We have played over 900 Hard Games of Canasta and found it fun and relaxingenjoy.
This app would be better if it actually recognized a canasta every time. Consistently it gives us an error, telling us we cant go out without a canasta but we have a canasta (with at least 4 natural cards) already completed.
This is the greatest online or offline canasta game on the internet. Ive played nearly every one thats available and Canasta Royale is clearly the best. We stand by our words we play it ever day and still think its te best.
Buggy game, still. Freezes mid game that makes you have to restart and lose your money and game, so screws with your win loss ration. Gets repetitive with the top wager only being 5000. When its working, its fun.
When you cant even play the game until you have watched an add we quit.
When you get two red threes in a deal, one is not counted as a red three which is worth 100 points and the if you draw two more, you dont get credit for the 800 points you should be getting. We have noticed this never happens with the computers hand. We are not 5e first to comment on this so please fix it.
The canasta game still has some glitches. For example it only counts some of your red 3s. If you draw two it only takes one and treats the other like a black three. Would like the cards to be a little bigger easier to see. Takes a while to earn enough points to go to the other games so not sure on those, but the canasta game is ok minus some issues.
So many issues, we wish we could screen shot and give it to a developer so it could be fixed. We now have smiley faces on the board, but the card counting is gone. The first round of the game we just played didnt register points and went back to zero. A game we played a week ago should have ended because our opponent was out of cards, but didnt end. We needed to forfeit to stop it. Some of the red threes stay in our hand instead of going on the board. The only way to play them is to discard. The timer doesnt always show a time and stays on the same person. These are only a few of the issues.
Easy to play while watching nonsense tv.
We mean this literally, every aspect of this game has a bug. Red threes go to your hand instead of the board. Want to pick up from an unfrozen pile since you have an acceptable hand? That glitches. Want to discard your final card given that you have a canasta or multiple? That will glitch. Want to meld a card? It might discard instead. Want to complete daily challenges? You can try but usually your progress wont register with the game. Due to this becoming increasingly frustrating Ive tried a few other apps and unfortunately this would be the best multiplayer option if they could manage to work out some of these bugs. App support is responsive but it seems that people have submitted these complaints for years now.
Love this version of Canasta. Easy to learn and fun to play.
Ive written reviews before & its still the best canasta out there. We only have one negative to report, a couple of times we get dealt a red 3 to our regular hand & theres no way to put it aside ,so Im forced to discard it. Other than that this is a really terrific game, thanks.

Best canasta app Ive found. We wish it were in the Apple Arcade. The ads are sometimes excruciating long, but we love the hand and foot game. We just saw today that you can play an actual human, but we havent figured out how to do that yet.
They have the best design and game play. We play this and Spite and Malice constantly. North Sky Games are great game designers.
Our grandma taught us this game when we were a kid, and we forgot about it till we found this version. It makes us feel good to play, brings back old feelings of love and warmth.

Often, it seems the computer gets many wild cards and our hand gets none on the first play of a hand.
We enjoy playing canasta, and enjoy honing our skills at play. We really dislike the fact that expert level has a cost, when it should be earned rather than purchased in our opinion.
We dont like it when an ad keeps continuing without option to close so we may return to game. Sometimes we give up and stop playing until later.
Ive played this game for a long time off and on. When we started back we notice our opponent always received a lot of red 3s (100 PTS each), which we were lucky to get 2. Which in turn allowed the opponent to always win just by the red 3s. Very disappointing.
The more we play the more frustration we get over the red 3s. We play a strategically better game and lose because the computer favors the computer and deals it 4 of the 3s so it wins.
Ads are annoying and too frequent. New one coming up wants us to reveal our age which we resent. Our age should not have anything to do with types of ads shown.
Beating the computer is so easy. In hard level single player we have lost one time and patted over 250 times.

This is by far one of the best canasta games out there. You can progress through the difficulty levels as you learn the game, which is great for beginners. This game taught us how the game is played, strategies & some hard lessons. The graphics are really superior & there are no annoying ads to deal with during the entire round!! If we have one criticism it would be that, when tallying up the points you dont get to see your total score at that time, you have to wait until the next hand begins. Otherwise its really fun & fast paced.
We love this game, especially the Hand and Foot version.
