We legit cant find a soundtrack thats our only complaint we just wanna listen to master knights theme not in the game lol but overall our favorite game on our phone.
This game is very fun and we love the idea behind it, but the fact every time we die a certain amount of times is when we will get an ad. We think it would be a good idea to remove the ad feature when dying a amount of times and instead when dead should give the option to continue with an add. We think this will greatly improve the fun of the game.
Boost Buddies is a great little game with a couple of flaws. The button mode for controls that is accessible in the challenges is not availible in the levels it appears, and if that control scheme is selected from challenges you have no controls at all in the levels until you switch back. We also dont understand why the Touch to Start starts the challenges rather than the levels and the Levels button isnt the Challenges button, just seems like a weird choice.
We hope this isnt just something wrong with our phone, but the game will work smoothly and then all of a sudden it gets so laggy that its a power point slide show! And then while Im playing an ad shows up totally interrupting the flow of the game. And we think the ad is one of the things interrupting the game and making it laggy. Definitely needs to be fixed for this game to be enjoyable but until then, Im forgetting this exists.
Idk if this is just a problem with our phone only, but every-time we click the app it crashes. Cant even play the game ugh.
When we tap to open the app, it shows a "Loading" screen very briefly, then goes black and crashes before it can even open the game.
We loved the cat bird game and this game but then we got a new phone and it stopped working please update it we would love to keep playing.
Can you update it where it works for ios 15.
We have been a fan since cat bird. Really love the combo of cuteness and hardcore platform. Also it is inspiring to see that the new game is creative in its mechnism and rules Looking forward to see more of these.
Ok this game is totally amazing! We love it and we spend hours on it or at least until our phone dies. We have all the games Aaiumi has made and their all great but just one complaint, this game is to short. We mean honestly. U get to bronze crown then silver crown then gold crown and this little cat comes down and starts spinning then u boost out of there. We have all the cats except one that costs 2.99. Plus Ive already beaten the game 2 times and we just keep coming back because every time you beat it the levels get harder. We definitely recommend boost buddies to anyone who is looking for a game that keeps your attention but isnt boring or too hard. Love yall bye.
So when we finally finished cat bird late last year we had nothing to do so now this is out yay.
We really like this game, it gives off a Prisonela type vibe because of how challenging some of the levels are. But thats why we can get absorbed into a single level for tens of minutes at a time, continuous saying to ourselves once more Ill pass it next time. We definitely recommend playing at least enough to get a gold crown on a character, we almost guarantee that youll be hooked.
Its one of those free gift tap here parasitic games.
This makes no sense, when we first got the game it says skip we press skip it doesn't work, we keep trying it doesn't work. Then there is so much latency in this game. The game over all has good art and a good base for a game but needs help with the big and little things.
Its really good we love the game it no glitches we love it its our favorite game ever we played it for 6 hours the first day we got it. We love cats and narwhals!.Just AMZING.
In case it helps, Ive had our progress reset after opening the game this morning. Other than that, its a very fun game. Ive enjoyed Raiyumis games since Cat Bird. We are excited to see how this game can be expanded upon.
Great game! But a few upper levels with the moving floors have a tendency to stop moving the player. Its frustrating to see these broken floors prevent a new high score, so a fix would be greatly appreciated.
We were just finished watching YouTube so we started playing this and what do you know, our datas been reset. All we want back is cat bird skin and our level which was 7, otherwise its an amazingly awesome game we would have given it 5 stars if this glitch wasnt here.
Hey so yesterday we came home from school and we were going play this game and then we were shocked because we had lost all our progress we got mad we mean we didnt have much but still! It had restarted in a way we really dont know what happened.
Ill be blunt: the game grabbed our attention when we saw the developer, (we were we BIG fan of catbird and played it many times) but Boost Buddies just as quickly lost it when we played a few hours of it periodically. We do not like the way this game feels to control. When we want our character to be avoiding spikes, every tap bounces it just a little too high, making it hit into lasers or spikes. When we actually do well in this game, it feels like we beat the stupid rocket Im riding on instead of the obstacles. And keep in mind that this is literally your only input in the game: a rocket jump. As far as art style and atmosphere goes, it has ok art, but even that is kept down by samey backgrounds, enemies, and hazards. Everything has the same boring pinkish-red color scheme. The musics light and fun, which works well with what Raiyumi was trying to go for. Overall, this stuff is subpar, below average. Thats the reason for our rating.
Our kids (7 and 9) loved this game, so we bought the ad-free version because some of the ads are questionable for kids. The ads went away for a few days, but showed up again this weekend. Deleting and reinstalling did not correct the problem, so we returned the game.
DO NOT UPDATE Ive only just started playing so didnt lose much but we need to know this wont happen again before we play more.
Latest update deleted all progress in game. Was ok just to play every now and then but after all progress is gone whats the point in playing everything Ive done again.
It took a while to unlock our favorite theme of the whole roster, pixel, but now after the update… We've returned back to when we first installed the game. Please fix and we'll change the stars.
The update took the stuff we unlocked….so that is lame besides that we use it to kill time.
All progress for everyone just got wiped and there are ads every two seconds. Dont waste your time on this pile of garbage.

We love this game and we were having a lot of fun playing it and unlocking all the amazing characters and levels. But then we updated it and we lost everything.This is extremely frustrating for us and we hope this can be fixed because we truly enjoyed playing this and if it werent for this problem we would rate this 5 stars.

Really great concept and execution. The mechanic is a simple one touch mechanic but a lot of thought was placed into the level design to make the mechanic shine. The artwork is also extremely charming and endearing. Great work! 5/5.
We really enjoy the games by this developer, and this game provides really nice, challenging levels. Our only real complaint is that there is at times significant lag which makes the levels hard to complete. When the lag becomes too great, the game eventually blacks out and closes. We hope that this is something that will be fixed in future updates.
So you know the level feature right? Well, we suggest updating the 3 Skull levels ( mainly 6 & 9 ) so they arnt so Rage Inducing You may think us and a handful of people are struggling with these levels- Everybody probably failed the Bullet Face level COUNTLESS times- as the time Im writing this, level 9 & 6 are not completed for us – along with level 9 – you have to fit into the gaps of spinning ghosts going up and down. Besides that- the gameplay is creative and challenging, Pretty fun to play when your bored and when you want to test How fast are your reflexes. And the fact you can unlock characters ( they hold no buffs ) and select from a range of characters- from just a pixel to a reference to the Cat Bird game – is stunning. We hope you update those two levels on the 3 Skull mode, and have a good day.
Its really hard to get coins and level 6 on the levels is nearly impossible is what it feels like. Please add an easier way to get coins :(.
Amazing background music and graphics but the levels are near impossible for some of them. Great potential though.
