You guys should also make the cruise ship a lot more modern and bigger like the ones today, please read these comments.If you read the comments and add all of those things on the list, we will definitely rate this game 5 stars.
It's a good game with lots of detail but the ships don't sink and when you run into another ship it goes up in the sky and won't sink either Other than that it's a great game.
We love how this has an internal clock. Now it's sunrise and we went in the game and it's sunrise there too. Puts realism into it. Sail easy at daytime; night is poor visibility.
The game is good but y wish in the exploration ship you can go upstairs in the low back part.
The game is fun but it's kind of a waste of money u can't really do anything but walk around there's no inside and you can't sink And after awhile you get bored.
We wish a crashed or mishandled ship would sink… Roll a boat in a big wave.. You should at least take on water …. We dunno.. The waves are well done, some of the walking around it rough.. Gets hung up, we mentioned how we have fallen thru the floors.. Usually at seams.. Like against a railing… Anyways we wish this developer would come back and update this this app… We think it is very nice but needs some love .. Fun but not if having no predefined missions ruins your day.. Th s program hands you the keys and walks away… Now go entertain yourself hahaha have fun.
We dont mean to be rude but we really hate the camera angles there is no 3rd person free view and there is not much to do it gets boring fast we wasted $2 for this and update the game its crap and there is only three ships we understand its two years old but its not worth the money.
So garbage not explainable we want a refund.

We rate we a one star because when we join and click the cruise ship, IT DOES NOT SPAWN THIS GAME IS STUPID.
Often times, you cant walk into the bridge area because of the doorway bump and also climbing stairs or ladders is almost impossible. It looks like the developer has given up on this app.
You can't walk around the ship at all they just sweet talk.
This game is stupid. You can only use 3 boats for your money and there no designed part off the game to do challenges.
Great but one of the ships makes you go under it not on it.

We'd like to see more boats. Perhaps a cargo freighter or coast guard vessel. One of the BIG things we would like to see is the ability to shift your view of the boat around instead of being in just that single fixed position. It's kind of annoying.

Good game overall but we have a few suggestions: 1: make a new map that is a large port that you can navigate tugboats around and dock large container vessels at. Of course to go with that, we should get a tugboat and large ocean liners to operate. Also a new UI with the ability to choose what port you start at, and what ship to take at that starting point. Also some more scenery would nice. Thanks for the good game already and keep up the good work.
Ok so we rarely ever write bad reviews but here we go. Graphics are weak, you can sail a ship right through another ship, then get off onto the non controlled ship. Once on the other ship, you still are some how in control of your original ship. If you are at full speed and hit the anchor button, you immediately come to a stop. Oh and don't make the mistake of walking into the water, you might as well just restart the game. Please include an over head or outside free view. That is all for now.
Graphics are very poor. Only two views and one is like watching a cctv recording. Nothing happens when you hit other ships. Not a good buy.
