We miss the original Cabals digital board game that also had a legitimate kickstarter but we guess didnt quite make it. Best regards to implementing the idea.
If u like frustration this is your kind of game. Like to lose constantly to bs bot decks with lower rating this is the game for u. Pvp is pointless unless you pay or play for years without pay. Aside from all that, its an okay game if u got a few minutes to spare.
You still have the same great Cabals art from the TWO PREVIOUS games, both of which were much better than this game. The artwork is the only reason this gets two stars. Each Cabals game has gotten progressively simpler and stupider to play. There is already almost no strategy available in this game. We can only assume that the next and hopefully final Cabals game will be one of those you are running forward and must choose left or right games with the same artwork. Though, this hasnt been updated in five years so maybe this will be the last Cabals game. There is no strategy here. Dont let yourself get fooled. The computer plays every card for you, generally in the absolute worst way possible. It might be completely random, but watching the moves, it feels like the card that is played for you is pretty much the worst possible card in each instance around 80% of the time. Funny business or pure RNG? Who knows or cares. PvP is the biggest joke. You unlock it maybe around 15 minutes into playing. Our first opponents are over ten times our power rating. It seems like it would take us almost a year (maybe eight months) of grinding to equal the power rating of our FIRST PVP OPPONENTS. If you spend money in this game, you like to throw money away. Period.
Decent game. Definitely worth a look. Hopefully there will be added content in the future,like special events,etc..wish there was a way to upgrade the cards that we want to upgrade,not just random whatever we get. Also,a lot of these cards say fuses with so and so at tier 5, ok,so we have a lot of those cards at tier five,how the heck do we fuse them?.there is nothing to explain these things.
First let us say we love CCGs and TCGs. This game has a ton of potential. However, it is a game of mostly luck. We have played other card games with this play style and they were successful because you had a hand and were able to choose which card you played next. The auto combat removes any strategy from the game and its just a mindless button pusher. Great effort with visuals gets a second star but that is all we can give it. Another star for the response and for caring. Again the game has great potential, but we want to feel like we are doing something and not just watching the game play itself. We are sure others will enjoy this style but it just isnt for us. Thanks :).
But seems like constant maintenance downtime and limited depth.
