DEVELOPED BY BRIDGE PLAYERS
The small team behind Bridge have been producing Bridge games for over 40 years. One of our first products was Bridge Challenger released in the early 80s!
Do we get every bid correct or play every hand perfectly? absolutely not!. Often there is no one single correct answer making Bridge the game we love. Meanwhile we continue to develop and improve the game.

Player Experience Highlights
Community Insight:
We bought it years ago. Now new version has ads. This stinks.
Excellent app and the company is very responsive. This is the best bridge app Ive found.
Easy to use with learning tools and if you make a boo-boo, you can go back and fix it. Which is go when you have clumsy fingers.
App offers rubber, Chicago, and duplicate options. We have tried the first two and they are fun. Some aspects of Standard American seem to be captured in a pre-2000 form (roughly the last edition of Goren, where 5-card majors were introduced). For example, the 1NT point range is 16-18, the raise of partners 1 of a suit open to 3 is not understood as a limit raise (modern style). The apps bids perhaps too frequently shade the explanations available as one plays. On the other hand, the bidding is not cluttered with conventions; just plays Stayman, transfers, original Blackwood, and a few others. That is good. Worth having, in short.
This game frequently pops up trick ads to either update current versions of games, etc which are really just new games being loaded to your computer. It also has an ad that tricks the user into paying for the ad free version of the game. We ended up getting tricked to paying for the game, but used it a lot so didnt push back. However, the game then started glitching and freezing to the point that we had to delete it. When we reloaded it, it was back to the version with ads. More effort to play than it should be. :(.
Our partner in rubber games doesnt seem to know what theyre doing quite a bit of the time.
Bought the no ads app but our bridge game keeps getting interrupted by pop up game ads that we cannot escape without restarting our iPhone. So very annoying.
Excellent practice! Great fun! Very enjoyable.
We used to love this app, but now their new privacy and security policies have forced us to delete it. Why? There are several other free bridge apps. Make us watch an annoying ad between hands thats ok. Try to access personal information from our phone not ok.
We cant tell when Ive won or lost the game and when the game is over. We dislike that the game hides the score.
Our favorite game till it started stealing tricks. 3 north trios were taken by east. Nit first time but when it was just one we disregarded.
Thats it. Too many hands with 10 or far fewer points. Id like to play offense occasionally, not just defend.
The bidding is sometimes off. Partner passed after a demand bid of take out double.
Im reinterring our bridge hobby. We purchased this game to relax and sharpen our Bridge skills. Our husband has the same app/w/o purchase of $7.99. We get the same games! With our purchase, we do not receive adds but receive a repeat of the same games with the same cards!!!! Stinky. We do not recommend this program to anyone who is serious about bridge. Omar! Where are you.
And also lacks common sense. Obviously, the person who wrote the code had very little experience at bridge.
The % of times you will get very low points is unreasonable. Opponents get great hands a statistically unreal # of times. The card order, no matter what you choose for your pref, winds up putting blacks and reds together, making your hand hard to read.
We love this bridge game. It has everything we need.
We have noticed on multiple occasions that North hand will jump to 4 level major or 5 level minor with only moderate point counts, when NS already have points under the line, and EW are not competitively bidding. This leads to a number of lost hands when game scores could easily be achieved.
We have been using this app for several years, and we like its features very much. However, the internal logic on bidding and play has always been a little weak and very weak more recently. They mustve made some changes because its gone drastically downhill. For example, we just played two hands where North opened two clubs. We are, of course assuming North has 22 high card points, which is in the bidding rules. In one case north had 13 points and in the other 15 points. In the 15 point Hand we had 18 high card points in our hand so we assumed we could make nine of course you can only bid seven so we bid seven and went down one.
Ive been playing bridge mostly with real people for 60 years but we also like to practice with online games. We just bought into this website and am finding it very unrealistic. Its been virtually impossible for NS to get biddable hands and even when NS wins a bid its usually impossible to avoid being set because EW will have too many top trumps or other advantages. EW gets the best hands virtually all the time. Not fun to play when the odds are strongly against a NS win. Cant even set EW most of the time. Id like to have our money back. Emily Volz.
Do yourself a favor and dont buy this game. Loaded deck, no finesse works, cards are stacked. Awful.
This bridge game is tailored for human player to lose in about 90% of raw game played North is a spoiler unless he bids first over south.
Terrible bidding on the north player, making for a very bad playing experience.
This app, Bridge V+ by ZingMagic Limited, made it almost impossible to avoid being charged $6.99 by almost ensuring you accidentally authorize the charge when trying to decline it. We have reported the charge to the iTunes App Store and await a response and refund. BEWARE.
Now you get the same hands again and again, settings to not stay (you have to re-set them every time you open the app). We deleted it and revert to Bridgebase.
We like the app. We just downloaded it a couple of weeks ago. We just spent 6.99 to we thought get rid of ads. But it didnt get rid of them. What did we spend 6.99 on? We hav,e no idea. It is not very clear. We want our money back and you can have back whatever we bought.
