We are in love with these Cadenza games. Great story lines, fantastic jazz music, especially that piano stuff, good creative puzzles and beautiful graphics. Plus New Orleans. What’s not to love.
We like the game more adventuresome, not too many hidden objects scenes;the ones they had was varied. Nice story lines. Also we also like that characters interact well to gather.
This game was absolutely fantastic we enjoyed playing this game for hours. When we first seen it we knew that it was going to be great,because we played your other New Orleans game and we jumped up a chance to play this one. You guys Deserve an award this is the best game we ever played ever, and we played a lot of hidden object game ,in the hundreds. Keep up the great work. This game was interesting, clever and unique. Not to mention that half of the characters in this story are black, not caucasian. Finally a little racial diversity. Bought Cadenza: KoD on sale for $2.99 despite not being interested in the music theme. The game was definitely worth it and Big Fish should have more games at this price. The difficulty was customizable. Characters’ mouths didn’t move but the graphics were good overall. The HOS employed several unique mechanics and really elevated the game, although the objects themselves were a little too easy to find. Our only big gripe was how the game forced you along a very predetermined path, with little ability to wander around or complete objectives in any order but the set one. But that might make the game ideal for people who need more help or are new to the genre.
Here is the second in the cadenza series and another well done HOG from mad head and BFG. There is quite a bit of interaction with other characters, and the Hidden Objects are varied without going overboard. While the puzzles are a bit easy, we really enjoyed the story, the environment and the music. Oh and there is actually a map. You must go to the menu to get to it.
Love this game. Like all mad head games, the story line is great and the process is creative. Totally a great game, but why no free trial? It is good enough that it would excite us to buy it. The only reason not to have the free trials is if you are not confident the game is good enough to sell itself. Please bring back the free trials, BF is being unfair to its fans! We fee there are games that are getting hit and miss reviews that we might love, but l’m not willing the risk without tasting it.
Overall this game is very well done. The characters are interesting & have decent dialogue/interactions, the graphics are great, & the music is good, serving as a nice background. The difficulty is customizable to fit everyone’s preference & the hidden object scenes/mini games, although not very hard, are fun. There are only two things we fell could have been better. Accessing the map is inconvenient because you have to search in the menu to find it but since the scenes are set up so well, we didn’t need the map much anyway. The other thing are the HOS where you have to search for & uncover pairs to match. It really comes down to preference here, but we dislike those. Overall this is an outstanding game!

This was an AMAZING game! It had everything–story, graphics, music, intuitive puzzles and suspense. Most importantly, NO GLITCHES. This game was hard to justify price-wise, especially considering what other Big Fish games cost, but we’re glad we went for it. We will be playing this over and over again.
Mad Head Games makes the best HOAG and this one did not disappoint!!! Our only complaint would be we wish it was longer! Otherwise it had everything we look for in a game!!!

Mad Head games does it again! A Very exciting new murder adventure, with such unique game play. Investigating, finding items, hidden object scenes, characters, graphics all are outstanding. This is one game that really makes you think. Absolutely Love It! Not finished yet, however just wanted to thank the developers and Big Fish for this Great release and encourage others to purchase this game. It’s a real Gem!! KdBoots.
We enjoyed this game, and we’re not a game nut. Great story line, graphics, etc.. Voice overs a bit hokey, but fun to play.
You cannot beat these Cadenza games. Great story lines, beautifully executed with varied games, tasks and HOSs. This one’s another revenge story, but the villain is poisoning her victims with a kiss. You are the fianc of a victim, and work to save your love. Bonus chapter has a second villain trying to use the same tricks. Nice length, collectible tickets in each scene, morphing objects in HOS only, amazing graphics. Only negatives: oddly placed touch target fields and map is in menu. LOVE these stories with real humans-try Punished Talents if you do too. Thanks Mad Head for the great game!
Loved almost everything about this game – plot, games, puzzles, etc. The only improvement is that the 15 second refresh rate did not work in the difficulty menu. It kept reverting back to 90 seconds. This is too long to wait. Please fix. We will definitely purchase the sequel!

We’ve probably spent hundreds of dollars on HO games and never played with an African American woman character until this game. Wonderful to play a game with an African American heroine! Please do that more often; more diverse characters please. Even if theyre fairies, elves, detectives, critters … Latino, Asian, Native American, African American … Be more inclusive.
Mad head did a great job on this one. You are the fianc of a jazz pianist (a very romantic one!) and are planning your wedding when he has to do a last minute gig. Of course that’s when everything goes wrong! Morphing objects in hop, tickets to collect in every scene. No map and sometimes the mouths don’t move but bonus points for presenting people of color as the main character and heroine! We added a star for diversity.

Awesome Sauce. The best Mad Head has come up with so far. Creative twists with puzzles keeps us on our toes. Keep creating and we will keep buying. Two added stars for people of color as characters. Truly different. The music is a treat too.

