We originally played Boom Dots when it came out back in 2015 and came back to it at the start of the pandemic through an old Game Center challenge (Thanks AKD!!) One thing we love about BD is the pages of statistical analyses and the different leaderboards. It's the main thing that has kept us playing for months on end during Co-vid19's reign. Being able to look at our perfect hits statistics or follow the average score leaderboard has been motivational and fun. Our favorite skin is the "bacteria" (somewhat appropriate given the current global situation). We've done some serious climbing of the leaderboards, but one thing we have noticed are the obvious fake scores on the average score, and perfect hits leaderboards. Devs: if you are reading this, please wipe the top 8/9 scores on both of these boards. Many have been clogging the top 10 of these leaderboards since 2015 and in fairness to players who play hard (without cheating) should be removed. While we know this is an older Umbrella game, we would also love to see the 200 missions bug on the missions leaderboard resolved. It would make crawling through the 200-300 mission zone more fun. Another game wish would be a cumulative high score leaderboard, which would encourage players to play more of the skins and not settle into a favorite, like we have with "bacteria". This might also make the "play 25 games with Star" type missions a little easier to adapt to. Thanks and congrats on a fun, 1 tap, innovative arcade shooter.
This game is simple and fun and well worth the 99 cents to remove the ads. There is a bug with the missions completed leaderboard, after going above 200 missions it says not ranked :/ please fix this so 201-300 mission scores are ranked.
This is a great little shooter gameone that is so simple to play and so challenging to master. What more need be said.
We spend hours trying to beat our high score! An addicting game is a great game.
There are WAYYY to many ADS. Please just make the adds shorter or less often, you can only get an average of 10 plays before an ad pops up.
This game is easily addicting and always makes you want to play more after each level. But something else that happens after each level is that you get video ads and these can be anywhere from 15-20 seconds long with very few times being able to skip. Please fix the ad problem and just keep making good games.
We liked the game a little bit but it was way to hard for anyone to play. Our friend even said it was torture!!(and we agree) we got the game and five minutes later we deleted it. So overall rating is: ITS HORRIBLE DONT GET IT.
Was disappointed to see with this last update there were no new goals or levels. It's a fun game but once completed gets monotonous. Yet another update with nothing new.

Cool fun game. Only complaint is the lack of music. The reason we got it was the music in the trailer. We were looking for music and didn't find any. What we did find, however, was a dope game with a unique idea that has missions that keep you wanting more.
This game is fun and addicting, it's a a great game but we do not like the adds. There are too much. Sometimes we crash but it's okay. We would give it 5 stars.Its great.
Buy the ads free option. It only costs 99 cents. It's so worth it and you can put it on all your apple products for no additional cost. We play at least one hour per day.
This game makes you feel like it actually improving your coordination. It's fun :-) In that Tetris sort of way.
If you need a game that you can play to kill time, this is the one for you. It can be played for just a few minutes, or you can kill the whole day. Perfect for making a long wait see, shorter.

This is the first game among hundreds we've played that we purchased the option for ad-free playing. It's so addicting that we found it worth the $0.99 to eliminate the ads – which admittedly can be an annoyance and several times caused the game to crash on us. But that should not deter you from downloading the free version. It's the perfect balance of challenge, simplicity and pleasing aesthetics. The "challenges" are optional & free to play, and reward the player with different shaped dots to "boom." Play for a few seconds or for an hour – there is no annoying clock to watch or beat. Simply put, it's the perfect time-waster for anyone who enjoys a one handed tap-and-shoot challenge to test your reflexes & coordination. And it's just plain fun. Thumbs up all around.
Trickier than you think, as you have to pay attention to subtle variations in speeds and freaquencies.
Fun though, easy to pick up, get mad at, and rage quit.

This game is amazing get it NOW.
This is a great game to pass the time. However, the trailer does not tell you that themes must be unlocked. After completing ten missions that are medium in difficulty you only get one theme. Tbh the first few are kind of lame but we're ok king forward to the ones featured in the video.
We personally love the game we think it is very fun very addicting and we it's not very easy that's the thing that we love about it but one thing that we think you guys should add is stars or money so when you get them you can buy a back ground or a different character.

If you have any history of getting hooked on things, stay far away from this game. For such an easy concept, the designers have done a fabulous job of making an application one can lose oneself in.
When you're bored and need or want something to do this a game that you'll get addicted to.
If you love games that are all about perfect timing, then this is the game for you. It's simple and easy, and it's honestly so fun. As simple as it is, you'd think that it could get boring really quickly, but they even have little built in "missions" that you can do to keep you coming back for more :).

Love it. It's very addicting. The only thing that frustrates us is the ADS you can't play the game with all the ADS and its a free game so you shouldn't have to pay for the ADS to go away. That's the only thing that is bad about this game.

Love this game!! Simple yet, very challenging!!! We find ourselves playing this game when we're trying to burn time.
Takes some skill to eyeball when to hit your target to get the perfect hit! The goals are easy but can take some time to accomplish at least for us. Passes the time that's for sure. We like that there's hardly any ads and you can actually play the game with very few interruptions.
