About Calcudoku math puzzles:

Every Calcudoku has a single solution that can be reached logically. Like Sudoku, fill in the grid such that no two digits repeat in any column or row. Use the shapes in the grid as your guide. Each shape contains a number equaling the product of the shapes’ digits. For example a shape with three cells containing the number 6 may have cell values 1, 2 and 3, as 1 × 2 × 3 = 6. Challenge yourself further with larger grids for experts, up to 9×9 size!

Calcudoku offers thousands of free math puzzles with features to help you solve each puzzle. Enjoy an unlimited number of hints and checks in case you get stuck. Use the calculator tool to help with multiplication and division against large numbers. And rest assured that all puzzle games are automatically saved and restored letting you stop and restart games with ease.

Track your best and average solve times over history with our stats tracker.

Calcudoku, a popular Sudoku variant, was originally invented in 2004 by Japanese math teacher Tetsuya Miyamoto.

You can play Calcudoku by Razzle Puzzles on your phone and tablet. Enjoy Calcudoku online or in offline mode!

… Is that we cant. Stop. Playing.

Love the 9×9 grid. Just wish this particular choice had larger print.

We like this, but it has two flaws: no undo button (for when we accidentally touch something and change a cell we didnt mean to and then cannot remember what was there) AND it doesnt reorient the screen. If we are using our charge cable, we cannot use this app.

Combines two related disciplines. Early levels relatively easy, but higher levels still seem too hard for us, after a few weeks of practice. We enjoy it.

Its a good app for being free. Add banner on the bottom is all we’ve had to deal with. But we cannot listen to music from other apps while playing, despite there not being any sounds from this app. Also noticed that this app doesnt appear in our settings…? Not quite sure why, as all our other apps do.

We liked the game. We think it be nice to review the completed puzzle before going to the next game.

The app runs solidly with no issues, but it needs some more flexibility to choose difficulty, and honestly its just too simple. We had an Android app that was much more challenging as your skill improved, but sadly the publisher doesnt have an iOS version. This one is good to learn the game for awhile.

Really like the game but no option to purchase. Im fine with the banner at the bottom but when it interrupts for a 30second pop up when Im into playing its annoying.

Seriously, we were hooked when we first started, this is our new go to game! But, when the app is up and running, our iPad doesn’t go to sleep… Ever. Battery draining when we happen to need to walk away from our iPad for an unknown amount of time. Is there a setting somewhere we can fix??

Great app. Im going to borrow some of these puzzles to show our 6th graders. Itll really help their deductive reasoning.

Tools work well and need no explanation. Fun to play.

Simple, straightforward fun. No advertising shenanigans, no excessive pay to play, just good, cathartic mathematical puzzles with no strings. Love it.

Love this game. Such a refreshing and more challenging change from sudoku. Easy to use and offers endless hours of brain exercise.

Never been very good with numbers… But this is great!

Easy to use. Fun to do. It is almost there. Our suggested enhancements are to allow user to select difficulty. One puzzle could have addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division or any combination of equations. When using Notes allow users to decide if they want the Notes to automatically update or not. Allow users to select more than one box to simultaneously add the same notes.

We just started playing this site. Before doing so, we had downloaded several other kenken game apps, and was disappointed by every one of them. One app, once EVERY kenken or Sudoku was finished, the screen switched to joining/paying for other apps – one for changing your voice and appearance to those of celebrities. We found no way to exit from these solicitations, and finally had to resort to doing a hard reset every time so that we could them enter the kenken/sudoku app afresh. Also, the app doesn’t allow you to correct a mistaken entry, as you would be able to in a book of sudoku or kenken, instead listing mistakes from 1 to 3, and saying that you lost after three mistakes. After about 10 games, we ditched the app. We have, in a matter of a couple of hours filled in love with this kenken app. You can choose from grids of 3 to 9. The grids are challenging but doable, and the add allows you to change responses without being assigned mistakes. You win when you correctly complete the grid. And, MOST IMPORTANTLY, the app does not send you to app sales sites after the completion of every grid. We have just completed one of the 3, 4, 5, and 6 panel grids, and am looking forward to challenging myself with the 7, 8, and 9 grids tomorrow. It is now 1:00 AM, and we must get some sleep before work tomorrow, but we plan to open this app after dinner tomorrow. Although we have yet to play this app a lot, based on our earlier experiences with Sudoku and KenKen apps, we feel this is the best one out there. Pick this KenKen app if you want to enjoy a challenge, while not having to fight the app itself.

