It’s slow, but fun to check in on from time to time.
Loved it at first but to many glitches in this game… It requires more axes then you have.

17 hours is too long to grow eggplant!! Produce should not take that long when you have to grow 8 to complete a quest! Otherwise great game!
We love this game, but we were very disappointed when the game started over and we lost all the progress we had made in playing for over a year. That was a very rotten thing to do.
We played this game awhile back. Last time we played it, we think, was about a year ago. Back then it was fun. Lots to do and cute characters. We finished everything there was to do, all of the quests. Sometimes they would have special quests for holidays, which were fun. After finishing all of them though, we kept waiting for updates, for both the kindle and IPad versions. Periodically, we still get on the game to check to see if there are any new adventures because we loved this game so much and would love to keep playing. BUT… We since we finished all of the quests on both the IPad and kindle, we havent seen any new updates in about a year. Is this game still being updated? Should we just throw in the towel and say goodbye to another cute, fun game we came to love? The only thing we didnt like about it is it forced social interaction. You had to rely on friends to send you some items, so if they didnt, you couldnt progress with a certain quest.
We’ve been playing this game for a few years and have never had a problem with loading. We noticed these past two days, the game will not load, therefore we cannot play this game. Thought the developers would like to know. Also, theres buildings that we cannot complete, as theres no access to items. An example: we need frog potion and we are unable to aguire it. Im also unable to buy the building materials with Gold Bars. Please let me/us players know, as Im sure Im not the only one experiencing same, how we may obtain these special items in the game. Thank you!
Fun game… You need patience we dont spend money ever on a game so Im finding we have to be very patient in waiting for completion of buildings and such we wish there was a way of playing this non stop when Im in the mood to game … Not possible…. We will hope that in the future the game will provide more game play by adding things to kill time while waiting for building and such to be completed…. Adorable graphics and fun personalities in the game characters….. We always like to say THANK YOU for creating a game. Soooo THANK YOU.
Game keeps says that they are making updates. It shouldnt take a week to get this completed. Please fix because we enjoy this game! Otherwise we would have rated it 5 stars.

Perfect for our 3 yr old granddaughter but not as exciting to our 10 yr old grandson.

A little upset purchased some axes n not the game wont open keeps saying Wally playing with servers please try again for a whole week bout to delete game smh.
The game starts off wonderfully with lots of things to do to keep you amused. However, without any updates (I see the last one was done about a year ago), we seem to have reached the point where there is literally nothing more to do with the game. We realize that the developers have probably moved on to pursue the development of other games, but it is still a pity that nothing more seems to be being done with this one. Update: we really wish that there was a way to respond directly to the developer, as we find their response dubious. They state that they are constantly working on new developments, but as stated above, the last update was a year ago. Constant work should mean constant updates, shouldnt it? All we can say is, at this point we will believe it when we see it, and we will change our review above depending on the improvements (if we dont end up getting so bored of waiting for updates that we remove the game from our cloud first)…
We like the game but getting the things you need to build your town you have to buy. It use to be that you could get them as rewards for building, why did you change It?
We have played this game on three different occasions, every time we get to the ax generator, Wally is messing with the internet. This game is a lot of fun to play but frustrating when you can no longer play it. If anyone is having the same issues, we would appreciate feed back. Thanks.
Need help but can’t just send a simple email to get it. Had this game on our Samsung & was really far but it quit working. Now we have an iPhone. Have no idea if or how to get that old game that $ was put into. We’ve downloaded the game to our new phone & ur game logged us in under "rock you" instead of the user name we made & now idk how to fix that, can’t add neighbors b/c of it & $ been put into the game. If we don’t get some help w/this we’re about to just be done w/all of ur games.
This game is frustrating. You need beyond patience to play. Youll need 30 dye or 30 shields to open a building, but visiting the buildings that provide these things rarely produces them. We liked it at first, but we can rarely complete the quests anymore.
Now we remember why we deleted this app to begin with. It always says walley is tinkering with the servers no matter what our signal is, it doesnt load anymore. Please fix we really miss this game.
This game was great at one point. Then the creators started a money grab to try to get people spending more on micro transactions. Gave a lot of reasons to spend axes but with very little payoff. We think over time they backed off a bit but eventually they gave up on fixing and developing much more for the game. Too bad :(
Use to love this game but now it wont load.
Don’t bother wasting your time. This game is impossible. Unless you watch videos or level up, you cant earn axes which are required to advance in the game. This is the 3rd game by Rockyou we have tried and we wouldn’t recommend any of them.
Its been a year and this game still have problems it want even openvery disappointed really wanted to play.
Used to play a lot. Went back to it after a year or so and it wont even go past the loading screen.
Update:04/20/2020 Game still super glitchy. Attempts made to contact app support we continuously get an error screen. We used to love this game on our android phone great for passing the time. Now that we have an iPhone it only half works. Its completely full of glitches. To purchase the correct building of plant we have to go like 6 choices past the one we need and click on one until it finally produces the correct item. The words for the quests are jumbled and spread throughout the screen. Even the quest line has extremely unusual dead space between the quest. Hopeful it will be fixed soon and we can resume our five star rating before we uninstall complete and give up on yet another game that used to be worth the time.
We have contacted Brightwood through email. We have bought axes and starter pack and once we purchase them the app wont open still getting charged but we dont get to use the things we purchase then we uninstalled it to reinstall it everything we have done in the village the coins, cheers, gold we previously had and that we have accumulated is there except for what we purchased.
This is a game we love to our heart but cannot believe we have to start over on our blu phone (level 42), iOS 13.3.1. (not much of levels) and Samsung tablet (level 44) and funny we have a vast amount of animals on our Samsung tablet… We have tried previously in asking to join all of them along with the mommies and crystals joining together as we have worked so hard to reach these levels daily sometimes twice daily and its to no avail… No one has even responded.. Thus its one star… Whenever we can have the three together as one with all of our animals, moneys & christals then it will be a pleasure to rate this a 5 star….
Hello,Developers we have downloaded your game app before. When we have the game downloaded. The assignment we have says to buy the Smithy. But when we go to buy the building. We cant buy it. We instead get the Watch Tower. So please fix the bugs that are in your game app. Because it clearly isnt working how it is suppose to.
We played this game a while ago, spent about $300 on it over the years. They wont respond to our emails to get our game back. We’ve been waiting for a couple days now. While playing it newly installed there was a deal for $0.99, we clicked purchase (so did our boyfriend on his game) and they both shot up to $2.99. We asked Facebook support and they said its TAXES!! That didnt even exist before, what you saw was what you paid. This is ridiculous and they are trying to trick people into spending more money. READ BEFORE YOU PURCHASE.

The game is glitching really bad. We tried to build a lean to and that wasnt working. Then we tried to build a watch tower and the game wouldnt let us. Please fix.
Interesting game but you hit the pay wall early on.
When the game tries to load it keeps saying Wally must be playing again with the servers. Please give us a few minutes and try again. Im having a similar issue with Westbound.
The game starts off wonderfully with delightful art and imagery. But quickly gets mired in bugs and glitches. And it’s still having issues after all these years. This game does not appear to have anyone working to repair bugs. Which is a shame. This game looked to be a lot of fun and had great potential. The team behind this game let a great things die.

So the brightwood story is a good story because it’s about a lost abandon little town. Also there is a change that we would make don’t let people start out with only 8 axes. So there fore this is a great game!
