Wanted to learn how this game works, and this is a nice implementation for that. Weird graphic motions made it confusing at first, but eventually figured out whose playfield is being played to, where the red 3 cards are coming from, etc. We wish there was an ad-free option but there is not. No issues as reported by others, but Im on a newer iPad and latest iOS. Ive even put iPad to sleep for 2 days and resumed game in play without issue.
This is the best app for beginners and its American canasta.
We play this game Daily and love it.
There are several things that could make the game better. The partner should not refuse to put cards down a few at a time- especially when both opponents have cards on the table. There has to be some programming to fix the bugs.
Still learning to play. But it is fun. Picking up the pile is very inconsistent.
Your supposed partner half the time appears to play against you. Wont go out or play at all. Extremely flawed.
We m playing all males , whats wrong with 4 or 5 female partners to choose from. Maria, Alice, Wendy, Susan, any of these would be nice besides, Charles, Winston and Geoffrey orJane?! Our mother always playedCanasta every Tuesday and 8 women came to play at 2 tables in our living room. We like the game otherwise. Please make some changes for more female partners . Thank you. Why is it at times our partner doesnt open or play yet discards wildcards & cards that Ive played?! Today we noticed that the opponents had 850 points played yet were given 1300 points when the game was over. Many times when we show we need 120 to lay down – our partner will lay down 90 or even 30 points. There are many many flaws in this game.
We think the creator of this game forgot the goal was to get canastas, not have the bots hold their cards to go out.
This game needs improvement because far too often the partner cant open or worse, wont open. It cannot be that only one person always opens. Not being able to see your partners cards after a game is a flaw in our eyes because we never see how they played with the cards they were dealt. This causes frustration on the better player. Another flaw is that if one accidentally played a joker with some cards while laying cards down there is no way to retrieve the joker in the same play. This is true if one meant to play the joker on another stack. There is no way to correctvthe move within ones tun. Hope you can address some of these points.
We love playing this game however our teammate hangs on to his cards too long. Sometimes he doesnt even play any cards even after we meld. Your AI need to play more realistic. Thanks.
Some inconsistencies within the game such as when trying to throw away a card after a turn receiving a message that the card does not match the pick up pile card. To continue, you have to quit the game and start over. Also, many times our partner will never lay down a card even when we have already laid down a set of As, he will discard an A. Once you learn the secrets to win, it is pretty easy to beat the opponent.
You have almost every card on the table and your partner still sits with a full hand. How is it possible that they cant even put one card down, they get rid of wild card by throwing them out. You will have 6 of a card and 3 of another card and your partner will put down on the three and discard the one that would have given you a canasta. Further your opponents almost always have the same cards and lost of wild cards when you need 120 to put down. Not by any chance a fair game.
You play with a partner that sometimes gives you no help at all and discards cards that would have given you a canasta it can drive you crazy. Sometimes you play with a partner that does not lay down one point they keep all 11 cards the whole game.This game use to be the best but now it always gives you problems with your partner not playing any cards so sad.
This app is very upsetting when the whole game many times relies only on us. Our partner doesnt lay out any cards when it is so obvious he could as just about every meld is down. Also the partner wont go out when he could. He just discards when he could match up and go out.
Partner throws cards away we need… Really.
What is 3% Doesnt let you play. Decides for you, Our future. Ads for stuff frim china, even spin for per cent is rigged.
We downloaded this game, played two hands, and then deleted it. When you have melded, and you have cards on the table, as long as the deck is not frozen you can pick up the deck. This game would not allow it. Frozen or not, it only allowed you to pick up the deck with a pair. This is NOT how one plays Canasta.
Why is doesn't our AI partner play their hands? Most of the games are spent just picking up and discarding. We're playing by ourselves while they sit with eleven cards, even throwing away 2s without having played anything? And why are they playing wildcards to make their own melds when there are two sets already out waiting for a canasta? Why do they pick up the entire discard pile with more than 20 cards in their hand but they can only play one small meld, but when we pick up the discard pile, we can put down hundreds in points? All the AI partner does is sabotage. This app is just for advertising, it doesn't function well. Deleting.
Game flickers , stalls and freezes up right in the middle of the game causing you to lose your game completely and having to start all over, theyll pick up the entire deck throws out a few cards holds the rest of course you lost the game, and theyll throw away cards that could be used while holding all 11 cards no matter that mostly all the cards are on the table meaning that you have to have the remaining cards needed . You might as well be playing by yourself ! One star for effort. Our game has been completely compromised. You need to check into the situation when Im playing for Im a targeted individual and know from experience.
We have opened yet our partner doesnt play one card the entire game and he discards cards that he could have played on our stacks and he discards wild cards. It doesnt make sense.
Will not allow us to pick up pile. Get the message you should create at least 3 percents we have no idea what this means.
Please give us back the Canasta we have been playing for years. Its the game you play against the computer. We have to play it each morning and just loved it.
Organizes hand like Hearts, by suit and type. In Canasta the suit does not matter (except partially for red threes and black threes). Hand should be organized by type.