Enjoying this. So far we have completed the 3×3 grid. Moving on to a more challenging one. Senior citizen.

Great fun. Sometimes crashes and we’ve had to reinstall – losing scores in the process. Main complaint is that it doesnt work like Sudoku with 1-9 digits in each 9 square as well as in rows and columns.

This has become one of our favorite games. The user interface is easy and straight forward. The multiple levels of difficulty make it more interesting. We do have one suggestion. When you have candidates in an open square and a candidate gets erased when a number is put in another square, if that number were to be erased later, could you reinsert the erased candidate?

Works well, but the ads are starting to become increasingly intrusive.

Good to exercise the brain a bit.

Frustrated: we dont see how to contact the developer so Ill share an issue here. We enjoy the app but the latest update doesnt seem work. We play Calcudoku each morning but today the game doesnt launch. We also tried clicking on the Open button, from the apple App Store, and it still doesnt launch. We see that version 1.31 was launched 1 day ago so Im wondering if that might be part of the problem. We see that v.1.32 the is shown in the version history now. We still cant launch the game on our iPad. Frustrating = watching your stats get better then loose it all. This game is not for us.

New games at all levels. Not too many ads.

This is a great app and fun to play. We only wish there was a way to permanently mute the ads between games. That additional feature would easily earn the 5th star.

Good challenge, the function boxes can contain duplicate numbers.

Would love to be able to choose the difficulty and operations as in the kenken app, but thankful number of games isnt limited as they do.

This one is probably the best designed of the kenken games. The visual design is good, and its easy enough to use. Theres no way to select level of difficulty, and the puzzles are all on the easy side, though. There are also a couple of quirks, like being able to pencil in numbers that have already been played in the row or column, and not having an undo button seems like a huge miss, since its dead easy to implement.

We keep getting the same puzzles over and over. We keep getting told the rules almost every time we play. This is crazy!

We accept that ads are the thorn in the side of many game app users. And almost without exception we can tune it out or just move along. We have loved this game for years. Lately, however, a new ad [company unknown, not gonna click on it] has been playing at the bottom of the screen with a FLASHING RED PATCH that is so over-the-top distracting that it is nearly impossible to concentrate on the game. And considering that concentrating is necessary to solve the math aspect, if it doesnt stop soon, we will stop playing this game all together.

Interface is great, but there is no way to turn off the sound, or even lower its intensity. Im up early in the morning, and like to play it then, or while watching tv with family. No longer an option. Im bummed. This was our go-to app.

We play this all the time to fall asleep or calm down. Would love to pay a few bucks and have an ad-free version!

We just love this game as a step up from traditional Sudoku! Great that it allows a person to adjust to their comfort level while playing.

Great game , but interface would be better if UNDO wasnt two steps and if notes function indicated when it was on.

This is a nice, basic Ken Ken game. Its easy to use with no flashy distractions. We would like an easier way to undo our last movemaybe just an undo arrow. This is minor, though, as undo is an option in the menu.

We also dont like how you dont get a cue that you are in pencil mode versus large font mode. We do like the game and challenge though. Plus the option to choose different size playing boards.

Repeatedly when we take the hint button it doesnt allow us to put a Hidden to the Square. Frustrating game.

Very fun and challenging. Great way to tease the mind for a few minutes.

We love number games because we love numbers one of our favorite things is Nerdle an online game which is a daily game but we need some thing that we can do continuously and this helps me.

We I downloaded this game for a long car drive. But we played it before the car drive and it was so much fun it also does not need Internet at least for us. In this game its a great puzzle we are a sixth grader and we do these in our math class and its just fun to have a version that we like. One thing though on the parts of the puzzle where theres three different boxes you can only put two little notes if its the same number. But other than that this is a great game and you should definitely get it.

No stress and easy to find your mistakes. Great way to keep brain cells working.

Great game. Nicely coded. And best of all, short as dirt other games. Thanks for that.

Great Puzzle GamesSudoku with a twist!
