We wish there was a way to skip the animation for the achievements. Like a double tap or a skip button. We also wish that on the end scoring, if a user taps on the item that the scoring break down for that item is shown.
Our daughter would be bananas if you could change the cats names – any chance?
Our kids and friends love to play with us.
We love this board game but dont have many people who will play with us. We wish there was a solo mode but as there is not, this app is a great option! Please add the expansion :)
Our friend got this card game while here on vacation and we played every day until she left. We went out and bought the game the same day and the expansion pack! Its seriously addicting. Once you learn to play it goes pretty quickly or as slow as you want it to! Such a great game and could be enjoyable for children as well!
It is so fun to play its hard to stop playing.
We rarely write reviews. But tripped Upon this when looking for smash-up app (my son and we play AEGs awesome, if slightly unbalanced, physical card game). We love it. We play it all the time, games are quick, the sounds of the cats are funny, and its a challenge. Our twin 6yos love it, our 11yo loves It, and we do. Its truly one of those games that covers all the bases for fast challenging fun.
We love Race for the Galaxy, but our wife will not play with us. This game is cute and with the achievements, you can play competitively and still let your wife win so shes happy. Beautiful game. Would love to see more features like guard dogs and chasing coyotes.
We really enjoy the physical card game and this is an excellent implementation. The AI is well balanced IMO and its a fast easy game to play while waiting for things. Theres even pass and play!
We have the tabletop version of Cat Lady and have always enjoyed it. We’ve been playing this digital version for about a year and its so good! Super fast and satisfying, we can get several games in during on session of playtime. Love it!
Have the board game so when we saw it available on our apps we bought immediately. Fun and plays quick.
Great game, we have the physical game too. Nice quick play, well done. Wish we could play asynchronous with others. In Covid times, in person pass and play is hard.
Our family loves this game and to find the app was such an awesome find. The graphics are amazing and it is really reminiscent of the actual game. The only downer is we wish you could play this online with other people. That is quite a disappointment as you can only play against the computer or someone if theyre sitting right next to you. If someone is by us Im going to play the real game, so it was a disappointment to not be able to play online as that was the main reason we downloaded this.
Please add online challenge so we can play with our friends online,that would be great Otherwise this app is great.
Really good, but where is the manual in app? Like to see how scoring works, and better explanation of cards.
The adorable animations and sound effects make this delightful to play. Our only wish is that there were an online play option in addition to pass-and-play :)

Our partner and we own the physical version of this game, but this digital version is such a perfect adaptation (and better in ease of play ways), that we havent really opened back up the physical since getting this over a year ago! One complaint: why restrict the seasonal theme? For those that dont know, its a Christmas theme which changes nothing about the game but just dresses it up with a lovely holiday aesthetic. We love the theme so much that it literally stops us from updating the app when we know the update is gonna remove it. Devs, please stop this nonsense and just make the theme either an IAP for permanent use or better yet just a free option for players to turn on or off at any time.
Since the Christmas update we can no longer feed the cats. All we can do is collect the cards.
Plays really fast and is a satisfying puzzle to feed cats and optimize the resources you gather. Cute animations as well.
The recent update has caused the game screen actions to be very wobbly, it actually hurts our eyes. And like the other reviewers, Im very annoyed at being lured into signing up with Facebook thinking we could play with real-life friends. If we cant do that, what is the reason for it? And you cant un sign! So, 3 stars, but if these issues are resolved Ill give 5 stars.
Great digital version of a a light fun card game.
Im so glad we stumbled upon this game! This is one of the best designed games we’ve ever come across. The tutorial is perhaps the best we’ve seen in any game we’ve played, very well done. The art design is awesome, and the gameplay is perfectly balanced. We have a busy schedule, so being able to play a solo game against AI in just five minutes is just the thing we’ve been looking for. And, cute cats! Also the price is so fair. No IAPs, no stupid subscriptions. We applaud this developer. This is how games should be made!

