The Callys cave 3 is not working we made it threw the first world but it will not let us play the rest of the game. So God we PRAY IF THIS KEEP UP THAT YOU WILL PUT THE DEVELOPER OF CALLYS CAVE 3 to death in JESUS NAME we PRAY AMEN. It says there is a fatal arrow.
We just finished this game and it was great, the combat and story were amazing. We are about to download Callys caves 4, so by the time Im done we hope you will continue to make awesome games.
Beat this one first and then went back and finished the second one. Definitely like how this one is more story heavy. Better mechanics and weapon upgrades. Cant wait to play cc4.

Our kids love it too! There's a TON of great free content, the last update about doubled it. You can beat the game without any in app purchases (we did), and then we bought some in-app purchases as much as a thank you to the developers as anything (although you can choose a lot of cool new stuff with the IAP's like new weapons level ups and worlds, but definitely not necessary to beat the free worlds.) Can't wait Til Cally's Caves 4.
This game is extremely underrated. The storyline presents a unique goal that you must achieve. The creativity of the weapons in this game is fantastic.

The level design and story are not top notch, but the gun variety and the fact that they change and grow more powerful with use is probably the funnest thing about the game. First game in a while we actually got into and finished on mobile.
We finished it what now it's was a great game and we think it had a beautiful pacing with it's difficulty spikes but buying upgrades was a little tidiest and kinda hard but we got thou the hole game and wait for the next one.
This game is a lot of fun. We like all the different weapons and the infinite ammo makes the gameplay more fluid.
So much fun we can't believe it is essentially free to play. We enjoyed this sooooo much considering purchasing the upgrade addon thing to show our support.
The difficulty progression is perfected, the level design is perfected, this is flawless artwork in the form of a video game.
We're giving it 5 just because but if there is a way you can make it stop crashing when we're in the tittle screen that would be great. It's probably cuz we have iPad Mini but can you fix that please.
We were looking around for good free games for our phone when we came across this little gem. An amazing 2d platformer, with great music, tons of content without needing to pay for any of it (and the extra paid content we consider totally worth it), and surprisingly intuitive controls that don't hamper gameplay due to the platform. We love this game, and we're looking forward to Cally's Cave 4.
This game is fantastic! Although, we wrote this review because we were going to go in and buy the extended version and the app won't open anymore! D: But we still want to buy it :(.
The best ever the music is sorta Loud but we never really listen to it.
First of we wasn't forced into writing a review of this rating Second of this game is amazing, everything you could want in a platform game for mobile devices From weapon and upgrades you money multipliers and food(health/buffs) there are plenty of things in this game to keep you busy.
This review is taking into consideration that we have not played the previous games. This is a surprisingly fun game. It puts us in mind of what would happen if Penny from "Inspector Gadget" decided to do things her way…with guns! The bad (to get it out of the way): The music is loud. It often drowns out the sound effects. This is a shame, because the music is actually pretty good. If a volume slider were implemented, it would be even better! No way to remove advertising short of disconnecting from online. They are not terribly intrusive, but still catch by surprise. The original part one of the series seems to have been removed from the store. The good: Really nice graphics. Controls aren't bad for touch screen. Plenty of variety. This game is really worth a try.
We love this game its one of our favorites but their is no invisible frames so whenever you get hit the enemy can just knock you back over and over. Also sometimes we couldnt open the menu and sometimes we did open the menu but by accident. The menu for the weapons is what am talking about. Plus this game has good graphics. But the game is hard because there are no invincibility frames and the game the not let you swim at the start. However the weapons at least most of them are fun to use like a mega man game but you can level it up like in ratchet and clank. Also in some levels this game is nonlinear but the map will make it seem linear the levels themselves are not. But sometimes it can be a bit confusing on where to go. Overall good game with some flaws that are really bad and can affect your gaming experience. But this game has so much good qualities that just make the flaws worth putting up with.
We like this game, but we hate that an enemy touching the gun registers as a hit against cally.
Amazing and fun with an interestingly simple story with in action gameplay. Some parts got a bit repetitive however we beat the entire game including new game + betas quest melvins Zone etc. It was great! Many hours of entertainment. Well worth it.
First off this game is awesome and addicting. At first there were no ads but after u get a few levels in the ads start coming buts that's no big deal. The game is free. First problem we found is the left directional arrow sticks. And get worse as the game goes on. Second problem is that sometimes after an ad you have to start the level you just did over. Over all a great game but can somebody fix the directional arrow issue.
Fun to play, lots of challenges stuff to it. Ive finished the first two in the series, so we were wanting to finish this before we started on the 4th. Then came the problem. At some point, we could open the menu to use items, but the game would not let us select items to use. We contacted the developers, who said that they would fix the issue ASAP, this was several months ago. We were ready to buy the full game unlock or whatever its called and we would love to be able to finish the game. If this was fixed, we would give it 5 stars. We really hope that they havent abandoned this game, Ive enjoyed this series so far. It would really be a shame. Sadly, we have to send out this heads up to anybody out there so that they dont spend money on this, if they wont be able to finish it. Again just checking on the status of the game. It appears that they have abandoned it. Too bad Im very reluctant to delete the game, we would love to be able to finish it. But if they wont fix it.
We love these games. We downloaded because we heard that you don't need to spend actual money to win which technically is true but to play the new game plus with new upgraded weapons you have to pay. So only three stars.
We really love this game, but ads pop up in the middle of playing. This angers us and made us uninstall both the second and third versions.
It would be better if it wasn't so easy to kill the player and we hate having to start over all the time.
Very enjoyable and immersive game, but as so many reviewers have already said, WAY too many ads, sadly, and they only increase in frequency the longer you play the game. Too bad since this is a very fun game! The ads really become quite annoying and really detract from wanting to play the game and advance further. We hope the developers change this. We'd rather pay a few bucks for the game than view these ads all the time.

