They happen every 10 or so moves yes Ive counted. Look, we enjoy the game well enough but Im at the point where either we cant play for long due to sheer annoyance or enter a cycle of restarting the app every time it threatens us with another 30 second ad. This wasnt even how it was a while back, used to be able to play without Wi-Fi but now you cant even open the app! Screw leaderboards we just wanna play the game we wasted space on our tablet to get.
We literally just played this game for a hour straight and it was a blast. P.S its a great time killer too.

The more coins you purchase, the more it will cost to move, shatter or discard the current available slices, rather than an affordable static price for each type. Buyer beware! The most annoying feature of this game is the frequency and length of ads. Developers have still not figured out that to engage your customers, ads need to be 15 seconds or less, or interactive not just demonstrative if longer. Ads should be much less frequent than in between every level and randomly in the middle of a level to keep players from deleting the game in disgust. Since our last writing, at the beginning levels, the ads are mercifully shorter, and interestingly varied, but after level 16, the ad duration gets longer. Ads are irritatingly frequent-about every 20 moves or so. The cost of moving one piece, discarding current choices or clearing one location keeps increasing every time you use that option. Thankfully, coins and tokens are reasonably inexpensive except for the ability to relocate a piece on the board, as previously mentioned. That being said, it is an addictive game, something the developers are counting on to take money from you.
We used to have another cake or a game on our phone and it used to drain all our battery and show us so many different ads and we had to pay for everything and it wouldnt let us play our music but this one is nice and peaceful. We get to do everything that we want to do without so many ads. The only thing we will say is that the cakes are super far away and kinda hard to see we have to have our phone tire far from our face, so it doesnt strain our eyes, but thats all just make the cakes bigger so we can see.
Early on we earned new cakes. One time it seemed one after another in quick time. Its been many, many months now with zero new cakes.seemingly no progression through the game. Yes, its a simple mind numbing game but itd be nice to have more variety.
Ive had this game for over a year. It didnt have nearly as many ads as it does now. Theyre now happening every four or five moves. Not even worth playing the game anymore. And Im not spending eight dollars to not play without ads for a game that we had been playing previously without interruption. The game was actually kinda cool but now Im deleting it.
This is a great game but there are so many ads, we couldnt have fun. We deleted it after a day.
We really enjoy this game; however it needs an update. The weekly contest no longer exists so we no longer get new cake options. The daily challenges have been greyed out since the start of the year. There hasnt been a new journey in almost a year. Is this still an active game? Are the developers no longer investing in this app. With the over abundance of ads that we have to sit and watch to now only have a base game is what will make us loose interest in playing the game.
The ad breaks are ridiculous and we cant stand them.
We get that apps have to make money, but the amount of ads is the reason this app gets such a low score. Not to mention the amount of times Ill say eh, whats one ad, we dont mind and its a minute and a half ad. And they often occur back to back. You can dodge the ads if you play off wifi, but you miss a lot of the features like help items or editing the bakery. If you dont like ads, or paying to get rid of them, dont waste your time.
Yet again another good game ruined by the obsessive amount of adds. Since the last update its beyond disappointing what has to been done and is no longer fun to play. Now Ill have to find another go to game after loving this one for quite some time.
It gave us the option to watch a video for a reward, so we did. The app glitched, wouldnt stop forcing us over to the App Store so we had to exit out of the game, and it didnt even give us our reward that we watched the video for. Super annoying and beyond stupid we dont mind watching ads but not if theyre gonna mess up like that.
Ad breaks can be annoying, but otherwise, this is a fun and calming puzzle game that can be played at a leisurely pace.
Since the last update the gate is not giving us new cake slices after we put the ones up on the game bored. Its not playable anymore.
This game has too many ads. Then they charge you 8.00 to supposedly get rid of them.
This is the worst game.. States NO ADS, but everyone you make a move you get an ad. Dont waste your time.
The bonus reward system moves faster over the higher multipliers, which is not a big deal. The bar is rigged to give you the lowest multiplier – it will stop dead over the x2 when it had been counting bonuses on a slide until it stop scale, and then cour based on where you pressed stop if it would slide into a big multiple.
We like the concept of the game, but it has way too many ads. We timed them, anywhere from every 2-5 minutes an ad pops up and you have to watch the 30-60 second ad before you can resume your game. It was such an annoyance that we just stopped playing all together.
So you get to a certain point youre no longer able to unlock cakes (or even purchase them). Its redundant now.
The Collections have taking this game to a whole new level of fun! On this alone, we recommend you trying the game as it makes the different levels with new challenges so much fun.

We tried playing yesterday and saw that our score was messed up. When we clicked the button to play it immediately said we had unlocked another cake, but we know we wasnt close yet. The screen was only the usual purple background after that, so we closed the game and reopened it only to have the same issue, but now it was saying we had earned yet another cake without having done anything. Please fix this because we cant play and its ruining the fun of unlocking the rest of the cakes.

