Description
Lotus is a beautiful game that grows into a unique work of art every time you play.
Clear your head and take in the quiet strength of the Lotus garden. It takes skillful care and nurturing to grow these flowers to their full potential, but once picked, they provide their owner with wisdom. Beware, for there are others who will do anything they can to get their hands on these mystical flowers. You’ll need to enlist the help of creatures native to this land to take control of the Lotus garden and achieve true enlightenment.
In Lotus, players take turns adding petals and utilizing guardians to control and nurture these mystical flowers to maturity. Collect special abilities as you grow to aid you on your quest, and gain wisdom points for each completed bloom. At the end of the game the player with the most wisdom points will emerge from the garden that much closer to enlightenment!
Vibrant visual effects, skilled AI, meditative environmental music and smooth touch play translate the serenity of Lotus to your phone or tablet.

Lotus is such a lovely game! Im a big fan of the floral theme & the magical qualities. It is a simple & easy game to learn with fun animations & sweet little guardians to help you along the way.
We already had this developers Lanterns game and like it, so when we found this we thought Id try it. Its a similar concept in how it works, and its easy to learn but challenging in a fun way, its not frustrating. Its different enough from Lanterns to enjoy both, theyre not redundant. Visually its gorgeous too. Its best on a larger-size phone or iPad, we think it would be too hard to see some elements on a smaller phone. We usually dont like landscape mode games, but we like this well enough that we can handle that (its not the type of game that would work well in portrait, the layout wouldnt quite work that way). We appreciate the fair premium price and no ads or IAPs. This is another great game by a good developer. We hope it stays updated. Thank you for a great game!
While we love this game, we consistently get caught off guard by the abrupt end of round. The game would be more strategic if that phase was more clearly explained. All we know is the game takes over and sometimes a player gets to recoup some points or draw cards but other times this is not so; however we dont understand why. Otherwise, its a very enjoyable game.
Gameplay, graphics, controls etc. Are amazing, and gaming the AIs, which even on hard difficulty play suboptimally, is also fun. The one thing preventing the game from being perfect, is a strange bug previously brought up in another review by LadyIce830. Specifically, when you are about to reach level 10, on the appearance of the final mission you need, the game softlocks, presumably because there are less than 3 missions left to display. Thus, you can never actually reach level 10, obtain the golden scoring stone, and achieve perfect enlightement, no matter how many times you outplay the AIs. Im curious as to whether Lanterns, or any of DWDs other digital board games have this strange bug, or if its just Lotus.
We saw the tabletop version of this game at a game store and was thrilled to find a mobile version. The game is beautiful and addictive, and we love playing against other people. We wish notifications worked!
The game graphics and animations are pretty but not having notifications when its your turn is a huge painpoint. Its easy to forget to check the app when everyone has different schedules, leading to abandoned games if no one sends a text as a reminder. Id also love to see a more diverse nameset for solo games!

Make sure to play this with the sound on! Our wife and we have the board game version of this game at home and were thrilled to see it available for our phones. The multiplayer works great for us – so the developers mustve fixed the issues from earlier reviews. The sounds, visuals and attention to detail on the actions are all excellent. Great addition to the games folder!
We originally gave this game 1 star due to frustrations at launch with bad connection. That has since been fixed. This is a beautiful game. We love the physical games art and this really just knocks it out of the park. We really love how we can play this game with friends at different times. If they ever get notifications to work this will be a 5 star game. As of now there is no way to know when its your turn until you open the app.
We LOVE this game! It’s beautiful, soothing and relaxing, but now that we’ve made it to level 9, after it registers our completed challenges, the game freezes. Then when we start the game again it hasn’t completed registering the completed challenges and makes us do them again! :( Can you please fix???
Really nice, nuanced game. Starting a multiplayer friend game, however, is a pain in the neck. That needs to be fixed ASAP. Its the primary reason we got the game. Bugs like this are fatiguing.
They graphics are nice. And the music is also nice. But we couldnt get interested in the gameplay itself. Moving ladybugs, etc. Perhaps its just a bit too laid-back for us.
First of all we love how beautiful this game is. Its so calming and relaxing to just look at. The music is also very calming. But we also like that it challenges us at a variety of different levels. If we just want to relax at the end of the day and plan easy game we can do that. Or if Im feeling up to it we can play a more challenging game and really push the limits of strategy play. This is a super addicting game. So if you have a road trip or a long flight coming up make sure you download this!
Love this card game and DireWolfDigital created another stellar port (like they did with Lanterns). It’s immersive but still somewhat minimal and the solo and multiplayer games are fantastic. Great music and overall fun gameplay means this is an A+ port. Just missing an undo button as we keep playing the wrong petals by accident!
We got this title because we thought our wife and we could play it async. Well, as it currently stands, the multiplayer is not working. Every login attempt is met with a connection failure and there is no way to create or send a game to each other. Looking to get our money back if this isnt resolved soon. Big waste.
