This set was fun and interesting.
Some are easy and some are difficult but there have fun diversion. We dont think we want to pay for them but if you feel like you should, its probably worth it. We have so many other games we play we cant pay for all of them, but we appreciate that they dont have ads. So we might cave in and pay at some point.

A solid 4.5 before it became a part of Apple Arcade in the last few days. Now its 2.5. The big update shoves more ads at us (seems wrong since we pay for Arcade). We dont need free games. Ill pay w stars we’ve earned. The engaging sound now sometimes works, sometimes doesnt. We now play far fewer games each day than just a week ago. Probably time to look for the next good word game.
When the latest update came out for Bonza! Planet we were hoping the developers would see that it was a wrong direction to take. However, they unfortunately didnt and have now instituted the same update here on the original Bonza! We dont want to see a screen every time we use the app that tells us we can pay money to remove the ads. Until this, we were fine to watch an ad or two to play additional games. Now, as a form of protest, we wont watch one single ad. As soon as the initial game is over, we close the app. As we said, we used to get them some money by watching one or two ads per day. Now they get nothing from us. Dont be greedy. Take the money you get from people watching the ads and be happy about it. Okay, yeah, somewhere in the settings, feel free to offer and ad-free game, but dont make us look at it every time we go to play.
We loved this game, played it every day. Now, suddenly, they have flooded it with long ads, and absurd prices to bypass them. We won’t be playing it anymore.
We played this game every day for months, but as of this morning you can no longer choose to use coins to get a different daily puzzle if the one youre assigned is bad. That and they are pushing to spend money to buy more coins. We wont be playing it if we have only one choice for daily puzzles.
We have enjoyed this game for quite a few years. So much so that we plopped down the cash to get rid of the ads. Now, with the latest update, other content that came with purchase is included for free but the annoying, every-frickin puzzle ads are back. Restoring purchase supposedly succeeds, and, if thats true, then ads are now part of what we paid for. We thought we paid to get rid of them. Bad form. Surprising even myself that we still give Bonza a 2-star rating.
We’ve spent money to get coins for hints in the games. Suddenly you have gone up significantly on the cost for hints. This, along with the ever increasing ads takes us out of the game we enjoyed. Bye.
This game used to be relaxing and fun, but with the latest update its annoying! Every time you open the app, it prompts whether you want to remove ads. Further, there is a mandatory video ad after each puzzle is solved. We cannot describe how annoying and non-relaxing that is. Youre paying to remove the nag screen more than anything. What an awful way to treat your users. We enjoyed this game for a long time and bought many puzzle packs, but now Im deleting it.
Suddenly now we get an obnoxious video ad after every single puzzle, cant skip, volume is up. Deleted the app, we cant handle that.
Return the Reshuffle option on the free daily games!!! Annoying the option has completely disappeared!!!
We’ve played this game for nearly a decade. But now the ads are ridiculous. Im out!
We always hit this app at least once a day to catch the daily puzzle and have been using it for years! Now we have to go through a splash screen trying to get us to pay, an ad that starts airing immediately after finishing the daily game (all of that content is created by unpaid users!), and getting a word which used to be 35 points is now 100 points. Now we play the daily game and immediately get out of the app because an ad starts. We may end up deleting it.
We used to love this game however we just paid to get NO ADS yet that’s all we get. Started the daily puzzle today, left to look at our settings & not only did we lose our progress on that puzzle but 3x we were given a new game. When we used ads for hints previously, they froze. I’d get sound with no picture. If you want to waste your time & money along with getting continuous frustration, this is your ticket. The more Ben & Punya change this game, the worse it gets.
The app was enjoyed until the ads came. No way to bypass. Close the app & reopen it. The ad resumes.
Sadly, the game was recently screwed by hamfisted new ad revenue scheme. Deleted the now-garbage app, b/c we dont want to watch ads in a game we’ve played for years, while able to choose when to watch an ad. Clown shoes move on the devs’ part, and especially unfortunate for what had been a solid game.

We never minded watching the occasional ad to get a hint or to play additional games. The new update has ads playing constantly and you cant play multiple daily puzzles. Even puzzle packs we buy have ads continuously. We have played for years, but we are deleting it just like we did Bonza Planet.
You have managed to ruin two of the most fun, interesting, and challenging word games. First you butchered Bonza Planet, only allowing one daily challenge, and then to add insult to injury, you threw in more ads. And now you’ve done the same thing to the original Bonza. Apparently all you care about is your bottom line, and you have no regard for the people that play and enjoy these games every day. We used to enjoy playing these games, but not any more. We can guarantee you won’t make a dime from us, and we hope others will have the same convictions. We’re seriously considering just deleting the games from our device. If only we could give zero stars in this review.
The old format of the game was sooooo much better. This new format, which we paid $$ for to eliminate adds (which was false advertisement – the whole format was changed) is awful. Costs more points for hints, cant play a second game for free. We will not play it any longer. What were you thinking about when you wrecked this game? Shame on you. We want our money back!!
