We played this when we were young, rlly recommend it.
We love this game dearly and we grew up playing it, but it seems to be heavily broken and only in Chinese the images are all the wrong sizes and it seems to still be playable but its hard because we cannot read anything.
We love how you can rename ur cats Im making every character from K-pop demon hunters.
We loved this game soooo much we wish it was updated. We would go play this game again like before.
The screen is very tiny and the armor breads just hover above the cats heads, but it is somehow still playable and just as fun as we remember it.
We love this game! It is very nostalgic to us as we used to play it a lot during the pandemic (we think? Could have been later than that) and we found a very easy fix to the language being only in Japanese. When you first download the app, You simply click the top of the screen (not the cat), go to settings, wrench icon, scroll down, click English.
Such an important game to us as it was a huge part of our childhood. Still fun for such simple gameplay and the artwork is warm and adorable. :] However, when we go to the section Id assume is to purchase meowbux with real currency, its empty? Id really love to be able to support this game if we can.
We would love to see this and Bread Puppies be updated to suit modern-day iOS :( we sincerely miss it a whole lot.
Everytime we enter the game, everything is this picture of a cat with bread on its head. Even the background.. Im so confused.
Seriously, for a game being run by a from what it seems tiny team of devs who dont rly get payed to update it anymore, it works great! We loved this as a kid and the game saved ALL of our old data from when we were a kid and that was so awesome to see! We hope someday you guys can work on this again, but honestly, we just want it to stay on the app store. Games deserve to live on like this, and this one has obvious love put into it, and we hope its on here for many years more. If not, well, ill made a video recording some footage of it to immortalize it :) Shout out to the dev team again, and shout out to those who were fired in the downsizing all those years ago. Love yall.
Issues: Store isnt working/ cant buy any money Cant access the help page even with internet This game is so much fun and Im glad they got it up and running again we just really hope they can fix these issues. This was our whole childhood and Im very happy to play it again. If possible they should fix bread puppies too because both are awesome games.
One of our favorite games from our first iPod touch! We forgot about it for so long but we are so happy to see it is still here.
We have loved cats forever and this game felt so fun! It kinda reminds us of Pokmon but a you gotta catch em all cat edition . Over all we find this game exciting and challenging.
Ive loved this game as a kid and have been playing it since. We would always ask our dad for Meowbux and would sometimes receive it. We want to truly support this game but the page for Meowbux is gone! If you guys are still working on this game, we would love it if you would add the in game purchases and maybe update the game along with Bread Puppies too! Thank you for your time, Ill always love this childhood game to us.

Best game to download if you don't you are missing out on the best thing ever it's like a Pokmon game but in kitten form.
We loved this game and bread puppies when we were really young, before we even started to go to school we would play this. Its just as it was all those years ago. We wish they could fix bread puppies because the game crashes when you open it no matter what phone you have.
Growing up we played this game with our brothers a bunch on our moms ipad and Im now coming back to this, and its sad to see it doesnt quite work anymore. We hope the developers will fix it one day.
Miss this game a lot. Went to download it with some friends as we were talking about it to find that it isnt quite a working game anymore. Loved this game so much.
Back when we were wayyy younger, Id play this game all the time and it was super entertaining :) until one day it turned everything (we mean everything, the clouds, the cats, etc etc you name it) turned into a low quality png of the background for achievements?? It was funny, but we reinstalled the game and it fixed itself. Everyone complains about the game being in Chinese but if you just turn it to English or Spanish in settings its fine again. Would recommend this game for long car rides and boredom :D.
So before this fiasco, we used to love bread kittens. We were an avid supporter through their high and low times. If bread kitten had no fans we must have been dead. But now, everything is changed. We were on the last island when we encountered a cat we really wanted, so naturally we went after it. We had 90 bread and 35 food. And we thought to ourselves bro there is no way we wont be able to bread this cat. We have so much! Low and behold, we were dead wrong. By the end of it, we didnt get the cat, we HAD 0 BREAD, and 18 food. That is ridiculous and foul. In our brain we give this app 1 star but in our heart we give it 5. Even after this unfortunate event. :(((((.
We remember playing this game years and years ago, and we loved it to bits. Sadly, we cant really experience that nostalgia anymore, as the game appears to be completely broken due to neglect. Its sad to see it that way, but im glad that we got to play it while it was in its prime. :].
It seems like the last IOS update has completely ruined bread kittens, everything is a low quality png and it is completely unplayable. Ive been playing this game for a long time and its stayed one of our favorites. We understand its pretty old and the devs dont update it anymore which is fair, but we will miss this game.
You can change the language in settings.