Super fun game but ads make it crash we were doing really well and the game crashed and you can't save progress so we lost everything this happens frequently.
Why the hell do we get ads if we've paid for the game this makes no sense.
Without in app purchases this game is near impossible.
We're not going to spend an hour trying to beat the first boss because you die if you touch his tail. Uninstall.
We typically don't mind ads. We actually prefer them to spending money. At first there were hardly any ads in this game, but once we progressed a decent way through the game, we started to see ads more and more. We were starting to get frustrated specifically because of the nature of what triggers the ads, cause back to back to back ads. We still didn't see this as an issue to write a bad review, but the ads have increased in time now and it's unbearable. The ads are now 75 seconds long and still trigger just as often and are still back to back. The game is unenjoyable at this point.
Game is glitchy as all get out. Paid for ad free, still glitchy. Also who's idea was it to long press to access guns? We need more sensitive controls. Y'all had so much potential we need you to get it together and fix this mess.
Frequent video ads crash the game, causing loss of progress. We didn't have a problem with the ads until they started coming up nonstop and wasted our progress.
We love this game it is very fun and has a lot of content. It was created very well and doesn't get the recognition that it deserves.
We love this game. We purchased survival mode and soon we'll get New Game+. With the recent update, the game crashes every few minutes. We can't even access Melvin's Zone level 9! This may be a problem on our device, but we've never had this trouble before. Anyway, thanks for the great games. Keep,up the good work.
It's a nice platformer with some decent mechanics,but there is some grinding involved,so be warned. The only thing we would add is being invincible for a second after being hit,as in some cases enemies can combo you to death,leaving the player feeling cheated.

A charming platformer that builds on the fun, free gameplay. While there's buyable content this time around, coaxing fans to invest in the developers, the effort they have put into this series honestly justifies such appreciation. Well done! Absolutely recommended. Plus, can be played offline! It's great having at least a couple games like that, just in case. Enjoy.
Cally's Caves 2 was a great, if incredibly difficult, game, yet Cally's Caves 3 improves upon it's predecessor in just about every way. You get a lot of content for free, and the only IAP are well worth it. It's obvious that the devs were more concerned with making their game really, really good than they were with making a quick buck.
Trust us, we're a dragon. Also, reminder to the dev to fix that one bug with Bera.. You know the one ;) Also, for anyone who doesn't know and is reading this, the game is on Steam, so you can play it on PC now.
We love this game it's amazing we highly recommend it and we also purchased the survival mode and new game plus which we also recommend but in survival mode there is a ridiculous number of waves which is good but you can't take a brake from it until you lose we would like a save feature for survival mode so you can pause it at a wave multiple of 5 or 10 and go play a different mode or game until you are ready to come back.
This is by far our favorite game, almost our favorite app. Thank you a million to the creators and developers.
A brilliant game. Simply fantastic. One of the best side scrollers we have ever played.
We never would have paid $5 for this, even with the rave reviews and promise of Metroidvania experience. But for the SOTN-style game+, we coughed up that fiver so fast.
This is a must play game for anyone with a phone or an ipad.
Best of the 3 games. Really entertaining with great MIDI music.
