The only reason we gave 5 stars so ppl is that they see it there id dimply to much adds.
We find many phone games to be fun for a dozen times, then boring, and have excessive ads. This is one of those games.
We’ve been playing this game for a long time now and Im on level 2312, but now not only are there ads in between levels, now they pop up in the middle of a level. Ads are annoying as it is but to have them come up while playing the level is ridiculous. The game itself is super fun and no issues there but cut down on the ads please. Update to this review. Im just under level 3000 and the ads seemed to have increased even more. We refuse to pay for no ads so its time to stop playing this game which is sad because its fun and we’ve spent a lot of time on it but the ads are out of control. Hopefully the developers tone down on the amount unless they have some wicked games coming out that they need funding for.
Would give 5 stars but for a few issues. First, the main screen is clearly not formatted for iPhones, as the menu bar at the bottom is not actually at the bottom of the screen. There is a clearly unintentional gap and it just looks sloppy. Second, the map is useless. It used to let you replay previous missions (so, if you wanted to try again for 3 stars instead of 1-2 you could, or for a better explosion), but no longer. So now its just endless castles with one attempt at each unless you actually truly fail. Why even have the map then? But our main complaint is the reason its only 3 stars. For a physics game all about blowing up castles to see the pieces fly and the physics explosions in glorious 3d (is awesome btw), the game made a very poor design choice. When you fire your cannon, the camera zooms way in and follows the shot to the impact point, this is good, and then it zooms back out to see the resulting explosion BUT! IT DOESNT ZOOM OUT FAR ENOUGH! Often (especially if you are aiming toward one side edge of the castle or the other, ie not in the middle) when it zooms back out you CANNOT SEE THE WHOLE CASTLE, and thus if you get a really cool and satisfying chain explosion, much of, or even MOST OF the explosion will HAPPEN OFF SCREEN???!??!!!?! So you cant see the awesome explosion itself, only the ruined aftermath as the camera resets to the firing location for another shot. This COMPLETELY defeats the whole point of the game!!? And it happens frequently enough (especially on the bigger castles) that it really detracts from the fun. Its such a simple fix too, when it zooms out again, just always make sure it zooms out enough to show the whole castle! Bam! Problem solved, 5 star app! But no :( Been an issue for years, which we’ve complained about before, and nothing has been done after many updates. Shame.
We use to enjoy this game. It was simple and passed time with minimal ads. Now not only do you get an ad after every round, they also pop up while youre playing. Have now deleted this game from our phone.
Too many advertisements make it run very slow.
This is a fun game and even though we dont play it everyday, we enjoy going in there after a frustrating day and blasting our stress away. We’ve had this on our iPad for a few years and really enjoyed it. However, we’ve been busy working and moving lately and havent played in a while. So, now we go in and click on start and while trying to line up our shot (EVERY shot!), an ad pops up and we have to click Close before we can proceed. And, theres no way we can find to make it stop. We realize that the economy stinks right now and everyone is trying to find ways to increase their income but this is too much! Im deleting the game and will find something else to fill the gap.

Ok; the ad DURING GAME PLAY you: Aim Horizontally POP UP ADD Aim Vertically CANNON GOES BOOM Now PEASANTS hate ads and putting one IN THE MIDDLE OF GAMEPLAY is NOT A GOOD LOOK ON YOUR GAME PERIOD!!!! We would consider changing this and while you are at it FIX THE MAIN MENU SCREEN; PLEASE!!!! There are other icons to click on but when we click on one it ALWAYS Sends us to A WORLD OVERVIEW MAP There is A LOT of POTENTIAL for this game to be very good but some FINE TUNING would be MUCH APPRECIATED!!!!!
Too many adds we dont play it because of all the stupid adds.
After each destruction you have to watch a game your not even interested in. We can understand after a few games but not every one.
Castle Wreck as a game is fine. However, the incessant number of ads that play when you clicked on No Thanks is irritating. The app has obviously been programmed to play ads even when the player decides to forgo any bonuses connected to watching ads. That is quite a turn off.
The game is very fun, good to pass the time. However, it slows down so much and lags horrible and becomes unplayable if we play over 20 minutes. It also overheats our phone and the back of our phone is hot to the touch.
It used to be a decent game but now you will spend more time watching ads than playing.
This game was fun in earlier versions. We think all the new ads that pop in every 5 seconds and interfere with game play has caused a huge lag issue. And the ads are super annoying. Im ok with an occasional ad but this feels like they sold screen space like IOI wanted to do in Ready Player One.
Worked flawlessly for sometime now. We really liked playing. Now it just grinds away and after a few plays, just flat out crashes.
Tragically this game went face down in the mud. We remember when it had no ads, now its constantly interrupting the gameplay and theres no apparent way to get rid of them. Id pay like $2 to go ad free but dont see that option.