First off we love this game and Ive never really written a review. But this drives us insane and this is what is making us write this review. All the time when youre in the middle of playing this game thinking about what to do next and an ad pops up!! We swear it pops up every 30 seconds or at least it feels that way!! This is way too many ads at the most inappropriate times. They recently did an update to shorten the ads which was really nice but theyre still way too many ads, we know they are aware that this is a problem and we hope that they take care of it. Im not looking for something free but when we invest a certain amount of time, we dont want to be spammed with tons of ads. There are plenty of other games if a company is reasonable about their ads we are fine playing for long periods of time. But when you spam us with ads, or the balance isnt right with ads we go to other games.
The game has no more progression after a certain point, and lately we cant even play the daily challenges because they auto complete. We havent been able to play a single daily challenge this month because it just says ive already completed it even tho we havent. Im ready to uninstall the app.
This is a fun app – but the ads continue to be problematic. Most recently, an add for an App on the AppStore is partially covering the bottom navigation buttons as well as the banner ad on the bottom of the screen. Id also like to see less ads (or at minimum less repeated ads).
Not sure if that is glitch or what. Theres a spam ad for an Amazon product that shows up randomly when playing the game.
We only play the daily challenge of this game. The regular game got to repetitive to us. Honestly the daily challenges are getting to be the same way considering they just repeat the same ones. This isnt the first time which is why we are writing a review. The daily challenge is broken. You open the app and it says you have already completed that days challenge. We are sure it will be like before that eventually things get fixed and then you have to go back and do them all.
It would be a perfect game but when we watch a ad for a premium cake, the add will freeze at the end and we get stuck with the regular new cake. And we shouldnt have to use the Mail app to contact support, they need a regular contact email or allow communication within the game app, like every other game does.
Often we will have cakes next to each other but the pieces wont move over, or theyll constantly shift from plate to plate and never eliminate the cake. Its frustrating because we need the room for other cakes. This happens almost every game.
Too many AD breaks in such a short amount of time. Sometimes the AD breaks are not even a minute apart.
We loved unlocking the little cakes until we reached an achievement mark to unlock the new swirl cake and it would just reset. Nothing to work towards in the game anymore now that we cant unlock stuff Happened to our friend playing the game too at the same spot. Very frustrating.
Really fun app, but theres an ad thats been popping up at the bottom of the screen that automatically opens up and it seems like a scam): It claims youve won a free prize.
This game shows an ad every minute it seems. You cant even get a nice streak going before there is another ad. We like the game but will be uninstalling due to the ads.
Im really enjoying playing this game, but when an ad appears, our screen often locks up, and we actually have to uninstall the program and reinstall it. Other than that, we highly recommend.
This was a fun game but we quickly passed all the levels until we reached the limitless one, which you are stuck playing a continuous game with the same cake so we ended up deleting the app.
We like this game a lot, but the ads are way too long and they play the same ad over and over again (Royal Match). Its enough to make you nutty seeing the same ad continually. We dont mind watching some ads to play a game, but this game has way too many long ads. The ad goes on forever. We will put up with it for a little while, because we really enjoy the game, but then we finally cant do it anymore and go on to play another one of our games. In addition there is a new ad for a game called Splashlearn, and every time it plays the ad freezes up and we have to restart and we loose any rewards points we would have earned. Please fix, or we may delete the app, because it is so frustrating.
Get through the new cakes in a day then it takes like two months for them to add more. So boring.
Im am writing this review because we have quite enjoyed this game. But the biggest reason we are giving it five stars, is because this game is one of the very few that didnt lie about what the game was in the ads. Ive been so infuriated with other games because they are very different from what their ads state they are like. This game is not like other games and is true to its ads. Its simple, its fun, you are constantly cycling out different cake designs. We think its worth playing . Find out for yourself.
Hi. Our mom got this game, and her son is writing this for her. She got this game because she saw an ad for it, and she thought it looked satisfying. She keeps playing it because she likes it. However, she thinks that it costs too much for what its worth. Keep up the good work.
This game on the baseline is great, addicting puzzle game to pass the time. Problems include the adventure mode; levels of the game you have to clear that should work for this game but if you have a limited number of moves, why make the cakes you get so rng? It shouldnt take 20 minutes to 3 star one level. Not only do you have to deal with not getting the cakes you want, the amount of cakes is also random, so you can play a level perfectly and still lose do to terrible rng that only allows you to win on some levels 2% of the time with ads on every retry. Imagine playing Angry Birds where the levels have birds you cant see until theyre in your slingshot and they are also random each time, The levels you would need certain birds at certain times would take too many resets to keep interest. Speaking of ads the bugginess and length of som of these ads make us just close out of the app and reopen. You get ads just by playing the game which is to be expected, a little too often but its bearable, well sort of. You also get ads if you get a text you want to check or anything else on your phone, when you come back there is an ad. Biggest bug and oversight is: These. Ads. Stack. If you had an ad break before you switch apps, congratulations you have another you have to watch on top of that ad, so you get condition just to close the app whenever you need to check something. Another issue with them is are used to be all around five seconds before you can skip them. Now, some could be half a minute with no skip it all, with the added bonus of bringing you to the ads app page twice before actually getting back to the game, which again just conditions you to close out the app when ads start, which of course makes this app a chore to play now. Tl;dr: Adventure mode is terribly overlooked with limited number of moves for purely RNG based levels that make clearing levels take over 20 attempts, and ads are buggy and gotten out of hand with number and length.
There are too many time passing games that are similar to waste time on a game that has this absurd amount of ads. It is almost unplayable. Every 5-10 moves youre interrupted by ads. We understand ads for additional moves, boosters, extended time, whatever. But the point of the game is to relax, play a puzzle, and why would anyone pay for ad free when there are THOUSANDS of games to choose from? It really ruins the experience.
In airplane mode you dont get ads but as soon as your turn it off theres ads every 30 seconds. And even when there arent ads theres pop ups in the middle of you trying to play to promote other parts of the game. Th first few levels are easy enough but when you reach a certain point you physically cannot beat it without watching ads to get the super hammer to resume where you left off. The highest points we managed was 700 something before failing every time because we had airplane mode on to keep ads off. While the game was enjoyable at first it gets frustrating fast to be unable to beat the level without being a slave to the ads.
The concept itself is great but we feel as though more of our time spent on the app is watching ads rather than even playing the game.

5 star game but minus a star because the ads are so frequent, if you dont mind spending 7$ supporting this game it just a bonus you get rid of ads.
