This is a solid restaurant management sim. The gameplay is good patrons come and sit down, order and will served by your staff. Your waiters and waitresses will take the orders and your Chefs will cook it up. Its enjoyable to watch and see your business progress Where there needs to be improvements: The economy is very unbalanced. Ingredients are costly, hunting for ingredient's is limited in what you find. There needs to be better tracking of how your restaurant is doing: All dishes served, customer satisfaction etc Progression is very slow after several years, it is not easy to unlock and discover recipes/furniture etc, and patrons feel limited and do not fill up your restaurant That said, the game is very fun and very replayable.
Played this during 2017 and we enjoyed this game so much, 100% completed this game 5 times, needs a sequel.
This is definitely one of Kairosofts best games. If they started churning out games like this again, we would be a lot more likely to purchase it than their freemium stuff.

We love this game. When we want an immersive challenge, we pull it out and play through, but we are having a problem. After we reinstalled it, some of our ingredients have too many stars which makes it impossible to make the low end recipes like veggie stir fry. Our cabbage has three stars. We have uninstalled and reinstalled, but that didnt seem to help.
We love playing your games hope to see more! We also hope to see some idle like kind of games if possible. Thank you for your hard work on making these games.

We think this is one of the best Kairosoft games.
Plenty of fun to be had with Cafeteria Nipponica. Just as beautiful as all the rest. As a side note, Kairosoft games make excellent road trip companions. For $5.00 you can make that long, boring car ride go by and then some. The grip which Kairosoft can hold you with astounds us every time, whether we've played the particular game before or not.
Although we love every Kairosoft game we have played, there is something incredibly charming about running your own restaurant business and assigning staff, pleasing customers, and developing new dishes. While there isn't as much to do actively in this game as some others (obviously there's no battle system or anything, and you can't directly control your staff), this game has an excellent aesthetic that tops many of their other games. Our only complaint is that some of the news text posts have two lines that run together–an oddly common bug in their games.

Make a fast food restaurant story you can make it like sonic the restaurant or McDonald's make the full version free like beastie bay.And make a Hibachi grill game free also.
This game is just so good and time consuming. It even teaches people how to partially run a business. That is exactly why there should be a Seccond version of this game. Maybe there can be new workers, new destinations, and even some new food to serve. If you do in fact make a Seccond game, we would definitely buy it.
We doubt you will see this, as we've waited a year to write this review, but we think you guys should make a game where you run either a hospital or a police department. We feel like that sort of thing would provide a lengthy game-playing experience. Also, all of your games are very addicting, and we can't wait to see if our wish comes true.
We have really gotten used to this game. We play this game on a daily basis, and we have really gotten used to every single of our workers. We really love this roleplay game, and we wish you can make more like this. We've gotten really far. Currently, we're on the tenth year, and our money record is over 70,000. We're almost the first cafe in all the areas, too ;3. We can't wait to see what happens when we get to the 3rd month of the 16th year.
We love the games but they are getting more expensive , we know that is business but we have to stop buying them now.
One of the least daunting Kairosoft games, and yes we have played them all! Kairosoft please make more games, sports versions are cool. Maybe hockey or basketball? We'd pay $4 easily.
If your looking for a fun game them look no further in this kairosoft game you're put in to the role of a restaurant owner. The game has a nice pace you can even set the theme.
Ignore the bad reviews. This is the only Kairosoft game so far that let's you make three of your business on each file. You do have to just sit and watch every now and then. But it's not bad, it's GOOD. Watching your restaurants come to life is AWESOME. You see the waiter take the order, the chef cook, and the people eat. Whoever doesn't find that interesting is impatient and not imaginative at all. (Warning: Don't move your restaurants too quickly or else you will miss hidden surprises later on).
It's so fun and the reason it gets sorta hard during the game is because it's teaching how reality works like you start to loose money and customers at some points but we give it a 5 star.
Really good game. Been a sucker for all kairosoft games and have to say this is the best one based on restaurants. Please make cruise story iOS and ninja story iOS we want em.
To what some might say, we think this is the easiest of games from this developer to figure out. We love the concept it's fairly easy to pick up and super addicting. 5 stars all around. They deserve it.
We just love this game. HSS is good but so is this and it made us want to play more even after we finished the story. It's a challenge but it's worth it! We wish there was a second part~.

Fantastic game! Lots of online walkthrough available for those who want to level up their recepies faster. We dont care for the "Special Chef's" and would like more events but we still love the game. We have played 3 times through and just started the 4th time. So much carries over. So fun.
Another satisfying release from Kairosoft, but with the incredible amount of recipes, the replay satisfaction of this game is better than most others.
More realistic when it comes to managing a restaurant compared to other restaurant games.

We wish you could give this app to be able to fire people and take things off menus and give to another store.
This game is so addicting and frustrating at same time. There's just so much stuff we need to do in the game. Being a perfectionist like we are, we really want to max out all our staffs to kairo staff and all our dishes… To do that, we think we've spent at least 200 hours -_-" and we're still not there yet.

Another fantastic game from kairosoft :).
We love this game but sometimes the music can be a little too distracting or loud and even if you change the volume from the menu, and then you come back and out of the app – the music is still playing on the loudest setting. Even if you get all of the restaurants to max expansion, only the last restaurant (heavenly hills) will be bigger than the other two so even if you think they are all fairly popular with the customers, that last one will still make more than the other restaurants. The employees have fixed salaries. Suggestions: 1. Please update the game to have more than 3 restaurants at a time. 2. Have the option to fire employees with terrible stats and be able to hire new ones with better stats. 3. Fire hired people that you get from the plan events and then have the option to rehire them until you are satisfied with their salary (this is great if you hired previous ones and then you just figured out how to hire them the right way). We have "Gordon Ramsay" sitting at $2k salary which is our fault but we would love to have the option to rehire him at a lower rate. (He's permanently benched right now sadly.) 4. Make gold flakes more available on the shop. We've seen truffles and other stuff pop up more often and they cost more than the gold flakes yet it's still more uncommon to see gold flakes. 5. Demote people/Lower their salary or at least have the option to adjust their salary. We apologize for the long review but hopefully the devs are reading this and thank you for the time.
Super fun but to much money we love kairosoft games but they cost to much we think you should lower the price to 99 cents and then that would be awesome.
Fun and odd little game. We're enjoying it. If you like restaurant and time management games thus is great. It's more on the level of being a boss of your own restaurants. It's fun learning how to play. It's mysterious as of now. Creating new dishes and searching forests for treasure. Like we said. Strange. But we like it. Can't put it down for long!! We think the price has been lowered too. Last time we looked it was 6.99 we think. Now it's 3.99. Fine by us!! It's just a little hard to figure out or we would've given it 5 stars. :).
We like this game but its our least favorite from this developer. It's harder to figure out and difficult to get money. We don't mind a challenge but a lot of this game is waiting around to get money. We'd buy some of the others first that are more fast paced like the kingdom or mall themed. Not a terrible game just a little dull and difficult. Find an online tutorial to help get going.
We had an iPhone 4 and we had this game, when we upgraded our phone we reinstalled the game and the game doesn't fit the screen just right. Other than that this is a really good game…keep it up Kairosoft.
From the start, we found ourselves guessing a lot on the consequences of purchases. The many intricacies of the game are very confusing, to the point where you don't have confidence in what your doing. Only 1 blog has enough insight into the games intricacies, and even that is frustratingly confusing. After a while this game became a burden to play, enough so that we haven't opened it in several days.
This game is really fun but it's hard to figure out certain things. For example, how do you give your employees energy? What's the purpose of developing new dishes? What do the indicators by ingredients mean when developing a dish.
