Love this one. Good story. Great mini games.
We love the Cadenza series. This one takes place in Havana and you can practically smell the cigars and taste the rum! Excellent period piece with authentic accents and vibrant artwork. Don’t pass this one up! We bought it for our desktop and now for our iPad. Fun puzzles and great plot. Buy this game!

We really liked this game. Very different from the usual fantasy scenarios. Interesting story and great Cuban music. One thing… When using inventory items, you have to place them just right in the scene or they won’t work. You can’t just slide it up into the scene. There is a map which is always helpful in a game. We did think the bonus chapter was way too short. That being said… We are glad we bought this game.
Playing the trial version and learning the tricks. Like this hidden object game so far. Pretty sure we will purchase it. Great graphics and music. Plot is not bad either.
We played this game when it was new and am playing it for the third time now. We replay all the Cadenza games. They are fresh, creative, and we always want to keep the music ON – most games have annoying noise that in place of music that we turn off. Stories are interesting and flow very well. We’re a sucker for cool glimmers and sounds, and this game certainly has those.
We liked the storyline ok, but we dont play these games for the storyline. We like the puzzles. There were plenty of creative puzzles, good artistry, and bonus material! We enjoy HOPs that have achievements, and this one delivers. Perfect.

This was a fun game to play. We love the setting and especially the music (although, the music would stop or cut out sometimes). It was an easier game, but nonetheless, really enjoyed it.
We absolutely love this game! Its so different than the normal games we play, you really feel like you are in the story. The music is great and characters are interesting and life like. We have definitely gotten our moneys worth it is a long game plus it has a bonus game. We have actually played it twice now witch we never do. If you try this game you will like it. We hope they make more games in this style!
The storyline is entertaining, the HOPs are colorful and not too hard, and crowns are well hidden. Great murder mystery.

We seldom write reviews, but this game deserves one. Like all the Cadenza games, the story is great and the music is wonderful. We generally turn off the music in the first 30 seconds of any game, but the Cadenza games leave us wanting even more. We hate it when it cuts before we finish the game or scene. The puzzles take a unique twist on HOPs and puzzles. They vary in difficulty and always advance the plot. The storyline is engaging and the images of Havana in the 50s are spot on. Heck, Havana looks like that now! Thanks, and please release another in the Cadenza series!
Nice change from the fantasy and horror themed games. Wish there were more of this genre.
Overall, a very enjoyable game. The first few scenes were very clear, a good sign this was going to an enjoyable game. The story line was straight forward. With a bit of thinking, you can quickly figure out your next step. There were a few minor glitches. The game requires you to tap on the screen after each sentence is spoken, even though the words are spelled out on the screen. There’s a slight issue with displayed text nearly covering the "X" needed to be pressed to exit a scene. The first HO was really good – it was a mix of finding matches as well as hidden objects. Other HOs were the standard search. As the game goes on, the HOs are a good mix. The mini puzzles are not too difficult, not too easy. To use items, just tap on the item and then tap where you want to use it. In some of the HOs, tapping does not work well on all the items. Just keep at it. This game was worth buying. Can’t wait for the next in the series.
The storyline makes sense and the artwork is good. Scenes arent cluttered and there are not TOO many locks requiring idiotic inserts to open. We also applaud the music and voice overs. Nothing new here but everything works as intended. Have to add – props to Big Fish! We forgot that we had already purchased the game and when we tried to re-purchase it we were reminded that we had already paid for the game. Bravo to BF!
We rarely review HOG games even though we play regularly but thought this one was just so much fun to play, the HO scenes are complex but easy, the mini games vary from simple to really hard and we even followed the story, something we never do. It was nice to play a game in the real world vs a fantasy or macabre one. And such a sweet ending. Fifth star left out because we sometimes had trouble getting items to stick when placed in the correct window. Still a gem among the genre.
The story line was probably one of the best we’ve seen but these games normally take us 3-4 days. (especially during quarantine) but we finished this one in less than 24 hours. Wish it was longer but great just the same.

We are so tired of games that money you to death. We were a Big Fish member for many years and loved buying a game you own and can play over and over. Then we got a new MacBook and it wasnt compatible with those games. We hope to find many new games for both our MacBook and iPad.
Having trouble with getting the fence clippers at the lab. The game doesnt allow the cutters to be picked up. Frustrating.
We bought this game and can play it on our new iPad, but the iPhone version had no sound even though we tried to find help on their website. It also wont bring up the info for mini games so we just had to wait until we could skip the game. Tried to open the guide for this game and couldnt even find it on their website. We’ve bought games from this site for years and since none of our 20+ credits were usable, had to pay for this game for only $2.99 to have something different to do during the COVID-19 stay in place. We didnt even finish the game and somehow it appears that we have completed all tasks playing on our phone.
We were its a good game but we cant get pass this one part because it wouldnt let us click on the key and we used the guide like four time and it still wont let us click on the key . Like its not there and so we cant go on with the rest of the game . We reset the game twice and it still didnt work . So it just need to improve on the click on objects and also you have to put an object it a certain part or it wont work which makes us mad but other than that it has a great story line and its fun these are just a few teks they need to fix on this game .
This game seemed to be very well built. The graphics are great and its very fun and intriguing but we had the hardest time figuring out what we needed to do because there werent any tutorials on how to play or what to do. Finally we just gave up. If they could add those in, we think it would be a great game!
We purchased this game for $6.99 and we were done in an hour. Absolutely ridiculously short. The game itself was decent, but a rip off for the price.
We seldom write a review. This is not a Hidden object but more puzzles. The hidden object games were ok but the puzzles were incomprehensible. There was a gem hidden in each location but they were almost impossible to see or find on our iPad. We dont even remember the story….. We dont know if we will bother to finish this and that is rare for us.
But, the issues with the music cutting out suddenly and not returning unless you restart the game were too much for us, even during the recent sale. Oh well. If there is ever an update to alleviate this issue, maybe I’d reconsider.
We love these games but this one has us stumped. We cannot get the elevator key to work in the hospital. We have tried everything that usually works. For this reason it gets a lower score. We just want to move forward and cant.
Purchased this for iPhone and got stuck when elevator key didnt work. Game isnt cross-compatible with iPad, so we purchased the iPad version hoping to finish, but elevator key still doesnt work.
This silly game cost us $6.99 and we stand forewarned not to purchase more games from this site. $1.99 would have been reasonable for the poor quality of the game. We think it was a high school project.
Its predictable. Its boring. Very good music and setting. Its not a challenging mystery. The story is just the framework for a series of ordinary games. At least there werent any silly little match 3 games up to the point when we quit. Finding the duplicates, searching for stuff, etc. Are the staples. This story is not the least bit challenging and definitely not worth $7.
We were having fun until our game wont go past the part in secret room when listening to recording. We keep clicking where we are supposed to for key and nothing happens. Would love to continue. Paid.
We purchased this game for $2.99 on sale. We were charged the full price of $7.46 seriously! This is the 3rd time we’ve paid full price! We cant figure out a way to talk to a person. So Im contacting our bank.
We get to the key on the picture and it freezes and on two different iPads. Dont purchase.
Played the demo. When the game said we should have the map, there was no map showing. Otherwise it looked fun and we might have purchased it.