This game has always been and will always be one of our favorites Ive played. Im so thankful its still up and running, despite the team having underfunding and understaffing issues. Of course, as the iPhone updates, the game has become a little bit more glitchy without any new updates, but its still 100% playable so it doesnt turn us away. We hope the team takes a crack at this game again, maybe a BreadKittens 2. Consider donating to their team! Theyre a hardworking and genuinely passionate team that deserves attention. To the devs, thank you for giving us a game that made up quite a few years of our childhood! It actually helped us with learning how to draw cats better, something Im very passionate about now. Please know youre not forgotten! Theres still some people out here that remember and love your ideas :).
We have loved this game since we had it on our iPhone 4 and was really sad when that phone wasnt able to be used anymore because we didnt think Id be able to play it again but when we found it again we were so happy this game is so fun and Im so glad we found it again.

Hello, we dont normally leave reviews but this game was the world to us as a kid. This app seems to have been deserted (last update year ago) but it deserves to be updated for current devices. Its such a good game.
Ive been playing this game since we were 9 and its a great game as its a part of our childhood but its been 4 years and it needs an update and new features please dont skip this review devs.
We wont be playing a whole lot as the game is in Chinese, we have an iPhone 8 currently and from what we can tell it doesnt work on newer phones. Might fish out our IPhone 5 and if it works play there :) we would be more than happy to pay to play the game, but we doubt what we can afford would keep it afloat. Its sad to see this part of our childhood falling into obscurity, but Ill always have the memories.
UI is slightly buggy with our new phone, but its still workable :) fun game, great story, lots of content.
(These are only suggestions so yeah) So with the multiplayer arena thing, it would be nice if we had an option to go against a CPU or AI Maybe.. Let you catch- we mean, -bread- cats that are only a level above your cat, but making it a little harder. It's only two suggestions, but we still wanted to suggest them. The game is super cute and just like the advertisement, we used to play it all of the time as a kid and even now being 18 Im super amused by it.
We still adore this game, all these years later. Id love for this game to get a revamp, especially because it hasnt gotten an update in 3 years. More cats, and a reinstatement of the AD system for rewards would be nice. The Arena is also pretty broken, and Id like to challenge other people! This game is a hidden gem, and Id like people to appreciate this game as much as we do. Any updates would be outstanding.
Loved this game so much when we were younger, so devastated at how broken it is now.. Old gems may collect dust but we will polish the memories of them.
We are a cat game enthusiast and play every cat game there is and this one keeps us coming back and we have had this one for years. We love it. Keeps us entertained. Please update this game.
We've loved BreadKittens our whole life basically, and the updates they did were great. But its like they abandoned the game and bread puppies as well. BreadPuppies crashes on start up, and it doesn't even get to the loading screen. We hope they bring it back though, we really loved that one too. But thats not the point. BreadKittens is one of our favorite childhood games, and we played it 24/7. We still do play it and we have a great time doing so. If they updated the game, it would seem like the game isn't abandoned anymore and they could fix any bugs that may be there. We don't know about it though, its been many years since they last updated both BreadKittens and BreadPuppies. We just really hope Bake450 comes back.
We enjoy this game, especially as a Warriors fan! Not sure if the apprentices should be on their own but they are lol. Wish there were more games like this! And also, like other reviews say, the game starts in Chinese. Just mindlessly tap until it lets you access the settings (tool icon) and scroll down. It says English in English too. Then you can play! Very fun but a few downsides. 1. Rare cats and recolors too difficult to catch without lucky bread. 2. Meowbux too hard to get. Same with cat chow. We love this game otherwise.
This is the best cat game on the app store right now. We have spent literal years of our life idly playing this game and we're so happy to see it back. We've loved this game from the start and still love it now.