This game is honestly pretty fun, except its 2/3 ads, 1/3 game play. There is an unnecessary amount of ads to deal with. So much, they pop up mid game, as well as after ever round. We were even willing to purchase the ad free version, but that isnt an option. Uninstalled because we cant take the ads anymore.
This game has tons of potential to be super fun, however, the amount of ads is ridiculous, and very quickly starts to outweigh any fun. No option to remove ads?! The game play is fun but not much variety of castles to demolish. The skins that you can unlock in the game are pointless, and you cant upgrade anything. Some levels can be difficult to pass, but then the boss levels can often be passed with one shot, which makes no sense. Grew tired of even trying to play because of ads playing constantly, (on par for voodoo games) Very disappointing.
Would love to be able to rotate the view and see playback from different angles.
Game is too simple with way too many ads making it unplayable. We would not recommend wasting your time with this app.
Whats with the ads popping up in the middle of a level just as you are lining up to shoot?
We bought a new iPad and downloaded this game to it. Voodoo will not restore the purchases from the original game. So now we have to endure endless ads. Was a great game, now its a money grab. Not good on your part voodoo for not restoring our purchase to rid the game of ads!
This is the first review on a game we have ever submitted. We are so disgusted with the ads it inspired us to warn others. The game is fairly fun, but you spent four times more time watching ads than actually playing the game.
This game is so much fun. We love it from time to time we stop playing it for like a month and then we come right back to it. So satisfying! Sometimes we open up a level and hand it to our friend and say hey play this really quick and thats how we let them know about this game now literally every one of our friends plays this game. We do have one recommendation for the developers! After we have completed a level, can we have unlimited cannon balls to finish destroying the castle? Sometimes we beat a level but theres still a lot of the castle standing and we just want to destroy it. Lol keep up the good work!
Theres too many advertisements which is extremely annoying! Would appreciate it if we didnt have to deal with these advertisements. Not that anyone will actually be reading this! Thank you!
This is a necessity for people who want a satisfying game with cool powerups! It has smooth graphics, realistic damage, funny emojis, and easy to defeat levels! This is a very good game! We suggest this!
Been playing Castle Wreck since shortly after it came out. Currently sitting at level 38,000. Im Master Zoom on the leader board. Fun game. Has lots of glitches. Once you figure out how to win each castle with the minimum number of shots you will find the game enjoyable. Great time waster.
Its cool to watch things collapse, it is a little laggy and we dont think there is a way to get rid of the ads.
Great game. Funny screams would be fun to hear when you blow up the guards all crazy. Make the Boss level bigger.
Great commercials!! Hate to spoil them with a pesky GAME!! Again, a great game spoiled by commercial overkill! How many times do we need to see the same one in a 5 min. Period of time?!? After 20 min. Of ads and 7 min. Of gameplay it only took 30 seconds to uninstall the game!
There is to many adds its a good game but there should be an option to be able to pay to skip ads.
We love this game. So satisfying to blow up the castle and watch destruction rain down! The graphics are great fun too, little soldiers cheering, jeering and giving up the ghost. BUT just recently we’ve been seeing annoying pop-up ads right in the middle of the game, when Im aiming or shooting. They interrupt the game. Theyre totally uselessI dont even pause to see what theyre advertising. Get rid of these horrible annoyances!!!

We downloaded this game and paid $3 for no ads, but deleted this game a while ago cause we had no space. After sufficiently cleaning our phone of junk, and redownloaded this game. We were bombarded with ads and pressed the Restore Purchase button in Settings. Im still being harassed with ads despite pressing the button. Please fix this.
Its a fun game. Good time killer. It has ad after every level. Also its the same thing over and over. Over all not a bad game.
We have just played our last game. While we enjoy it you have gone waaaaay overboard with ads, bottom of the screen, between games and during play. Also, many of them are in a language o5er than English. Bye.

When we first downloaded this app several years ago, we enjoyed it. There were ads but they only popped up every now and then. Now, there are ads pretty much after each level and even during a level. While we were watching the tower fall (still had not fully beat the level officially), and ad blocking the tower pops up. Its annoying. We wouldnt recommend downloading this until they remove the debilitating advertising.
Used to rate this game 5 stars. Game was fine with an ad after every couple of castles. We could even tolerate ads after almost every castle. But ads popping up between shots on the same castle, and just as youre ready to make your shot??? In the words of our favorite philosopher, Mama Gump, Stupid is as stupid does.