We play this game a lot and like it. Beware the ads, though! One mimicked the iOS indicating our memory was almost full (not true) and we needed to download their app to make space. Thats insidious! No way to report it.
We play this A LOT, but with increasing frustration. As noted earlier, in no trump, our partner usually takes bid to game when only 2 of the 4 suits have been bid by us, and he usually has only adequate coverage in one of the remaining suits. This happens frequently-perhaps mostly- but does not seem to occur between the two computer partners. Our single biggest complaint, though, is the grossly disproportionate distribution of points. We think 70-75% of the time the computer has points to make game, and 10-15% of the time has enough combined points to bid+and make-small slam. If you dont pay to play, this of course makes for unhappy play and great difficulty earning points to continue play without ads. It is this 2nd issue that has led us to search for another alternative. We feel defeated before we ever face the challenge. There is not much fun-or learning-in that.
We used to love this bridge game but now the order of the cards often throws us off. It used to always show the trump suit firstMUCH easier that way.
We dont mind many of the ads but some of them even have no exits.
Its a very hard thing to do. We never know what to do when its our turn. Its not free and impossible.
Our 92 year old father loves bridge but has macular degeneration. Everything is too small on the 10 inch iPad. We chose the biggest card available but he was unable to read the bid info in the upper left corner. Why dont they make a Bridge app for sight impaired? He has a Cribbage app and a Gin Rummy app that he is able to play but his first love is Bridge. What a shame.
We didnt want to sign up for Bridge V. Please cancel.
We made the mistake of buying the app based on the representation that purchasing it would disable ads. It didnt. Great scam.
Several years ago we paid for the version with no ads. Now today we go in and all the ads are back and they want $6.99 for a version with no ads. No way to contact them, just have to voice our displeasure.
This app will keep prompt the PAY page continuously and you need to deny it every time like 100 times per day. But you are bound to make a mistake sometimes and hit the pay button eventually. Thats how they take your money. We have never seen any other app to do that. And the "BEST" part is you can not do anything to them. We think you should go on the street and rob people. At least people will not feel cheated.
Once we paid, it stopped letting us participate in tournaments unless we paid more. We deleted this and redownloaded and it wont restore our purchase.
Our partner just went to the 2 level in spades. She had the 2, 3, and 4?of spades. The king of one suit and queen of another suit. We went to 4 spades with 18 points. Sad. Thats how she bids all of the time. Please fix this sad situation.
E snd W always seem to have the better hands. We cant figure out how to set the hands to be better for N snd S. N seems to always pass. Also cant seem to find the redo to take back a play when a mistake play was made. Can the producer of this app respond to these issues. Other than these little issues the app is the best since bridge Baron who seems to no longer sell their app. Theyve gone to nothing but 4.99 per month. Ridiculous.
Only a couple of inexplicably holes in the ai it is way way too easy to skip hands right after you pass for the last time. Fix that.
Do not waste your time and money trying to make this app work. BBG erased the old game and substituted the new BBG for $4.99/month per device. BBG actually did us a favor by saving us $4.99 by offering an app that does not work. In addition we found another bridge app that works great. Thanks again BBG for the poor customer service.
The north bidding is flawed. Opens three card suits that are not viable. Bidding sequences jump around and are unrelated to the cards.
Downloaded this app during the height of the pandemic and soon bought it to stop the ads. We hadnt played bridge in years so it took a while to refresh and learn some of the newer conventions. Hints is a big help and so is touching any bid and seeing an explanation for what it means. That is very helpful! We are surprised how much we win at this game and wonder sometimes if it is allowing that. We have spent many hours playing bridge on this app and am so happy to have it.
We love this game. We primarily just play Rubber Bridge against the computer. One thing Id like to see is an option that maybe says see how. After a hand is completed it shows how many tricks the computer wouldve taken if it had played all 4 hands. It would be nice to see how the computer got those number of tricks. When you tap on see how it goes through the whole hand. Would be very useful for people who are new learners of the game and for folks who are just trying to improve their game. Great work guysI love this app and play it way more than we should.
Tried several different apps. This has been the best teacher for us. Ads are distracting but well worth the wait.
Bridge V is a great game to play on phone or computer. We think it Is one of the easiest formats to follow,.
We have been charged $6.99 for accidentally subscribing to it . It was free until now and all of a sudden it billed us $6.99 because it offered some sort of upgrade to the free Bridge app that we had installed in our phone – we asked for a refund in our ITunes account as soon as we received the charge but the company refused to refund it to us. We dont agree with this charge especially after we realized our mistake we havent used it at all.
Unless the drawn card is the same suit then, it will.
This bridge game has one major flaw and that is the bidding and play of the North hand. The algorithm for North bidding overrated North suits and underrates support for South suits.
Sometimes the bidding is just wrong. We just played a game bid was final at 4 hearts and for a very strange reason north bid 4 spades when 4 hearts was absolutely the best bud.