Nice little nonviolent strategy game, not too simple and not too complicated. (My first review of this game was low because a bug froze the game. That has been fixed. Good work, developer.)
Gameplay is excellent and the game is really fun! Rated three stars because Facebook is required for complete access.
It was crashing, rebooted… 2p seems ok but 3 or 4 crashes.
Great game but no online play with friends kept us from recommending it to the people we play with on-line. Also the puzzley challenges are is ONLY available if you have facebook? What!
We love this game and wanted to play it with others online. The mobile version is great, but it requires Facebook in order to play with other people. We do not have Facebook and dont plan on getting it, so Im locked out of this feature and have to play with AI. After paying for the game we are really bummed to find that out and that there are no other options for playing with others.

This is a fantastic, short game to take up time. We really enjoy the card taking mechanic, and the ease of the interface in assigning food to your cats. We would like to see Facebook removed as a requirement to access challenge mode, in particular due to Facebooks ongoing security and privacy concerns. Because functionality is lost without using this third party, one star was deducted. If challenge mode didnt exist, or Facebook was removed, five stars would be warranted.
Challenge mode is inaccessible unless you have a Facebook account. Those of us without a Facebook account have no way of participating in challenges. It feels like half the app is withheld from paying customers. With all the privacy violations in the news its incredibly tone deaf of the developer to require Facebook to access part of the app. Had we known Facebook was essentially required for full access we would not have purchased this app.
Requires Facebook to access challenges, which is why we purchased this. We were also considering buying the board game for a friend. Uninstalled for blatant monetization of privacy violations. Devrloper, let us know when you come to your senses and fix your app. We wish we could get a refund.
We are insanely addicted to this app. It is like the solitaire of cat ladies. Worth the 2 bucks, but we have already completed all the challenges. Please add more, so we can work toward something. Food for thought; if you added a way to play with other users, we could play this with our brother, and you would get another two dollars.
Nomad Games has really captured this games tabletop magic. The AI plays intelligently and provides an adequate challenge. We hope more games can make the leap from table to mobile.
Please add more cards or challenges or awards. We’ve complected them all it would be nice to have more content to keep us engaged. Id have no problem paying!
Im very displeased that we cant play half the game because we dont sign in with Facebook. What a stupid decision. We wont buy from this developer again. Its a shame, because the game itself is great.

It is a very fun game but it feels like something is missing. We know its just a card game but Im left wanting more.
Bought the physical game a while ago, but haven’t found the time to play. But we bought this as soon as we heard it was digital! Easy to learn, quick play rounds, and fun cat animations! We love the cats names (use to have a cat named Pumpkin!). And getting to choose the difficulty of your opponent is a good challenge! The game is playable without internet and has no constant pestering to connect to social media! We play while waiting, or better yet, on our 5 hour plane flight across country! Feeding the happy cats makes us smile and keeps us coming back to get more cats!
Maybe enhancements to come but we think this should have been included : Save our score and name and default to it Default to Classic mode Save our settings of Easy, Medium, Hard Its a fun and cute game, just needs a few tweaks.
While the core gameplay of Cat Lady is very well implemented, there are some app polish/quality of life issues that need addressing. – why is there no rules reference? – what exactly is happening in challenge mode? How is it scored? Is there a way to find our name easily in the leaderboards? – is this online challenge mode the only online multiplayer that exists? If so why? Whats here is well presented, but more needs to be here from an app management perspective to get 5 stars.
The developers were creative and have made an addicting game.
What a cute app! We dont play a lot of mobile games, but we tend to download any cat ones we see. And this is one of the more engaging ones if youre coming from the world of passive cat collector apps. After a very helpful tutorial, its not hard at all to get addicted to playing. Definitely see myself opening it up when we want to kill some time.

This is how you port a board game! Wonderfully easy to learn, yet hard to master. Great art, beautiful UI and simple minimalist board equals a wonderful experience. There are fantastic small things the developers did that really make us smile (the cats frown until they’re fed and then they smile cute). The controls are super intuitive and the sounds and colors are perfection. Love Cat Lady the game and this digital port is just as great!