Cadenza: Kiss of Death is wonderful, and well worth five stars! We have played the previous Cadenza game and was not as impressed. Mad Head Games has really improved with this one! The story line is coherent and interesting. As in the previous game, their Hidden Object scenes give you a bonus with each Found Object, and you get an extra item in the end. Love the little Star Tickets to be collected in each scene, too. There are additional Morphing Objects in your HO scenes. Your fianc has been poisoned, and you want to find ingredients for a cure. This takes you on another tour of New Orleans and the area. Even a swamp boat ride! Interesting visual effects, like the squirrel handing you a game piece. Definitely worth the price asked, and a beautiful diversion!
We love H.O.G. And this is one of THE best games we have played. So many twist and turns and we were completely absorbed in the storyline. The best thing about the game is the music (which we never keep on but we did throughout this game) and the racially diverse cast! Please, please make more of these games. We’re definitely hooked!
This game was one of the best BF games we have played in a long time. The story line was good, the jazz music was great we liked the Louisiana setting and feel we just wish it was twice as long, we hope for a sequel. Even the extra content was good, you could go back into the scenes and find the gold stars you missed, also has a few puzzles and small mini games. Just a great game!!!!
Greetings, Gamers: Oh, Mad Head Games, that bewitching way y’all have with this latest offering. A murder mystery set in moody, musical NOLA with all the trimmings is the next best thing to being there. Feeling as though we were part of the story, we were swept along in the dreamy adventure while solving riddles, clues and even doing some CSI work with Margaret the Morgue Lady. Yes, the map was awkwardly located and the tickets can be a distraction but these are minor complaints stacked against overwhelming raves for all other terrific aspects here. And the price? We have liked all the Mad Head games we’ve played. It is great to have a HOG that doesn’t have a bunch on supernatural elements for once. We also loved the location and characters. Music good. An excellent feature is being able to go back (in the Extras) and find all the little starred tickets that we missed the first time through. Quality game.

We rarely write reviews but this game has it all… Great, logical and engaging storyline, fun and interesting puzzles and HOPs, beautiful art. Loved it.
Once again, a great game by Mad Head, with beautiful art-deco style New Orleans graphics, and interesting cut-scenes. Objectives were updated regularly, inventory was labeled (and yes, there were those beloved plus items) and yes, people there was a teleport map! You just had to access it by going to the menu! Dracyy, as a Dream Team Elite member, we are surprised you didn’t realize there was even a map! Loading was instantaneous between locations. You collect ticket stubs, and in the HO scenes alone, there are morphing objects, so nothing to distract you in playing the game. The HO scenes were quite varied and interesting. The puzzles and games were fun, although were a bit simplistic. The game was very interactive, and you got to use detective tools in the bonus adventure, which was kind of neat. The game ran glitch-free and had a nice flow to it. The story was interesting and we did not feel like there was too much dialogue. That actually enhanced the game and made it feel like you were in a pulp fiction crime novel. The only reason that we deducted a star was that we felt the game was way too short, even with the bonus adventure. No RATS either, always a plus! We definitely want a sequel to this story, but please can you give us a longer game? However, the price was right, as the game only cost $3.00! Fun, logical and very interactive, we urge the Dream Team Elite to play this game! We just love Mad Head games; they are much more unusual than ERS or Elephant, or Elefun. More like EIPIX! Good job, Mad Head, how soon can we have the sequel? Soon we hope! We wish to send a huge shout-out to the DTE! We miss Snooper and Nambr and Moonbeam a lot! Hope you ladies are doing well! We were so excited to see this Mad Head/Cadenza series game. We had great expectations, and we felt that for the most part it lived up to them. Especially at the sales price. The good: great graphics and background music, beautiful cut scenes, a nice change of pace from medieval castles or fairy worlds. Varied HOPs were nice, a great storyline that holds together, and good character interaction. We liked that there was a story worth telling, bur understand that some reviewers didn’t. The so-so: slightly-too-easy mini games and sometimes we felt as if searching for golden tickets and morphing objects in bery scene and game took us out of the story. The bad: the map is hard to find (in the menu) and once you do, it isn’t very helpful. And the hint button wasn’t super helpful either. Still, definitely worth the sales price and recommend it as a buy! Hope everyone is well…
Superb game except for glitz where progress is erased!
We were glad to see a lot of improvement in this game (than the 1st one in this series). The graphics were great, the storyline good, and the HOS and puzzles fun.
Cadenza: KOD is a must play sequel! Great map, interesting puzzles and bargain for $2.99! Long-winded story line bogs it down some, but content makes up for it. Added a star for the music, especially the singing! Loved the first game-my all time favorite. Thank you, Mad Head. More, please!
